Was I low-key influenced by SLOMW? Maybe just a tad lol, but this Swig location was also conveniently located right next to the hotel we were staying at, so I just HAD to stop by (on our journey home)..and boyyy did it not disappoint. The fam & I have never had a "dirty soda" before, so this was an exciting foodie venture for sure! I love how the customizable drinks made by mixing sodas (like our beloved Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, & Sprite) with flavored syrups, creams, and fruit purees ~ creates such a unique concoction. No wonder it's been met with such popularity & viral success. I noticed that the store had a drive thru, which was cool..but we went inside instead for the full experience & to check out the ambience. The decor was simple, with wood paneling and drink pics displayed on the wall. There were several tables to sit at, if you decided to hang out & enjoy your drink. The staff was super friendly, helping us choose the perfect drink (because the diverse menu can be a bit overwhelming..sooo many good choices to chose from) ~ based on our likes & preferences. In the end, our family of 4 settled with 3 drinks to share. A cherry bomb for me, cuz I love Pepsi + Cherry + Coconut + Vanilla cream. It's was sooo GOOD! My hubs opt'd for something more tropical ~ so he went with the Waikiki, which is Coke + Pineapple + Coconut cream. It's was good & refreshing, but not my fav of our 3..even tho I'm a huge pina colada lover. Lastly, my daughter wanted to change it up a bit and get something with Dr. Pepper, so she chose the Texas Tab ~ which is Dr. Pepper + Vanilla + Coconut cream. She loved it and it was prolly my 2nd fav, after my Cherry Bomb. I was too focused on the drinks that I didn't notice that they had some sweet goodies (cookies) on the menu too. I totally would have tried the sugar cookie. The menu also offered refresher & reviver drinks for those who prefer those water-based and/or energy drink base options instead of soda. Super bummed that the popular Utah-based "dirty soda" chain does not currently have locations in Cali, as I totally would frequent it when and if I needed a caffeine fix. :( Wells..we will just have to look forward to it on our annual visit to Utah! Stopped by Swig in Cedar City on our way to Bryce Canyon National Park -- my wife had been wanting to try it, and it definitely lived up to the hype. Food: I ordered a Sprite with cherry and passionfruit, and it was deceivingly good, it was super refreshing and flavorful. I totally understand why people love coming here; it's a fun twist on a classic drink. Service: The staff were really nice and patient, especially with us being first-timers. They took the time to explain how everything worked, which made the experience even better. Aesthetic: The space was very clean and bright, though there wasn't any indoor seating. The possibilities are endless at Swig but I'm thankful for their already curated menus with fan favorites. Tried and enjoyed Cupids Crush (seasonal) and Guava Have It. Service was friendly, prices were reasonable and the shop has a nice, clean aesthetic. Will definitely 'Swig' by the next time we're in town. read more

Before our trip my kids were talking about dirty sodas from Swig and it was conveniently next to our hotel. They open at 7:30 am, so I'm glad we got to try it on our way out. The drinks are good, but some of them are pretty sweet, so I prefer the refreshers. read more

This is a cute place that was close to our hotel so it intrigued my signficant other and I. We went to check out the menu one night and finally made it through the drive thru the next day to try it! We got the coconut cream with diet dr pepper and buttercream. It is quite sweet and tasted like 90% cream and 10% soda. As a snack, we go the 12 mini chocolate chip cookies and they are too adorable. These were also quite sweet and chilled, which were refreshing. All in all, this place is worth a try ~ read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the drinks at swig! It is a customizable soda drink shop (think mocktails). The one I went to was a drive through and someone comes to your car window to take your order. I like that it is customizable- you can either make your own drink from scratch. Or pick from their presets or adjust a preset drink. Minus one start because they made a preset drink wrong. I had ordered a drink with coconut cream and they didn't add the coconut cream. And because it was a drive through it would've been a hassle to go back all the way in line. read more

Yes, I'm one of those girls who saw this on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and when I looked up from the gas station we stopped at on our way to Duck Creek, I saw Swig across the street and knew it was divine intervention so I could finally try the coveted Swig. My sister in law and I raced over to go try this unique soda shop. We definitely don't have spots like this in Vegas, or if we do, I have no idea where any of them are. After traveling to SUU, I heard these fancy soda shoppes are a big deal in Utah because some people don't drink Starbucks / coffee (not sure about all this since soda is no better, but whatever). I decided to try it. 5/5: We got their most popular drink - The Ring King which was a Dr. Pepper with cupcake syrup, strawberry purée and vanilla cream. Sweet but very good. I'm from California and my husband and I were in Utah visiting and I had been wanting to come here for the longest time since I seen influencers post about it and how delicious it is.... So my husband made the drive while we were out there and it was alright. Not sure if it was because I was pregnant and throughout my pregnancy my a-lot of things would taste good to me or maybe because I didn't get the right drink or the best drink or what but would I come again? I Possibly would give it another shot. The customer service was not good. When my husband and I walked in they didn't welcome us in, we waited there for like 5 mins ( we were the only ones in there ) for one of the workers to ask us if we were ready to order. I wanted to like this place so much that I gave it two tries. Unfortunately, I find them overpriced and underwhelming. I tried one of their specialty drinks both times, neither tasted particularly good. The energy mountain man was actually not good at all and cost more that a good burger. I found the sugar cookie to be peculiar in that it was served cold. Like refrigerator cold. It was too sweet to eat. Then it basically disintegrated at room temperature. Final nail was the abysmal failure on the ultra straight forward coke with fresh lime. For $3 I got 32 oz of Coke and a quarter of a lime cut in half and not squeezed. Why even bother. All three soda shops closer to SUU are by far producing better drinks. For less $$ read more

They have great drink options and you can also customize your own drink. They also have great treats! However, the customer service isn't all that great. I've gone through both the drive thru and the lobby. The service in the drive thru is really good, but when you go into the lobby it's quite the opposite. I've walked in several times and the employees kind of ignored that I even walked in. There were at least 2 people just standing there and they didn't walk over to help until one of the other employees told them to. Every time I'm in town I will try to make it to this place a few times. So tasty! My favorite is The Founder and a pink sugar cookie.

This place is awesome but it seems like they close their store front earlier than the posted hours.

Soooo happy to have a Swig in Cedar City!!!! We came on both Friday & Saturday for their grand opening! Gave us an opportunity to try some drinks that we hadn't tried before. My new love is the Daisy Duke with the Bloody Wild as a close 2nd! Everyone was super friendly! And even though the line went clear down to the hotel, it moved really fast! I really hope they do so well that they end up putting another location on the north side of Cedar! Gotta support those CVHS Falcons too!!! read more
