I was looking for a couple of hair products and combs for braiding ; this store has great potential! It is very organized and clean. They have a wide selection of braid hair (pre-stretch, extra long, solid color, ombré with natural and other colors, etc.) I wish I took pictures but I was in awe!! They also sell hair dye & bleach. I was pleased to see this because my usual beauty supply stores don't carry bleach, developer, or colorful hair dye so I also have to make seperste trip to Sally's. On the other hand, they don't have a huge inventory as fair as hair products like gel, conditioner, curling cream, etc. --I would say on average there were only 3-6 items in stock The employee present was extremely kind, greeted everyone as soon as they entered the store, and offered her assistance. She helped me get signed up for their rewards system which I LOVEEEE because if you shop at a beauty supply frequently (at least multiple times throughout there year), you know how much money is spent to invest in hair/beauty maintenance. It's a big plus to get discounts/rewards after accumulating enough points I will definite be back now that I know they have so many braid hair & hair dye options! I hope they are able to expand and get more products/stock in the near future too. I can only imagine it being a bit tough being new in a heavily saturated market but I recommend stopping by here and seeing what they have to offer!

Curated by Abbie, her passion is evident throughout the business, starting with those who support LA Laserderm. No matter how crazy the phones ring off the hook, Shelley makes everyone with whom she interacts feel like they're the only one around. Keisha put me SO at ease, addressing all my concerns before exploring injectables for the first time. Val is the best to ever do it on the laser. She is extremely thorough, patient, and kind. I've had laser treatments in the past. I've never experienced this level of care with another technician. I've recently had the pleasure of working with Sarah, the newest addition to the team. My skin GLOWS and feels so light after her hydrafacials. Abbie has created something truly special here. Whoever you work with, you're guaranteed a remarkable experience that goes far beyond a treatment. Incredibly, I know mine is not an outlier. My experience is the rule, not the exception. I have immense gratitude for this team and their love, passion, and dedication.

So, using the form…read moreon their website I sent a message on 9/10 that included to my phone and email asking if they treat this condition. On 9/11 the practice manager, Sandra, responded saying "We do treat Eczema. Have you been here before?" I replied to her email saying "I have not been there before. Do you accept [name of health insurance], if you do I would like to make an appointment at the Veteran's Blvd. Denham Springs location" On 9/12 at 1:15pm she replies with just "Yes we do." At this point, I am completely baffled at this bizarre back-and-forth email exchange, because she could have just picked up the phone to call me or delegate a staff member to call me. I received another message from the practice manager at 2:29pm saying "I can put you in at 1:00 or 1:50 on Tuesday 9/16 with Dr. [name omitted] at the Denham office." On 9/12 at 3:11pm I replied, "I can do 9/16 at 1:50pm. I found the new patient forms on the website and will complete them. Thanks so much." I did not get a message back from her confirming the appointment being scheduled. On Monday 9/15 at 10:46am I sent an email asking "Is my appointment time of 1:50pm on 9/16 confirmed? I chose one of the two available times, and am waiting for confirmation from your office." At 11:50am I still had not received a confirmation email from the manager and had not received a appointment reminder call from the practice and had a really bad feeling about the entire situation, so I picked up the phone and called them. The receptionist was very pleasant. I explained that I had been corresponding back and forth with Sandra and on Friday 9/12 she had offered me a choice of appointment times for tomorrow, I responded on Friday and sent a second confirmation request message this morning. I explained that I chose a time and never received a reply from Sandra confirming that it was, in fact, scheduled. The receptionist checked the system and confirmed that I was not anywhere in the schedule for 9/16! I would have wasted my time driving out there from my earlier appointment for the dermatology appointment that was not even scheduled! On 9/15 at 12:06pm I sent a message to Sandra saying "Never mind, I am no longer interested in seeing one of the doctors....[message snipped]...I just spoke to one of your reps on the phone who confirmed that my name is not in the appointment slot on the schedule." The entire email exchanged was unprofessional, as the right thing to do when they received my first message would have been to phone me and say, "yes, we treat eczema and we accept your insurance...would you like to make an appointment?" Now I know why they are the only dermatology clinic in the area with appointments open in September while all the other clinics are booked through late October to December! Based on my experience with them, I do not recommend this dermatology clinic.
