Love this place. So happy it opened in PV. Only 10 min from me. The food is wonderful and the sandwiches are HUGE. the beer and drink selection seemed endless. Not too expensive and perfect for a relaxing date night. Didn't catch the bartenders name, but he was perfection. Filled out glasses to the rim and very friendly. Definitely will go back and try something different. read more

Began to go here shortly after it opened. I have tried a number of their sandwiches (Philly Cheesesteak, Boston Butt, Reuben, Italian and buger) and Fish Tacos, and the only disappointment was when I ordered a burger, as I was not a fan of the bun. The burger itself was very good, but the bun was not to my liking. The subs are enough for 2 meals, and this is from someone who rarely gets a to-go box. The fries are excellent and should be considered a must have. You will not go away hungry or disappointed, as they will ensure you are happy with what you ordered. read more

This little place is kind of off the beaten path, and you could easily miss it if you aren't looking for it. But do yourself (and your taste buds) a favor and head over there for the best food in Pleasant View! My wife and I tried it for lunch last week, and both ordered the Boston butt based on the reviews here. It didn't disappoint. Not only were the sandwiches absolutely delicious, the portions are huge. I'm a pretty good size guy, and even as yummy as the food was I could only finish half of it. Fortunately, you can get a to-go box and take the rest with you for another meal later. Since the sun wasn't over the yardarm yet we didn't order drinks, but from what I could see they have a decently-stocked bar and a nice selection of beers. I'll have to go back again at a time when drinks are appropriate and test the bartender's ability to make a proper dry martini. Shaken, not stirred, of course. Pleasant View has long needed a decent pub/restaurant, and Swezey's is a welcome addition to the community. Finally, someone in this town knows how to run a restaurant. read more

Came to Swezey's for the fist time tonight. The food was awesome especially the sweet potato fries. Service was excellent! There was also live music by Luke & Dillion! These guys were amazing! Hope they return soon!!! read more

Sandwiches are huge and you will have a second meal to take home from them. They have a limited beer selection and live music on weekends.

Food ok. Staff good. Menu was small/ not much to choose from. Went once probably won't go back.

Comfortable atmosphere and fantastic pub fare. Interior is small but not cramped, reception desk is made from an old bus bumper, and staff are very friendly and efficient. We had sandwiches that were enough to share easily, fries were perfectly done and well seasoned. Large TV over bar would make this a good place to watch the game also! read more

Delicious food at a great location! So glad they expanded so they could feed everyone faster, but definitely worth the wait!

My daughter moved in around the corner and we went to Swezeys for dinner. The owner is from the Philly area (where we live) and makes a mean Philly cheese steak. We had a great meal and went back the next day for dinner again. We are back in town but timed it wrong, we were hoping to watch football from there but they close at 3 on Sunday. This place is highly rated for a reason. We'll be back, it's the best food we've found in the area. read more

Great food. Excellent service. My favorite local joint. Pay the extra buck for the sweet potato fries. They are excellent.

Stopped on a road trip to STL and cannot say enough about our experience. Quaint clean place with a good menu. I'm a vegetarian so my options were a bit limited but was able to get by. The rest of the menu made me recall many tasty items I used to enjoy and my wife's food was great. The fries options were smart. Fresh cut potatoes with old bay seasoning as an option, fresh cut sweet potato fries and plain old regular. We arrived about 6:00 on a Friday and a great husband and wife band were just getting started. Needless to say we stayed longer than a normal road trip dinner stop. Can you blame us with a set list like Tom Petty (Am Girl), Paul Simon (Me & Julio), Bob Marley (3 little birds) sprinkle in some Eagles, Johnny Cash an original or two and it was like a little night out to break up the trip. As we travel thru Clarksville regularly enroute to STL, we have bookmarked this place and will absolutely be back. read more

To start off positive, the place is very beautiful & aesthetically pleasing. It's in a nice location as well. I did have a problem with the service and the actual food itself. The service was very slow and they were not busy. The food, was either under seasoned or over seasoned. I ordered a cheeseburger and tasted like meatloaf. I asked what it had in it and they said it had tomato juice to make it tender. It was tender, but was like meatloaf with cheese on top. Philly Cheesesteak was bland according to my friend with me. We were just stopping by on the drive home and we appreciated the tater tots and the boston butt. read more

Pub food as it is meant to be. No corners are cut and the preparation is clearly professional. Staff is attentive and quick. The full bar is really nice. This place is perfect for a date or a group where you can meet, share dishes (they're more than gracious), and relax. The homemade fries are really good - the spicy ones really are spicy - but save room for the main dishes. read more

First time in Swezey's for a late lunch. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Tried 3 dishes, 2 were labeled as Swezey's favorites, the Boston butt sandwich, the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and the BBQ pork. All were well prepared and flavorful. I had the Cajun fries. Out of this world flavor with just enough heat to remind you they're Cajun without the uncomfortable lingering burn. My husbands regular fries were also full of flavor and just the right amount of seasoning. My frail 77 year old mother scarfed down the BBQ sandwich along with her side of house made pickled cucumbers and onions. She was unapologetic, said it was good she wasn't going to leave a bite, so there. Portions are huge, food is good, atmosphere is lively, Heather is awesome, we will be back! read more

Excellent fish tacos! Met Mike the owner and Jeff the manager, good people. Loved the natural wood wall behind the bar and the glass shelves. read more

Passing through and found this gem after a long day on the road. We read that the owner was a chef at Morton's Steakhouse so figured the food would be good, we were not disappointed. I had the Ginger Grilled Chicken sandwich, my wife and daughter had the Philly, and my son had a burger. Food was delicious and plentiful- big portions, we could easily have shared. The buns on the sandwiches were soft and really fresh. Got fortunate in that they had live music, just a girl with a guitar but she had a great set of pipes. Really enjoyable experience and cool atmosphere. Would highly recommend. read more

These subs. Oh my God they are so good. Philly cheese steak and Ruben subs are my favorite. Never a bad meal.

I love this place. I love the bread on the sandwiches. Get the old bay seasoned fries. Overall, great food, beer, and staff. Go Birds!!

Food is amazing!! Be prepared to ask for to go boxes as the portions are huge!!! The entire establishment is spotless. Great atmosphere, relaxed and great music. We stopped on our way home from Florida and will definitely come back when we are back in the area. read more

Spending the night in Pleasant View and saw the positive comments about Swezeys on Yelp. My husband and I enjoyed 2 Philly Steak sandwiches and took leftovers back to our hotel!!! Delicious food and friendly staff. Small restaurant so you'd better get there early! We arrived at 5:30 PM and were seated immediately. , but there was a line when we left. Enjoy! read more

Best bar tender around. Rob is amazing. Food is outstanding.

Awesome place to eat at in town! Could picture it being a lot of fun at night... would definitely go there again! I ordered the buffalo chicken sub. It was delicious. Only "bad" thing about it was all of the bread. It was too much. I ended up using a fork and eating all the guts on the inside of the sandwich! read more

Excellent food and service was amazing. Went Sunday after church and really enjoyed everything. Definitely a keeper.
