Find this store thanks to Yelp. Many advantages on this very clean and tidy laundromat. You have a coffee shop conveniently located next to the store. The detergent- soap machine offers little one load packages for only $1,00. There is change available inside the store for quarters and the attendant is very nice and hospitable. On the cons it's a little on the pricey side. The small machines per load are $3,00 and for the Extra large machines $5,50. The dryer cost 0,25 per every 6 minutes (which is the highest I seemed comparing with Miami Beach). Parking available in the area read more

Was good for what I needed but there were termites flying around me while I was trying to fold my laundry. read more

Swifty Laundromat - Laundromat Near Me - Hallandale Beach, Florida

Staff were very rude and only happy and giggly when they were on their phones. The owner is a pretty nice guy.

I am new to the area and have not used a laundromat in years. I had a couple big items that would not fit in home washer. I went to this laundromat because it was close by. I was extremely impressed with how clean it was. It was early on a weekend morning so not many people. There was an attendant who was very friendly and helpful. It is completely open to the outside but I still chose to wear my mask since I work at the hospital and prefer to protect others and myself. The only drawback was the price. A large washer was $6 and the small washer was $3.50. Dryer is $0.25 for 6 mins. Again I have not been to a laundromat in years so maybe this is the going rate. I have nothing to compare it to. If you happen to need laundry soap, softener, or dryer sheets it's all available from a dispensing machine there for $1 each. Each item covers 1 load. I am very germaphobic so by saying I will definitely return when needed for a large load again is saying a lot from me. Highly recommend this place! read more

Soup center empty, just lost couple bucks, no employees, terrible place, avoid that dollar scam place, nothing good here

Clean, lots of washers and dryers and a Dunkin' Donuts across the street! The amazing thing is the wash is fast and the dryer is faster. Amazingly fast. We had jeans, a nice cotton shirt and socks (yes, all together because I didn't have any more quarters) and they dried in 18 minutes (at home it's more like 40!) I was going to take out the nice shirt to hang it up but everything was dry and the shirt wasn't wrinkled! How can that happen? We would definitely come back if we needed to wash clothes again in Ft. Lauderdale! Great place! read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM STAFF EVER! While I had many great experiences from the owners when I was with my daughter visiting the place, the customer service from other personnel working there is terrible. Background: This laundromat only have coins (no credit card accepted) and I had a 20 that did not work in the machine. Incident:  I went to the office that was open hoping to get some customer service. I knocked on the door. The women yelled, "You can't go there."  I explained that my 20 did not work for change and I needed change and I saw no sign of who to contact. Additionally,  I had knocked on the door when I had a similar problem. She was rude and nasty and stated,"I am not going to argue with you."   Additional problems. There are very few baskets there, which makes it problematic  for your laundry and the bathroom is never open to use to wash my hands after using detergent. Please note that the place is much more expensive that another laundry mat in Hallandale beach blvd near the I-95 it takes credit cards, is clean, and air conditioned. In conclusion, lousy customer service costs you customers. read more

This Swifty is a nice medium sized open air laundromat. This location happened to be the closest to where I lived at the time so I would be here weekly/biweekly for my laundering needs. Oddly enough, my place has a washer, but no dryer. So I can only speak for the dryers here. They recently changed out the dryers and about doubled the number of them. This is helpful for weekends when it is busier. I've never really dealt with the attendants, but my bf did once when the machine ate our money. The attendant was reeeaally reluctant to cough up a few quarters after my bf explained the dryer had not dried our clothes with a full $1 worth of quarters. The attendant eventually did give us our money back. Honestly, other than that encounter I hardly would see an attendant around. A regular sized load will cost you 75 cents to dry and a fuller load (esp towels, jeans, or comforters) will need $1.00. The location is nice because you can easily walk to Dunkin Donuts or McDonalds while you wait. The area is clean and the folding tables were pretty clean as well. Parking is a bit limited, though. I guess this is a place you can't really enjoy going to, but it's a necessity for clean underwear. read more

My wife and I tried this place to wash our bedding, since our apartment's washer and dryer are teeny-tiny. Only four other people were there on a Sunday morning, plenty of open washers and dryers of all sizes. We snagged two of the biggest washers for $4.75 each. Not a horrible price for the amount of clothes, sheets, and blankets we were able to put in, which would have amounted to probably 5 or 6 loads at home. This place is clean, well-lit, plenty of fans (no ac, but all the doors were open with a nice breeze blowing through). The fish decor is random and maybe tacky, but it's cute and I can appreciate it. The gentleman overseeing the place was helpful when we couldn't find the change machine. We are lucky that it is only 81 out right now after a south florida cold front swept all the humidity away; I could imagine that it might get a little stuffy here during the stickier months. But I suppose that comes with the territory of a laundromat. Overall, one of the cleanest and well-maintained places I've done laundry in public. read more

Swifty redeem themselves after turning my whites pink three times in a row they finally admitted to their mistake and gave me three free washers and dry regardless of size. Now I continue to use them and they did an excellent job. Romelia is the best as far as washing goes. Do not let the old lady touch your laundry. read more

Showed up at 2:30 pm for fluff and fold. Prices were reasonable. $1 a pound with no pound minimum. Brought in 2 bags I specifically said I wanted ran and folded separate.... Didn't happen... And I had to come back the next day to get my stuff. So overall average. Good location. Easy parking... Quickish service....cheap prices.... Bad communication. read more

This is a great family owned business. They were nice and polite to me. The machines did eat my money but they refunded it. They even helped me stuff my over sized blankets into their washers. The place is clean and well maintained. The only suggestion I have is if they would seating indoors as it would be more comfortable esp during the summer time. read more

Tons of washers and dryers. $1.75 for a wash and roughly $0.75 for the dryer. Convenient location but not enough parking. You can be in and out of here in just over an hour. Dunkin' Donuts and McDonald's right next door as well. Very busy on weekends especially in the morning and early afternoon. read more

Nice clean place to wash huge comforters. Super load machines are $5 and are always working. Dryers could be a tad longer, you only get six minutes per .25 but overall a good recommendation for your oversize laundry needs. A plus is it has a Dunkin donuts next door to kill time. read more

One of the worst experience I have ever had the gentlemen who works there who is an older Haitian old man is very rude the washer we were using was t working and he was hurrying us up to move the clothes and then start cursing at us saying F*** you. Saying to watch what is going to happen. NO CUSTOMER service experience at all. I don't recommend anyone to come here unless you want to get treated like a piece of crap. This place is horrible. read more

First and last time here! Worst customer service ever! I told the attendant that my machine wasn't working after I put in $4 and she's like no you only put in $2. I'm like ma'am, I'm sure I can count and can read. I just changed $20 and I know what I put in and she kept insisting that I was lying and tried to play her over. Really? For $2? Will not return! Rather go further down the road on Hallandale. read more

Lot's of machines, which are very quick and efficient, especially the dryers. Has everything you need to do laundry and it's 24 hours. Great combo. read more

ok this info is strictly informative for those of us that do not have laundry facilities at home. this swifty is one of the smallest, with only 5 super capacity washers but here is the positive. the dryers are super hot, its open and airy, great location for a little r&r and the best thing is dunkin donuts is right across the street. what does that mean you say? free wi-fi!!! yep while your clothes is washing/drying you can actually get work done or do like id do, YELP!!!! read more

Just an update - from out of town staying in Halladale for a couple of months - found this place online - went down there on Wednesday night - plenty of washer sand dryers available - clean place - open air and well lighted - popped 8 lbs of laundry in a washer for $1.75 - ran them through the dryer for two sessions costing $0.50 total - checked them -- felt just a tad moist and hit them with another quarter - came out warm and toasty. Folded them and was out of there in an hour. Didn't even check out the Dunkin Donuts just across the street (on same side of Biscayne as the Laundromat). Parking is minimal but behind the Dunkin is more parking. read more

Old lady running the place is as mean as can be. I told her I lost some of my money in the machine & she didn't believe me. She was fighting me over $1.25. In the end she did give me back my money, but she wasn't happy about it. Won't be going back. read more
