Ms. Emma was the absolute best swim coach! My son went from refusing to get in the water or even get his face wet to genuinely enjoying swimming by the end of his lessons. My daughter is now such a confident swimmer, and we couldn't be happier with her progress. Emma is incredibly kind, patient, and amazing with kids. On top of that, she's a fantastic coach who teaches important, life-saving water safety skills while making the kids feel comfortable and confident. We had the best experience and truly cannot recommend her enough! read more

Swim Synergy, and particularly our teacher Miss Emma, were absolutely amazing! I could not have asked for a better first swimming experience for my 21 month old son. Miss Emma was so patient and caring, and always prioritized making my son feel comfortable and safe. She knew when to push him and modified lessons to match what he could handle. He loved coming to lessons each day! We will be taking lessons with her again for sure! Swim synergy also does a great job finding great pools and sets up a little waiting area with toys so the kids are occupied while they wait for their lessons. We loved our entire experience! read more

Hands down, the best one on one swim lessons! I had tried may different "franchise"/local swim schools and nothing seemed to help my girls learn. But I committed to the 10 week program this past fall and within the first week I knew this was going to be worth my time and money! Lauren and Krista are both amazing at what they do and not once did they let our girls give up. They do this because they are passionate about teaching kids how to swim and survive! I can't recommend them enough! I'm already looking forward to the short refreshers they offer closer to summer time! FYI the pools are heated and even if it's cold outside, the kids will not be freezing in the pools! read more

We've had our children take lessons with Krista at Swim Synergy for the past two summers, and I can't recommend her enough. We relocated from San Francisco to San Diego and moved into a home with a pool, so making sure our kids were safe around water was one of my top priorities. I actually scheduled swim lessons for our daughter, Emmy, with Krista before we even moved here! Emmy started lessons when she was 2, continued again the next summer at 3, and this past summer our son Hayes joined in at just 1.5 years old. Krista has such a gift with young children -- she's patient (yet firm), calm, and knows exactly how to make them feel comfortable and confident in the water. We've seen incredible progress each summer. Both kids have not only learned essential water safety skills, but they also love being in the pool now. The peace of mind knowing my young children are safe around water is truly priceless, and it makes living in Southern California (and being around so much water) so much less stressful. Swim Synergy has been such a wonderful experience for our family, and we're already looking forward to lessons again next summer! read more

We feel so lucky to have found Emma as a swim instructor! From day one, she made my kids feel comfortable and excited to be in the water. Not only did they gain confidence, but Emma taught them essential water safety skills in such a fun and approachable way. She has a wonderful balance of patience, encouragement, and skill-building. The 10-week program is definitely more of a commitment than previous swim schools we've tried out, but the amount of progress our kids made was well worth it! read more

I am close to 40 years old and I never learned how to swim after a traumatic near-drowning incident I had when I was younger. I was terrified of getting in the water and not being able to touch the bottom. I set a goal for myself to overcome my fear and learn how to swim, but knew that, as an adult learner, I had to also get over my anxiety of being an older person learning a skill I should have learned as a child. I researched swim instructors in my area and found Krista at Swim Synergy. She set up a consultation with me where I explained my past experiences and how I felt so awkward being an adult learner. She quelled all my fears and reassured me that I could learn and that she has tons of adults in her practice. I signed up for the 10-week program and I can honestly say she changed my life. Not only did I learn how to tread water, I overcame my fear of not being able to touch the bottom. She also taught me how to swim laps with side breathing, which I never thought I'd ever be able to do. She was incredibly encouraging, thoughtful in her feedback, and always made sure I was safe and felt comfortable with everything she was teaching. I also learned in a 1-on-1 format, which was so helpful in getting the techniques to "stick" and the personalized attention made it so easy to ask questions. Krista is truly an amazing instructor and an even better human. I would recommend her to everyone who wants to learn how to swim, no matter your age. read more

We had such a wonderful experience with the Swim Synergy. Ms. Nikki, was incredibly kind and patient. In the beginning, our son really struggled with floating on his back and didn't want to let go of her. We honestly weren't sure if he would get it, but Ms. Nikki never gave up on him. She encouraged him every step of the way, and then one day it just clicked and he was floating all on his own! Thanks to her dedication and gentle guidance, our son is now swim safe. We are so grateful for Ms. Nikki. We were honestly sad the 10 weeks were over. So happy we found swim synergy! read more

Krista has been such a blessing for our family! My middle son refused to even put his face in the water when we started and by the end he could fall in the pool in his full winter jacket and shoes and easily make it across and out of the pool. It was an investment for sure, but I couldn't think of anything more important than my children's water safety. We're around water so much and it's such a peace of mind to know after working with Krista, my kid are 100% swim safe. My youngest who's 2 will be working with her this summer and I can not wait to have all three kids completely water safe, especially living in San Diego! Worth every penny. read more

Swim Synergy is amazing! My cautious 4 year old refused to go into the pool when we started lessons. At the end of 10 weeks, he loves going in the pool, can float and can swim short distances. He had Krista for half his lessons and Sandra for the other half. They were both spectacular. Krista was so patient, even through the difficult weeks when my son was resisting his lessons. I'm so glad I found swim synergy. Their program is very effective in teaching kids how to swim in a short amount of time and it was exactly what my child needed. read more

Swim Synergy instructors are by far the premier swim skills instructors in Southern California. As a pool owner working with Swim Synergy I have witnessed so many kids turn the corner and progress to be not only ready to get in the water but embrace the lessons. I see parents overwhelmed with joy knowing their kids are learning to love and respect the water. Parents appreciate Krista and her team and how they teach water safety with true professionalism. They employ praise, patience and confidence building in each student. We are happy to offer our pool in such a rewarding endeavor seeing kiddos evolve into safe and confident swimmers! I highly recommend Swim Synergy. read more

Swim synergy is hands down the best swim lessons! When we moved to the area to a house with a pool a call to Krista was the first one we made. Our 2 year old learned to swim so well easing our fears of having a pool and helping us enjoy all the benefits of living in the area. Our 5 year old went from a pretty mediocre swimmer to being confident and water safe. He made so much progress in a few weeks after many years of swim lessons at other swim schools. Not only are the lessons very effective but Krista and her team are so warm and wonderful to work with. She does everything to make your experience feel comfortable, seamless, and friendly. The pools are gorgeous and clean making your time there feel enjoyable and relaxing. We couldn't be happier with our experience there! read more

We had such a wonderful experience with Swim Synergy! Mrs. Krista was warm, patient, and so encouraging with my son. She helped him understand how to hold his breath under the water and guided him to feel comfortable floating on his own. By the end of the program, he was confidently doing a swim-float-swim to the side of the pool! I'm so grateful for the skills he gained and for Mrs. Krista's caring guidance. Highly recommend this program! read more

Krista is amazing. We started lessons with Krista when Jacob was 8 months old. We had to drive over an hour in 1 direction for lessons. She is absolutely amazing. She is so amazing with the kids. We went back year after year to keep lessons up. When Jacob was 10, we went back to have her to teach him how to snorkel as we were headed to the Caribbean. Jacob has always been a VERY strong swimmer because of her lessons. It was such a blessing to have peace of mind with Jacob as an infant/toddler when he would visit grandparents with a pool and no fence. I can't say enough great things about Krista and her program. Now that Jacob is 17 years old, I can say that I am so glad we did the lessons when he was an infant. Best investment ever! read more

Krista is a true miracle worker. We just weren't able to teach our younger daughter (5 years) like we did our older daughter (7 years). She was too afraid to try without floaties and it was becoming a battle, plus we had NO peace of mind when around water. We needed an expert, and that is exactly what Krista is. Within 1 week, our girl was swimming confidently without floaties! We were so amazed to say the least. After a summer of lessons, our girl was confident and so were we. I cannot understate the importance of your peace of mind in addition to their confidence and ability. Finally, I can relax around a pool and that is priceless. Krista teaches with just the right amount of empathy and firmness, and was able to form a strong bond with only one lesson! Your child deserves life saving swim lessons and the BEST instructor to teach them. You deserve the peace of mind. I recommend signing up ASAP becuase her lessons fill up FAST! read more

Both of my kids learned how to swim and perfected their strokes with Swim Synergy. Lifetime investment in your childs swim safety!

The best swim instructor for our kiddos. She will teach your kiddos how to swim in 10 weeks!! We love her!!

Krista is so kind and intuitive with the kids. My son was swimming with his face in the water by week 2. By the end of the 10 weeks I felt comfortable with him being able to swim on his own and go into his survival float. I had taken him to other swim classes for an entire summer the prior year and he never learned to swim. Krista and her teaching philosophy and system made all the difference. read more

Krista was absolutely amazing and my son looked forward to the lesson every day and still asked to have lessons with her. My son was very sensitive and had bad experience with another swimming coach so was reluctant to get into water. Krista saved my toddler's life. We were 1 week into swim lessons with Krista when this happened. My 3 kids were in the hot tub together, and my 3 yo was practicing exactly as Krista had shown us at our lesson at the end of the week. I looked down to get my phone to film the kids and answer a question someone had asked me. When I looked up, I saw that my daughter had slipped from the step and was bobbing under water. In the time it took for me to call out to her brothers and stand up, my daughter had managed to grab the ledge of the hot tub. She pulled herself back onto the step and got her head out of the water totally on her own, just as Krista had taught her that week. The most incredible part was that she had managed to hold her breath during the entire ordeal, just as she had learned during her final lesson of the week. These were not skills she had prior to her lessons. It was 100% Krista. I will be forever grateful to her & Swim Synergy! read more

my son took swim lessons recently with Krista and has learned so much in a short amount of time with her! my son always looked forward to his lessons with her and I would definitely recommend this program to anyone looking to get your kids swimming the right way in a private setting. read more

Absolutely the BEST THING I ever did as a parent was enroll my girls in this swim program. My youngest was swimming before she could even walk! There are no words for the peace of mind you get when your kids even BABIES are able to be near water without the fear of them drowning. It's so much different conventional swim lessons in that they are taught to FLOAT and swim. They can float endlessly after learning this technique! Krista is the most AMAZING teacher! My daughter was difficult to say the least but Krista was always kind, patient, professional and loving. I can not recommend this program enough!! read more

I spent years taking my son to various swim schools. I would talk to friends and neighbors trying to find the one that could make him water safe. Krista is incredible, no short of magical. She helped my son get over the learning hump. He is almost 16 and now he wants to be on the swim team! Initially I was not sure that I wanted to pay the money but it was one of the best investments I have made. I spent far more on the 4 other swim schools than I did with Swim Synergy. read more

Krista is AMAZING! The self confidence both my boys have gained both in and out of the water is more than we could have ever anticipated or imagined. She cares deeply about her students and creates a trust centered relationship between herself and her students. Both my boys excelled in the water from the time they could walk(10 mos) because of Krista. I believe her extensive education in child development plays a large part in her success. It was truly the best money spent!! read more

My husband works in an ER, so he's seen first hand the importance of water safety. He knew how important it was for our toddler to know what to do in the water. But our son was refusing to get his head wet and did not want to have anything to do with learning how to swim. He can be so stubborn. We first tried the standard group lesson at our local rec center and it was a disaster. Our son grew more resistant and continued to refuse to even get his head wet. My husband then did some research and thank goodness found Krista at Swim Synergy. She is a Swimming Whisperer! I was doubtful that in 15-minute lessons our son would learn anything. Boy was I wrong! In about four weeks our son was jumping off the diving board and could swim across the pool! He knows now how to keep safe in the water. She taught him how to always get into a float position on his back should he ever fall into the water by mistake. He not only knows how to be safe in the water, but now he LOVES swimming! Krista's demeanor with kids is powerful. Her care and attention is worth every penny. I cannot say enough about how amazing her lessons are. He learned more in one month with Krista than he would have in a year of group lessons at the rec center. It is worth it! Do it!! read more

When I first spoke to Krista at Swim Synergy I was skeptical - there was no way she would be able to get my 2-1/2 yr old twins to swim independently across the pool. One of them is a scaredy-cat and the other runs and jumps in without thinking. My daughter who is (fearless) accelerated very quickly in lessons. She was stubborn at times with floating; however, with encouragement and reassurance from her instructor she willingly worked on skills that she was less excited about . Krista was very knowledgeable, patient and friendly and helped Hanna calm down soon enough. Once Hanna realized that she had skill on top of confidence, she WAS able to swim all the way across the pool. I was astounded!! No floaties, no arm bands! My son who is (very cautious) was hesitant at first and required a little more time to master the skills, but Krista took her time earning his trust and making him feel safe. I was amazed at how he overcame his fear of the water, became a competent swimmer, and now happily swims for hours with his sister in our pool. I have had friends who put their kids in other programs but their kids STILL can't swim! I can't recommend this highly enough! I do not believe that any child is ever drown proof, but the peace of mind that comes along with having to watch not one but two active toddlers around the water is well worth the investment. read more
