For $10, I got a piece of fried fish, four sides ( potato salad, Mac & cheese, sweet peas, and dirty rice), two slices of white bread, cake, and a can soda. I got my money's worth. They cook to order so my food was hot and fresh. Everything was delicious. The establishment was very clean and customer service was top notch. Thanks to Joel for adding this listing…read more On a recent night I found myself driving on I-12 in need of fuel. A quick search of Yelp led me here so I exited and pulled up to the pumps. The first thing I noticed was that all of the other customers were staring ta me while I fueled up. I wasn't dressed in lavish clothing nor was in a fancy car. I can't quite put my finger on it, but they couldn't take their eyes off of me. Other than the odd looks, fueling up my car was uneventful. The pumps were typical of a Chevron and there were several, easy to access rows of pumps. Inside I got the same odd look from the cashier, but she was very friendly. The store was stocked with typical convenience store items including the much sought after spicy jerky, spicy peanuts and spicy pickles. If you are headed through Livingston and need some fuel, this is as good a place as any. I do wish I could figure out why I got so many looks though.

The customer service is horrible. They do have good deals from time to time but they have lost my…read morebusiness thanks to the attitude of the cashiers and manager. I just wanted to let them know that their milk was about to expire and instead of saying that we will let someone know they totally ignored me. When I repeated what I said the cashier and helper both became agitated that I had interrupted their conversation and became defensive. I was then asked if I wanted to talk to the manager and I said yes. There was a employee walking towards the register so I assumed that he may be the manager so I asked them if he was the manager but responded saying no he was just some young boy. He was a man with a beard. Then the cashier asked if I was going to wait for the manager or just be a coward and leave which is very aggressive and mean. I said I waiting. I paid for my groceries and the cashier threw the receipt at me. I did say a choice word too her and the manager showed up with a customer is always wrong attitude. When I realized this was pointless I left. After 30 plus years of shopping here, our family is done with these folks. Great job !

I am…read morenot sure if the biscuits come out of a can or what, but they do SOMETHING to them that makes them wonderful. Soft, flaky, salty, hot on the inside! Perfect way to start a morning. I always get bacon and cheese on mine. The bacon is crispy and the cheese melts a bit to stick on the foil its wrapped in. I'd take a picture, but the thing never lasts long enough. One is plenty. I obsess on the biscuits, but there are eggs, grits, sausage--a great place for a takeaway breakfast, or a full meal in styrofoam. (There is ONE small table and chairs inside, but most folks are on their way to BR and don't linger.) The oriental owners are delightful. When Steve sees you twice, he already knows what your 'usual' is. They have barbecue for lunch--although I've not tried it. But the smell of the lunch cooking as you walk in for breakfast only makes you hungrier. True story: I was fretting to Steve over gaining weight with his breakfast. Not missing a beat he said: "Big Man! When I started here I was big like you. Start eating biscuit every day. Now I am little man!" Just a marketing genius.. They have very nice personalities and offer to help. They keep the store clean and the lines moving. The employees also make small talk and make you feel comfortable.
