Dad and I had the Boston Butt sandwich and it was awesome. The chef used to be the exec chef at Morton's, so it's no wonder it was yummy. Staff wasn't wearing masks , but the place was super clean. Looks like it was a well known and loved spot by the little community there. read more

We felt like we had died and went to tater tot heaven when the sandwiches came out. We luv tots and they were generously served. Sandwiches were great. Swezey's has a great staff that took good care of us. The food came out hot and ready to go. Drinks were great and they had many choices for mixed drinks as well as beer. Huge pork sandwich as well as a turkey melt were what we ate. Salad was on the menu but we decided to be meat eaters today! Don't forget to get their loaded fries or tater tots. I wish this was better than it was. First time here and service was slow. Seated right away. Drinks were ordered and the beer came out first then the rest of the drinks but, my drink which was a daiquiri came out last even after the appetizer came out. Food was ok. But, the kicker is when the check came and I saw that my kids drink was $7 when the menu said $3. The server then proceeded to argue of what she typed in or rang up. I was like could you please have some one fix this. She did. Then I asked about military discounts and she said yes then proceeded to see both my husband and my IDs. Apparently our children need to have served to receive the discount. Overall, I don't think we will come back. I was hoping it would have been better. read more

The food portions were very generous. My garlic chicken wings were so so. The pub was loud and crowded. Our friends said their drinks were watered down. It made me dock off a star. The place was clean. My favorite highlight in this place was the jukebox. The appetizer of bread and bacon cheese dip seemed delicious. Everyone ate it at our table except me. This pub is by far the best I have been to in my ENTIRE life. We were traveling through Tennessee back to Kansas and decided to stop here for lunch. Service and staff was amazing! I had the turkey Swiss BLT and with the fresh bread made daily it was amazing. There wasn't a live band in there, but that was perfectly fine because the ambiance was still very lovely, I believe a band would have made it much noisier with the sounds bouncing of the walls. We will definitely be stopping by again the next time we are in the area! :) read more

The food was delicious! My husband had the spicy ginger chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries and loved it. I ordered the pork butt based on another review with corn and wasn't disappointed. The sandwiches are HUGE, I couldn't finish mine. We made reservations for 5:30pm on a Saturday and we're seated immediately. There was live entertainment and my kids loved it, even got to perform their choreography to their favorite song so it made it even more enjoyable for us. Definitely a great local place. read more

Thanks to the recommendations from a local food group we tried Swezey's Pub last night and it is fantastic!!! We sat at the bar and really enjoyed the atmosphere and our drinks were good. They offer a nice variety of drinks and daily drink specials. We started with the bruschetta (the menu has it coming with ham but we asked for no ham). It was very good!!! Bruschetta is probably my favorite appetizer and I really enjoyed it. Someone near us ordered the Buffalo Mushroom appetizer and they looked so good so I definitely want to try them next time. My husband ordered the Spicy Ginger Chicken Sandwich with fries and a side of Horseradish Mayo. He really liked the sandwich and it was huge! He did feel that it was not spicy at all, but he still enjoyed the flavor of it. His fries were a star...they were really really good!!! The horseradish mayo was very good as well. I ordered the Chicken Philly (subbed the provolone cheese for American cheese) with a side Cesar salad. OMG y'all...it was so good!!! Easily one of the best sandwiches I have had in my life. Hubs tried mine and said I won ordering that night because it was so delicious. The Cesar salad was good, but I would definitely get fries next time. Best part for sure was the bread of the sandwiches. They get their bread from our Clarksville Silke's Old World Breads. As we all know Silke's makes the best breads and it really shows at Swezy's just how much Silke's products elevates a dish. The food was so good and they have so many choices that we want to try...although it may be impossible to not order the Chicken Philly. Portions are huge (hubs and I agree next time we will need to share a sandwich), prices are very reasonable and a good atmosphere...wonderful experience! read more

This was the best meal I have had in a long time. The beer was fabulous. Try the bourbon brew. It really tastes of bourbon. I had the dos perros and it didn't disappoint either. Yay craft beer !! On to dinner. The Philly Cheese Steak. OMG !! I have never had a more delicious sandwich in my life. Add to that lightly salted home cut fries and you are in heaven. What can I even say about this? We had a concert to go to in Nashville and wanted to eat somewhere local, but outside the city to avoid long waits/traffic. This was an absolute win in EVERY way!!! It is right off I-24, convenient to get in and out of. We had a party of 8, and they got us seated, served, and on our way in very close to an hour. And the FOOD. Y'all, it was so good. The Philly Cheesesteak was sublime and very filling. If that wasn't enough, I had a MOUND of incredible fries to fill and satisfy every crevice in my food-loving soul. My friends and I came here. The food here is so good! I had the shoulder butt sandwich which was very flavorful. It was just the right amount of tangy, citrusy, and barbecue-y and the portions were huge. I also had loaded fries, which had string fries, cheese, bacon, and chives. The meat was cooked to perfection, it was juicy, delicate, tender. It was just amazing. My friends had the fish tacos and they agreed that this place is the bomb dot com. 10/10 would 100% recommend! What a perfect place to stop for a good meal! A cute place with great food and great service. I had a burger and fries with a local beer, and my husband had a BBQ sandwich with tater tots. Both meals were delicious and there was certainly no shortage of food! In fact, the waiter brought my husband extra tater tots! I've seen a couple low reviews of this place from a while ago and I'm not sure what was happening at that time but it seems they've addressed it. My only regret is that I didn't get our waiter's name because he was great. Whether you're local or driving through like we were, I highly recommend this restaurant for a good meal. read more

I want to start off by prefacing that I have never left a poor review for any restaurant before in my life, but was so moved by awful experience here Monday that I had to leave some feed back. I came in for a quick drink while passing through. The bartender was curt and not welcoming as we sat down and looked for menus. "What do you want." Was the first thing said to us, before we even had menus and he seemed annoyed when we asked for them. I was craving a margarita and was pleased to see a top shelf "Perfect Margarita" on the menu with Patron and Grand Mariner. He asked for IDs which we obliged no problem, but the next flippant moment from him came when arms extended to take back IDs he dramatically and purposefully seeing our hands waiting dropped them in front of us and turned his back. Ok whatever, everyone has bad days especially in the industry. He was rude but whatever, we'll just get our drinks and head out. I sit back and wait for him to make our drinks. A few minutes later he catches my eye making something with scotch Chivas Regal and Sprite, I had assumed it was for someone else until I watched him salt the rim of the pint glass and hand it to me. Being pretty easy going I thought "Can't be that bad, maybe they just like a hint of smokiness to their margaritas." So I took a sip of the weirdly clear concoction that was most definitely not a margarita, and realized then that it wasn't palatable. I'll pretty much drink anything, but tequila, scotch and sprite with a salt rim was a new experience. Obviously I wouldn't recommend it, and I couldn't take more than the one sip. I was hoping to catch the bartenders attention to just order a beer instead, but he was on the phone with his back turned to us. By the time we finally got his attention my boyfriend had finished his drink and I had slid my drink with one sip gone, forward as the universal sign we were finished. He saw this, again turned his back, printed the check and dropped it in front of us aggressively for the second time. No question as to why I hadn't drank it, not even if he could get us anything else. Pretty fed up at this point, we wanted to just pay the tab and leave, but was shocked to see the $12 price tag for a butchered cocktail, WITH ZERO TAX INCLUDED. So on top of the $12 for a drink that was just made incorrectly, there was additional liquor tax. You can get a craft or classic cocktail downtown for less, made with premium liquors with tax at least partially included. Not even mentioning the fact I had obviously not enjoyed it, and the complete lack of interest from the bartender in remedying the situation in anyway. I've worked in the service industry my whole life and currently work as a bar manager and was appalled at the way this was handled. This also makes me the pretty ideal guest to have in. I'm patient, easy going to mistakes or bad days and we tip well, wanting to hook a fellow industry person up- but this was a new low. This will definitely be our final time here. read more
