Much better experience this time around! I ordered a Waikiki w/lime and it was perfect. Service was faster than my previous experience as well.

1st time SWIG experience and I cannot wait to go back! Already thinking of the next flavor to try!

Fun thing to try in the Houston area but don't go out of your way. We ordered for kids size sodas all of them were good but nothing better than the dirty sodas I make at home! We also had the pretzel bites which were buttery and tasty. The reason for three star review is because of the staff/ambiance. We went inside because we wanted to have a moment to look at the menu instead of holding up the drive through. We ordered at the counter and everyone working there was super friendly and nice, but my issue has to do with the seating area. There were about ten seats in the building and ALL of them were taken up by Swig workers. I'm not sure what exactly they were doing, but it was like they were running a full on office and onboarding event out of the front of the house. One lady who appeared to be a manager had her bag on a chair, my mom asked to have the chair to sit, and the woman looked soooooooo mad about this. I understand that everyone needs a space to do their work but this was so bizarre and honestly a hostile environment towards customers. Also they need to add some outdoor seating or benches!

The menu here has a drink combo for every taste bud! There were so many options I didn't know which to choose from! My low rating isn't due to the product, it's because it took over 30 minutes to put in my order and receive it-20 of which was me waiting at the counter for someone to take my order. The workers were definitely rushing to make the drinks, so much to where my lid wasn't put on properly and some of my drink end of spilling all over my clothes. I ordered the Cherry Bomb and some cinnamon sugar pretzel bites. Both items were pretty mediocre, but still good in taste and flavor. I really liked that the pretzel bites came with icing. The store had great seating if you decide to go as a large group, although it was smaller inside. If I decide to come back, it'll be to try other drink combos, but I find it hard justifying the long travel to come back to service that wasn't the best.

Endless Summer

We learned that Houston (kind of) finally had a Swig earlier this week and within 5 minutes we were in the car making the 40 minute ride on up. Our Swig experience was pretty much identical to a few visits we had in Utah last week. It was a Mountain Dew-based Endless Summer for me and a Coke Zero-based The Founder for her, together with a round of pretzels. The service was extremely friendly and if the cars in the lot were any indicator, management was in town from Utah to get this store running. Would I drive 40 minutes for this again? Probably not. But I'm convinced a Swig could thrive in the loop. Who doesn't need a cold drink in this weather? Next time I am in the outskirts of Spring (I think), I'll surely stop by.

Such a cute concept. Super cheap and so many fun options to choose from. Definitely a new favorite!

I was SO excited for this business to open that I had today's date saved in my calendar. I LOVE Dr Pepper & all the menu options they have for enhancing it so I was really looking forward to this. Unfortunately, I just didn't feel like it lived up to the hype. I will say all of the employees were extremely nice & helpful. Since today was the grand opening, lines were extremely long and business was booming. They were handing out take home menus & free cookies which I really appreciated, along with a free drink. I think that was a really cool thing for the business to do, especially for three days straight and they were slammed. I just felt like the actual drinks themselves fell short. I ordered a Raspberry Dream & my husband ordered a Beach Babe. At the window, he got his drink & they gave me the wrong one. They quickly corrected it and even let me keep the wrong one so we actually got to try all three. They just didn't taste much different than regular Dr. Peppers. I will say that the Beach Babe was really good & very unique so I was impressed with that. It's just the Dr. Pepper is what I was most excited for so that bummed me out. We came back today with the intention of paying for our drinks to try something new, but we were still able to try them for free. My husband ordered the Founder & I had the Texas Tab. While mine was good, I still think that I've had better at other places. My husband got literal Diet Coke and that's it. It doesn't taste like there's anything in it other than regular soda. It was supposed to have coconut cream even & it doesn't look creamy at all. When we got to the window for our drinks I noticed they had Coffee Mate Coconut Creamer lined up & were unloading bags of Sonic Ice. That just kind of surprised me since I thought they were supposed to be really unique & special and it seems like something I could do at home myself. I'll definitely come back to try again in a few weeks when they've had time to get adjusted and aren't so slammed.

Finally tried Swig after passing it up with the lines wrapped around the building. I can tell you one thing, the driveway is skinty , lol. Be careful with your tires. The young ladies did a great job with their service. Kinda reminds me of Chick-fil-A the way they were standing outside moving the cars along. Make sure you study the menu. It can be a bit overwhelming but I think once you get it, it'll be ok. We tried the beach bum. It was really good. A twist on a lemonade. They also sale bags of what we call , "the good ice". I plan on trying others. If anyone knows me I will create my own drink.

But that's just more goodness compressed into a TLP. There are no birthday specials alas. But they did have some free samples of tiramisu. It was good but I had to get my favorites. J's birthday cake and the Big O. The birthday cake is thicker like brownie than some of the other chocolate cakes. I can't describe the frosting this go around because my punk kid at all the frosting off it while my attention was focused on the Big O. But the cake part was moist. As for the Big O it was Ooooohhh. There were a small set of tables to sit inside and enjoy your treats if you wanted to. We got a variety of things to share, tres leches (this is okay, a little sweet and pretty standard), tiramisu, pecan pie bar (delicious but crumbly/messy to eat), Oreo truffles and confetti truffles (my nieces and nephew absolutely loved these)! It was pretty pricey, but always happy to support local businesses!

They were out of croissants but I actually really enjoyed it on pita. The gyro sandwich was also really good. Fast and friendly service, really great prices! My sandwich was right around $8. Parking onsite. Nice interior dining space. It did seem like they were out of quite a few items on the menu but I think Hurricane Beryl might have contributed to that and is understandable. The lady we ordered with also gave us a complimentary pistachio baklava to try when we ordered their original baklava, which we thought was super nice. We will definitely go back and keep them in mind next time we need a custom cake!

I'd been to one in Houston before, but just for coffee, but I had a good experience there, so I was down to try their food. There were a ton of great sweet and savory options on the menu, so ordering was a challenge, but we ended up grabbing a pretty big combination of both types of sustenance. Savory: I ordered the breakfast burger and it was really great. Normally I feel like an egg takes away from the flavor of a burger, but that was not the case here. I'm really pleased with my choice here, despite the temptation to go with several alternatives. 5-stars. My wife ordered the soft scramble, and I'll give it this: it was most definitely the softest, most gentle collection of eggs I've ever eaten. But I think I like my rendition of scrambled eggs better. 4-stars. Sweet: Pistachio Croissant: All boxes checked. 5-stars. Snickerdoodle Cookie: I offer all of my praise for this delight. 5-stars. Gingerbread whoopie pie: It wasn't called a whoopie pie, but that's what it was. Like the snickerdoodle cookie, I'm mad I had to share this. 5-stars. Coco-nut cookie: We thought this was a chocolate coconut cookie, but it turns out it was chocolate and nuts. Knowing this information, we would have opted for one of the other, more delicious looking cookies. It was still fine though. 3.5-stars. Drinks: I ordered the dragon fruit berry concoction with my meal, and in a rare moment of weakness, I couldn't resist the maple pecan cold brew, despite ordering black coffee 99% of the time. I'm here to say I enjoyed both of them very much, but the latter did taste more like a milkshake than a coffee. 5-stars for both, but I would definitely order the dragonfruit thing again. Way to go, Common Bond. Here I thought you were just a coffee place this whole time, but your food is pretty, pretty good too.
