I was always interested in trying aerial silks since I was a kid, however, not many places offer it. I was ecstatic to find that Swet Studio offers aerial yoga classes, which was the next best thing. I purchased the intro 2 classes special, which includes two classes & expires 30 days from purchase date. I did have an issue with the website after booking the classes as the classes I chose did not appear in my upcoming classes nor did my purchase of the intro classes show up in purchase history. When the day of the first class I booked came, I attempted to call the studio 7 times throughout the morning and all calls went straight to voicemail. I decided to just drive there and go in person to see if I would be able to still take the class. Luckily, my bookings of the classes went through and I was able to take both classes I signed up for. Heads up: If you purchase the intro 2 class, the first class they offer you a yoga mat to use free of charge & the second class they will charge you $5 to use their mat via venmo or cash/card. Instructors are helpful and will help you with poses if you are struggling. The second class was definitely more enjoyable for me because the first class had to be a beginner class that was slower paced. I would come back in the future!

I'm 90+ classes in to my membership with SwetStudio so it's about time I write a review! SwetStudio is my home away from home. I love coming here and seeing all the familiar faces! All of the instructors are very kind and accommodating. I regularly take classes with Veronika and Kerry. Both of them make class an equal mix of challenging and relaxing so you definitely feel the class was worth it without getting burnt out on attending. I will also say as someone who has recovered from two surgeries and multiple broken bones (from an accident unrelated to the studio) I have always been met with care and support from the instructors giving me tips on modifications so I can still participate. They also keep things interesting by hosting different events every few months like meditations and aerial dance. I'm a member for a reason. I tested the waters with a buy one get one free class and now I can't imagine practicing anywhere else!

Took an Antigravity Fundamentals class with Silviya and it was so much fun! As an instructor she takes the time to explain and help each person get the hang of inversions and ensures each student is safe prior to going upside down. Another plus is the small class sizes! There 7 swings which guarantees a focus on the students! During the class we did three different inversions which worked parts of me I didn't know could be worked! I was a little sore the next day, which shows this class is definitely a full body experience. If you get lightheaded or nauseous easily, drink water and take it slowly! The class isn't in the most convenient location but I will definitely be coming back to work on inversions in the future using Classpass. It's about a 10 minute walk from Back Bay station or Tufts Med.

My friends and I have been wanting to try an aerial yoga class for so long, so we took advantage of Swet Studio's new client buy one get one free class deal. Swet Studio also has a reward system with perkville where you can earn points towards free classes! If you refer your friend, you get 50 points and they get 3 classes for the price of one. I recommend heading there early, because they have a very strict late policy. You'll need time to fill out a waiver if it's your first visit, as well as getting measured for your hammock. We were definitely nervous going into our first time riders class, but our instructor Jen did such a great job at walking us through each step. We did stretches and poses in and out of the hammock, learned how to get into an inversion and how to do a backflip out. I never thought I'd be able to back flip out of the hammock after my first class, but I did!!! I had such a good time at the first time rider's class that I immediately signed up for the beginners yoga class. Beginners yoga with Lauren was the perfect next step from first time riders. The poses were more challenging and I definitely felt the burn. I had a great experience at Swet Studio. It's a welcoming environment with very knowledgeable and friendly instructors. Instead of feeling intimidated by a completely new workout, I was having so much fun with it. I will definitely be back!

Such a fun class! Silviya was a really cool instructor and did a great job making the class manageable but still exciting for first timers!

The center now seems to promote special groups "sanghas". I began practicing because of the Buddhist view of non self and non identification to self, so it seems to me an antithesis to Buddhism of integration and inclusion. I also feel that communication from the center is aggressive about raising money. Volunteering is only for friends of Narayan, or so it seems because she has the final say in approving or rejecting a volunteer. In full disclosure, I have been practicing since1980 but moved away from the center to explore Tibetan Buddhism. After attending a day retreat in July I tried to reconnect by responding to a request for volunteers. I was turned down by Narayan with no explanation. That being said I am aware that many lost souls can find solace in the appearance of the projected peace at the center.

I was considering attending one of the Meditation/Group Reiki classes that I had found on Meetup and reached out to schedule a free consultation (not a requirement to attend one of her classes). Alex got back to me quickly and we met for a consultation that week! During our initial meeting, everything felt right and I chose to receive my first healing - Life Activation. My life began to shift immediately! I got a new job, was finally able to move out of an apartment that I'd felt stuck in for years, and felt ready to begin to address issues that were keeping me from growing and connecting with my higher self for years. Since receiving Life Activation, I have gone back to Alex for Ensofic Ray, Spirit Activation, Negative Energy Clearing, Shamanic Aura Healing, and Soul Retrieval! In my experience, each service is like a little (or giant) booster that helps me to power through blockages and accelerate my healing and growth. You still have to do the work, but Alex will help you to remember that you can and that you're worth it! About 8 months into my healing journey I am amazed with the progress that I have made. I am so grateful that I have made the decision to heal and continue to make that choice; I do not believe I would be where I am today without the support and guidance that I've received from Alex at Empowher You.
