I just wanted to let them know that their milk was about to expire and instead of saying that we will let someone know they totally ignored me. When I repeated what I said the cashier and helper both became agitated that I had interrupted their conversation and became defensive. I was then asked if I wanted to talk to the manager and I said yes. There was a employee walking towards the register so I assumed that he may be the manager so I asked them if he was the manager but responded saying no he was just some young boy. He was a man with a beard. Then the cashier asked if I was going to wait for the manager or just be a coward and leave which is very aggressive and mean. I said I waiting. So, let's talk about the Hit-n-Run (man...still a little thrown off). This is not a shiny fancy new convenience store. It's rather grimy. The people behind the counter are never sour, but rarely sweet. They have boudin links in a warmer on the counter. I'm very tempted to try one but also nervous because, as I said, grimy. There are often people hanging around inside just talking. It doesn't feel unsafe to me, but some may be turned off by the casual streetcorner-esque atmosphere. Chevron is the gas brand and they are usually more expensive than the Shell station across the street. *writers note: I do not participate in, nor condone, robbery of any kind. Unless you count stealing hearts...wait, I don't do that either. Tried. Failed. Didn't even get the t-shirt.

Thanks to Joel for adding this listing…read more On a recent night I found myself driving on I-12 in need of fuel. A quick search of Yelp led me here so I exited and pulled up to the pumps. The first thing I noticed was that all of the other customers were staring ta me while I fueled up. I wasn't dressed in lavish clothing nor was in a fancy car. I can't quite put my finger on it, but they couldn't take their eyes off of me. Other than the odd looks, fueling up my car was uneventful. The pumps were typical of a Chevron and there were several, easy to access rows of pumps. Inside I got the same odd look from the cashier, but she was very friendly. The store was stocked with typical convenience store items including the much sought after spicy jerky, spicy peanuts and spicy pickles. If you are headed through Livingston and need some fuel, this is as good a place as any. I do wish I could figure out why I got so many looks though.
