Stopped by for lunch after visiting Bell Witch cave. My daughter and I each had chicken, corn casserole, corn bread. I had the greens and she had the beans. Both very good. Everyone is very friendly. Had a great visit to your town. I'll definitely stop by next time I'm down that way.

Bar B Q is delicious. Portions are really big and prices are well worth the food. Get in early because they only make so much food and don't prepare more. Once it is gone it is gone. Get the BBQ lunch plate and make sure to get the hash town casserole which was amazing!

Just trust your GPS as it takes you right there without any drama. Parking is plentiful with a row adjacent to the building as well as another row across a traffic lane. There was a handicapped space right in front of the entrance door. There is one step up to a sidewalk that runs the length of the building. I did not see a ramp but that is not the fault of the restaurant. Walking in there are several tables with seating for about 40. The ordering counter is in the rear. There is a relatively easy to follow and read menu above the counter. We were greeted as we came in and the workers were both friendly and helpful in making and assembling our selections. The gyros wrap was filled with a good amount of meat along with veggies and your choice of tzatziki or ranch sauce (get the tzatziki). The chosen side was a diced cucumber salad with an oil and vinegar dressing. I knew I was making the right choices as the person assembling the meal was very encouraging. The gyros pita was just as complete as the wrap and fries were selected as the side. The gyros meat was cooked perfectly and not dry at all. It was very flavorful and there was plenty in the wrap. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and the tzatziki sauce was the perfect addition. The diced cucumber salad was crisp and flavorful, especially with the oil and vinegar dressing. The pita was as good as the wrap and the fries were cooked perfectly with a crisp outside and softer inside. They also had seasoning with made them flavorful without any condiments. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and highly recommend stopping in. We will certainly add this to our meal stop any time we are in the area.

I ordered the Chicken Parmesan sub, and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The chicken was super tender, packed with flavor, and the sandwich was huge. I only made it through half and ended up eating the rest later that night. It was just as good the second time around. My wife had the Spicy Italian, and she loved it. The sweet pickles on it really made the sandwich stand out and gave it an awesome flavor. The atmosphere was really cool and felt very authentic. They also have a grocery section where you can buy authentic Italian sauces, pasta noodles, and other items, which was a nice touch. The only thing that surprised us was the fountain drinks being $5 each, but they do come in a souvenir cup. If you're looking for an amazing sub sandwich, I highly recommend Little Hats. The food was fantastic, the staff was friendly, and Germantown itself is a great area to walk around and explore. There are tons of cool places nearby. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Nashville. I'd give this a 5 out of 5 stars.

We went to the Germantown location, which has a huge, really nice patio and a bar area. We ordered at the counter and didn't get any drinks, but I definitely want to come back and spend more time checking out the retail section because it looked great. I got the chicken Parm sandwich, and while it was good, I felt like it needed a little more flavor. I'm probably a little picky with Italian delis since I'm from New England and have had some really great options, so my expectations were high. I think I need to try another sandwich next time. My sister got the soup, and it came in a big bowl and was really good. Overall, everything was solid, but I did think it was a little expensive for a takeaway deli. We spent around $40, which felt a little high for what we got. I will definitely come back for the patio. It seemed dog friendly, and I'm always looking for new spots to bring my pup. The atmosphere is great, and I'd like to come back to try more of the menu.

We have driven past this restaurant several times in the few years we've lived in the area, but…read moreevery time we did so at meal time, found them not to be open. I think we have that sorted now (and I'm sending an update for their hours to Yelp). So, finally, we were there at the same time that they were open. The tl;dr is that while I am not opposed to eating there again, there are a lot of better choices. First, the good. The server was very friendly and helpful. The food arrived very quickly. OK, with that out of the way, the merely OK (or worse). My wife had the Southern Country Fried Steak dinner plate, with White Beans, Cole Slaw, and Mashed Potatoes (one side extra). I thought that the steak was ok, as was the mashed potatoes. My wife said that the steak should have come with white gravy. The beans, not so much. The cole slaw had some kind of flavor in it that I don't recall ever tasting in cole slaw before, and I did not find it pleasant. I had the "Specialty", Open Face Roast Beef Sandwich with Mashed potatoes, Gravy, & Light Bread. Moss's doesn't seem to have the same concept of "Open Face" that I do, but I am not significantly opposed to having an extra slice of bread. That said, the bread was very similar to my memories of Wonder Bread, so nothing to write home about. The roast beef was fine, though a bit more on the salty side than I would like. The brown gravy was decent. The mashed potatoes, as my wife's meal's, were ok. And by having each bite of the sandwich include about half and half with mashed potatoes, the saltiness was mellowed out. Would I have it again? I suppose, though I might be more tempted to have something simpler, like a cheeseburger. We had an order of Fried Corn Bread, and this came looking like some kind of corn bread pancakes. It really needed some butter. Fortunately, there was a mug labeled "BUTTER" on the table. Unfortunately, Moss's opinion of what constitutes "butter" differs from mine. We took most of this home, to heat up in the toaster and slather with actual butter. We decided that we would be unlikely to come back, unless the pie was awesome, and then mainly to get some to-go pie. So, we had to try the pie. We bought three slices: Pecan, Caramel, and Buttermilk. I didn't care much for the Buttermilk, but my wife thought it was OK, and might have a second bite later. My wife and I agreed that the Pecan was OK, but nowhere near as good as the first Pecan Pie I ever made. And both of us thought that the Caramel pie was disgusting. Thick. Gloppy. Bad flavor. Some kind of chewy topping that reminds me of stale marshmallows. So, if I can't talk my group out of coming here, I'll give a burger a try. Sure, there are plenty of ways to make a bad burger, but.... P.S. The menu, according to the server, does not apply to Sunday. On Sunday, they have a "set menu". First and Fourth Sunday of each month are always the same (different from each other), and Second and Third Sundays of each month have whatever the chef wants to cook. If there's ever a Fifth Sunday, have no idea what they serve. `¯\_(ツ)_/¯`
