So since we are staying here and we can see Swim from our balcony, why not give them a try. First, the calamari is the bomb. So light and crispy, perfectly cooked, and the mandarin orange slices are an interesting and tasty addition. The tuna chiccarones are a must try, tasty little balls of sweet and sour tuna with creamy avocado and jalapeño slices. Delish. Shrimp tacos are also highly recommended. Cocktails are also spot on. Great swim up bar too if you're into that sort of thing.

When we arrived they had a great live band playing cover music which was awesome. We really enjoyed that. The food was good. Fresh yes, needed seasoning. The chips and salsa was different but really good with cucumber and pineapple. The reason for the 3 star is the price - drinks and food waaaay over priced and service took a long time to deliver shrimp tacos and beef tacos.

My family of six had lunch at Swim Bar. We all enjoyed our food and drinks. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed sitting poolside for lunch. I'd go back.

I wish I had remembered to take more pictures, but my review is based on the shrimp cocktail, fish tacos and the kids burger sliders. The fish tacos were pretty "thirsty" as they didn't have as much meat as the picture on their yelp shows... and the sliders although the taste was pretty good were super hard! The bread and meat felt overdone. As for the shrimp cocktail it was really great when it came to taste, it was just sad seeing that they only gave about 6 shrimp and they were basically halves. I'd come back for the ambiance though, I loved the little set up and obviously the convenience of it being poolside.

Good vibes. Like Scottsdale Arizona type resort. Chill trendy music pool side swim up bar $ drinks w ocean breeze.

Good food. Check out the menu. Swim Poop Bar feels like a Scottsdale Arizona. Plus the ocean. Ha. Check it out if you need a place to chill tan drink and tan.

This place is the cutest coziest atmosphere. I love that they have a live DJ for the past three nights we been here. There are a few flat screen TVs to look at if you are interested in sports. This is a review from the two times of eating here. There is a huge selection from the from the drink menu I had. "Sex on the beach" it tasted very delicious and it was made not too sugary and not too watered down. The guacamole/salsa and homemade chips are good. However the guacamole lacked a lot of flavor. The salsa was too spicy for me and I do eat a lot of spicy food. The homemade chips were very good and crunchy. The piña colada we got had a very odd taste. There was cinnamon on top of it which I have never ever heard or seen that on that drink before. The drink was not cold either. The burger my husband had was very delicious. He cleaned off his plate. My chicken fingers were tasty but it was over done and there was way too much breading and not enough chicken. The fries were mediocre. Nothing special. The service was good the both times we went. Our food arrived at perfect timing and our waiter made sure we were doing okay each time.

Great ambience, during the day you have a perfect size Pool with a very complete bar, later in the evening you have a full restaurant with an interesting menu, local favorites, exotic dishes, you name it, at night you have live music or nice dj set, every Thursday is Latin Nights with changing Dinner creations from different countries... awesome lighting and decoration...

The beet salad is delicious! Served with this extra flair not commonly found.

The setting itself is really lovely; an old school with an interior courtyard, turned into simple but warm rooms to stay at. Every time the rooms have been impeccably clean and I love that you just use a code to get in and out. The javelina pillow on the bed is also so comforting and cute! The gift shop is fantastic if you want to support local makers and get some unique gifts for yourself or others, many with a strong emphasis on the Sonoran Desert. Every gift I've purchased here has been a huge hit with the recipients. And the staff? Lovely. All of them are friendly and attentive, even the 4-legged one! These folks genuinely seem to enjoy where they work and get along with their coworkers. The one hit or miss with this place is the food. I've had some great meals and I've had some lackluster ones. But I appreciate the complimentary daily brewed coffee from Curley's from 7-11am (I think those are the hours!). And if you prefer something a little fancier, then visit Curley's, a 2 minute walk around the corner, and while you're there, treat yourself to one of their delicious pastries.

The ambience is good, similar to a small Buffalo Wild Wings. The service is excellent. Kudos to Erik and Mario, most lately, who've attended to us most lately. But we stop in mostly for some American/Mexican style food. Skip: The Pizza. It's not tossed here. Nuf Said. Takeout? Always a disappointment. In full disclosure, we only did it once. Maybe's: The Wings. I asked Erick if could get Wings naked with Parmesan. They were plentiful, meaty and liberally coated with Parmesan. I've ordered the same since, and they were good, but not quite the same. I suppose experiences depend on the employees that shift. The Onion Rings: The Rings aren't made in-house. They're frozen, in exact shapes. The Best: The Guacamole Burger is excellent. There's something about Sonoran Beef even when made Medium to Well (not our preference). But the Burger is constructed well with just the right amount of Guac. Arrachera Quesadillas: These Big Flour Tortilla Diamonds are filled with Monterey Jack Cheese and very tender, small cubes of Carne Asada. The Guac Burger and Quesadillas are a sure thing. Btw, the Fries that normally accompany the Burgers are definitely sliced in-house with skins, and are hot and seasoned well We recommend paying tabs with a card or with pesos while the exchange rate is favorable Typically, our food and 2-3 glasses of wine =$US38
