Therese has taught me how to take control of him using positive methods. We now walk weekly through busy parks and farmers markets with many other dogs and he is a perfect gentleman. At dogs unlimited, the classes are small and the trainers work with you and your dog to fix you and your dogs individual quirks. The shop is very clean and a perfect size. It offers air conditioning for those hot days. Both trainers are extremely knowledgable and offer plenty of individual attention to myself and my dog. I have purchased their private lessons for my dog, beginner class, and intermediate class. I am shocked at how well my giant doberman has responded to their methods. 2 Star - Disappointing Experience I genuinely wanted to like…read morethis company and had hoped we would have a positive experience, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. We were a returning customer to Pawfection, we enjoyed the puppy training they provided our boy. We contacted Pawfection because our now 7-year-old Goldendoodle had suddenly started urinating inside our home whenever we left. He had been house-trained his entire life, so this was a concerning and unusual change in behavior. We were looking for professional guidance to understand and address the issue. We paid approximately $900 (fee plus mileage) for an in-home session that lasted less than two hours. The session consisted largely of a PowerPoint presentation (same presentation we viewed 7 years ago) with general tips and techniques for dog behavior. The trainer assessed his urination as behavioral. He recommended we purchase a citronella collar from Amazon, an additional $70 (wasn't included in the $850 fee) to redirect the negative behavior. 2 weeks later, 14 days, our pup was diagnosed with advanced dilated cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure. Sadly, his condition progressed rapidly and we had to say goodbye to him less than a month of Pawfection coming to our home to assess his behavior. I understand that a dog trainer is not a veterinarian, nor do I expect a trainer to diagnose a medical condition. However, given the sudden change in behavior, I was disappointed with the assessment and, ultimately, the value of the service we received for the amount charged. After he passed, I reached out to the company, explained what had happened, and respectfully asked whether they would consider a partial refund given the circumstances. That request was declined. At nearly $900 for less than two hours, I expected a more individualized experience and greater value. Unfortunately, both the service and the company's response afterward left us disappointed. He was terminally ill unbeknownst to us. I have no problem paying for the trainers time spent with us, but $900 for an animal that passed away two weeks after the assessment seems morally wrong. I truly wanted to have a positive experience with Pawfection, but I walked away feeling differently.

We have a big boy, a Bernese mountain dog to be exact, and we wanted a training facility that would allow him to socialize. Not only that, the group classes help me train him with distractions, and that has helped us tremendously when we take Beau out into the world. We have already gotten so many compliments on how well behaved he is for his age. Granted, you have to put the work in. Isabella is an incredible facilitator, but ensuring Beau gets mini training sessions at home with what we've learned in our group training sessions is what has allowed Beau to soar as a pup. I truly can see the dog he will become, and that's thanks to Zoom Room. All in all, if you're looking for a place to challenge your dog and socialize them, come to Zoom Room Longwood!

I learned that a lot of the issues that need to be fixed start with the owners. I love that the training is in your home, and he really works with you to make sure you're set up for success after he leaves. I've been using a prong collar to walk Theodore because he loves to tug and pull and after one session with John I won't have to use the prong collar again! He was very friendly, informative, professional and truly understands how to speak the dogs language. Definitely recommend Bark Busters and John!!! That's when I found Natural Instincts on a Google search and decided to give it a shot. I signed up for the agility classes. For 99$ you can attend agility class either Saturday or Sunday morning for 6 sessions. The sessions expire within 12 weeks so when Pepper had to take a break because she got spayed, it was absolutely no issue. The majority of the class is focused on doing the agility course, but they also practice other things such as proper leash walking. The owner runs the class but there are always atleast 2-3 other trainers around to help. Pepper loves agility! She is a couch potato at heart but when she's at agility class she is always having a blast running and just being around dogs. A lot of obedience classes and dog day cares unfortunately discriminate against pitbulls but at Natural Instincts they are extremely bully friendly. Oh and they always have someone with a professional camera taking amazing pics of you & your dog. It's definitely nice having all these wonderful pictures of my dog (it's not like my camera isn't already full of pics of her). I have one week left from this 6 week package but I'll definitely purchase a new 6 week pass next class.

There is a lot of trees that give plenty of shade for the pups to not over heat and just in case they have a water station with bowls for the pups to drink up . First of all the price is great in my opinion. Their facility has plenty of play space and the livery room we got was large. We always want, maybe even need, to be able to check in on them. While on past stays we would look and find them pacing and awooing all night. Something about this place made them zen. They looked out the windows, climbed and snuggled in their bed. We signed up for both of them to get a bath before pick up but due to some error with their system only our little guy got his, which was sad because if we had to pick we would have picked her. For our two dogs it was $115 a day for the luxury suite. When we arrived to pick them up we expected our Dachshund to scream like he does when we come home and our Auggie to go crazy and we were so disappointed when they came up to us like okay cool, summer camp is over? Not one cry or bark, no jumping or crazy tail wags. Next time we hope to board them for training. Our dogs would have required 3 weeks and that just didn't work for us right now.
