I felt every instructor truly cared about the well being and growth for every child. I was a little skeptical at first with group swim lesson, but once I realized groups Lessons was great for challenging and motivating others to be their best self; I was sold. I have a 3 year old, 5 year old(Autism) and 7 year old; they all had sessions together in different groups. Liam did a great job with my 5 year old with Autism; he did not want to put his head in the water, but Liam was so patient and willing to want to help my son. It definitely touched my heart. This was great experience; I saw huge improvements with every child. Thank you Joanie, Tricia and Liam for making this wonderful experience so great!!!

We relocated from San Francisco to San Diego and moved into a home with a pool, so making sure our kids were safe around water was one of my top priorities. I actually scheduled swim lessons for our daughter, Emmy, with Krista before we even moved here! Emmy started lessons when she was 2, continued again the next summer at 3, and this past summer our son Hayes joined in at just 1.5 years old. Krista has such a gift with young children -- she's patient (yet firm), calm, and knows exactly how to make them feel comfortable and confident in the water. We've seen incredible progress each summer. Both kids have not only learned essential water safety skills, but they also love being in the pool now. The peace of mind knowing my young children are safe around water is truly priceless, and it makes living in Southern California (and being around so much water) so much less stressful. Swim Synergy has been such a wonderful experience for our family, and we're already looking forward to lessons again next summer!

When We first stated with Elly, she committed to teaching private swimming lessons for $45/hour at our pool. She did this 4 times and then said she couldn't do it anymore and we would have to come to her pool. This was strange because she advertises herself as a mobile swim coach that will come to you. Since we started with her, we decided to just go to her pool. You would think that her pricing would change since she was no longer coming to our pool and we were driving to her, but it didn't. We noticed that she was NEVER on time for our set swimming lesson. She was always 5-10 minute late to start the lesson, which become very frustrating. Mostly because she wouldn't give you the full 30 minutes you paid for. She'd cut the lesson short 5-10 minutes early to start her next lesson! When I asked her about this she become confrontational and defensive, as opposed to apologetic. I noticed she would engage in long conversations with other parents during the time I was paying her to teach my daughter! I honestly couldn't believe this. When someone pays you for a private lesson, you focus your time and attention to what they're paying you to do. Every lesson I noticed she would be talking to other parents for 5 minutes minimum during our swim lesson. I kept giving her another chance and trying to let it go since my daughter liked her. But at the end of the day, it was so professional and just NOT worth it. There are so many other swim instructors in San Diego, don't waste your time or money with this scatter brain.

It's truly incredible what she can do in 10 weeks. My daughter who was just under 3 when she started, is usually very shy and reserved with others. She's never opened up so quickly to anyone as she has to Ms. Nikki and within the first couple days, she was comfortable in her arms. Everything from the teaching model to the environment is so thoughtful and effective. I wanted something to teach my kids water safety without the tears and was thrilled to find Swim Synergy. My experience was that we were matched with two instructors, both retired men, and the first came and gave one lesson before deciding our location did not work for him, and the other cancelled on the series of lessons a few days before they started. This has wasted about a six weeks of my time in terms of my goal of improving my son's swimming ability before swim camp. I would be wary of depending on this service, especially if you live north of the 78. I will say all my experiences with the Sunsational administration have been positive and cordial, and they did issue me a full refund.
