I have never encountered somebody so utterly rude in the south in my entire lifetime. I've been here for a 34, but got here Friday around 4:00 p.m. & won't be leaving until Monday at 7:00 a.m., not to mention I spent probably close to $150 so far. I came in to use the restroom, she was hunched over the ice cream freezer on her phone and I said "good evening ma'am" as she just sat there and flat out IGNORED me. after I use the restroom I walked out and said "you guys have been great, thank you for everything!' she says "sir?" so I repeated myself, just to be ignored again. guess I'm not the right 'shade' around here, according to her. Big lot, nice and quiet. been here for 3 days, and it never got over half full. no potholes, nice even parking, easy in and out. Food is off the RIP! I ordered from the little diner inside a total of three times, and all the different employees were out there whipping up some good old down south fare. I had a shrimp po' boy and a crawfish pie, the next morning I had a breakfast bowl, that was grits, scrambled eggs, cheese, and sausage, and for supper I had the 1/2 & 1/2 fish/shrimp combo plate. phenomenal. Shower was only $5. I don't complain about showers, even though there was a dying water bug next to the drain, and the water didn't get super super hot, it was still a nice warm clean shower. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE here, except for the exception of that graveyard shift woman who apparently doesn't like light-skinned people, that would actually drive me to not even come back here, were super super nice. just like I'm used to. They have beer, they have hard liquor, and truckers and law enforcement get 1 free coffee and 1 free 20 oz fountain drink everyday, all you have to do is sign a log! they also have a casino and a bar, but surprisingly enough I didn't go inside, but the night is still young! Id come back during the week, but if it's late on a Saturday night, I'll Just keep on truckin. Don't want to inconvenience anybody with my presence unless I can manage to get a darker tan.

Visiting today for myself was a great experience. I'll be honest I don't know how much groceries usually cost because I have don't often to make groceries. I usually make the terrible mistake of going to the store every time I wanna cook. The prices seemed good. I was able to get food to cook dinner 3 times (turkey wings, 5 pounds of ground beef, red bean sausage, peppers, onions), sushi( made in house, I made the terrible mistake of going to the grocery store, hungry), some disposables and a few snacks for about $80. The store was very clean. very organized. lots of local products to choose from in addition to the big named stuff you are used to.

The customer service is horrible. They do have good deals from time to time but they have lost my…read morebusiness thanks to the attitude of the cashiers and manager. I just wanted to let them know that their milk was about to expire and instead of saying that we will let someone know they totally ignored me. When I repeated what I said the cashier and helper both became agitated that I had interrupted their conversation and became defensive. I was then asked if I wanted to talk to the manager and I said yes. There was a employee walking towards the register so I assumed that he may be the manager so I asked them if he was the manager but responded saying no he was just some young boy. He was a man with a beard. Then the cashier asked if I was going to wait for the manager or just be a coward and leave which is very aggressive and mean. I said I waiting. I paid for my groceries and the cashier threw the receipt at me. I did say a choice word too her and the manager showed up with a customer is always wrong attitude. When I realized this was pointless I left. After 30 plus years of shopping here, our family is done with these folks. Great job !
