Meditation in a silk hammock. Heaven! Swet's Levitation Meditation class is like nothing I have experienced before. The best I can do to describe it is to say that it feels like you are swaddled and totally protected in your own, private silk wrapping. With my eyes closed, I felt like I was floating...very conducive to meditating. Lovely experience! read more

I took the beginner aerial yoga class on Sunday morning with Sylvia. She is an excellent instructor. It was my first class and a lot harder than I anticipated. The class was pretty homogenous - all women between the ages of 22 - 28 max - lol. I took it easy during class because it was hard to get used to the hammock and even the beginner's class put you in inversions and flips. I think by the second class I'll feel more confident. There is parking available early Sunday morning - but I imagine any other time of the day is challenging. The only irritating part of class was after apparently 90% of attendees are aspiring Instagram models so the room turned into a photoshoot. I bet this happens.....every......single.....class. OMG these people are ridiculous - so glad I'm not a millennial. read more

Such a fun class! Silviya was a really cool instructor and did a great job making the class manageable but still exciting for first timers!

If Swet Studio isn't on you 100 things to do before you die list, then you need to put it on there. My boyfriend and I tried it for the first time and started with the deep stretch. It is a unique experience that i never thought I would see myself do in my life. The service was beyond lovely and direct when you walked in the door and our beyond fabulous instructor, Jen, navigated us through this exciting journey. It is one of the best ways to relieve stress before finals and a wonderful idea for a fun date. My boyfriend and I are very grateful to have shared such an amazing experience here together and will surely be back to do it again! read more

Found this studio near my house couple years ago and finally I walked in. Start as a beginner, I was super upset by sitting down on a swinging hammock and go upside down. All the instructors would answer my questions and explain very clearly. Joining it about three months, I feel stronger in my arms and abdomens. This is a fun, peaceful, and relaxing space for me after school and work. COME IN, THROW THE STRESS AWAY AND FIND ENERGY! read more

So after trying my first class back in Dec 2016, I'm finally writing a review for Swet! Firstly, thank goodness for this studio because without it, I might have never tried aerial yoga. I mean seriously Boston, step it up! How is this the only aerial yoga studio around?? (Although, even if another studio opened up, Swet would still have my business!) Anyway, I love taking classes here! The size of the classes are perfect and small enough that the instructor can really give their attention to everyone. I actually took about 6-7 beginner classes before trying their more advanced classes, which is more than their request to take 3 beginner classes before trying anything else. However, I thought taking more was really helpful in order to review and practice the basics to become comfortable in the hammock. So far, I have only taken the Barre classes, but I want to take more before I move! The Barre class is excellent and you definitely get to work out a range of muscle groups. I wish they were a bit longer, but 50 minutes is still a good amount of time! I have taken classes with Silviya, Veronika, and Jennifer and they have all been fantastic! They are all super friendly, are great about making sure you are comfortable in the hammock and are down to talk or help you with your skills! read more

Had a horrible experience with using their intro pack! After an injury, they would not let me use an intro pack that I had paid for a while ago even though I had never attended any classes. Other studios in the Boston area were very flexible and happy to help, but not here! Would recommend going to a studio that is nicer to their customers! read more

Swet is fantastic! I have taken several of the Anti-gravity classes: First-Time Flyer, Yoga, Restorative, Core and Pilates but not any of the bootcampy or HIIT classes so my review is purely on the Anti-gravity classes. Each one is slightly different but compliments the others. I have also taken classes with Christie, Veronika, Jennifer and Silviya. Again, each instructor is different but each one is very attentive and safety conscious. I started with AG Yoga and progressed to AG Core and AG Pilates. My most recent class was the Sunday afternoon First-time Flyers and quite honestly I wish I had taken it sooner. I only took it as I am returning to the studio after a 2 month absence due to illness and thought I needed a refresher. It really helped put the AG movements together and I know once I get back in the other more "advanced" classes I will be better prepared. I mention the following as a few reviews say that the Beginner or First-Time Riders is too easy or not a workout. Honestly, it is a workout as even "basic" AG moves requires a quite a bit of core activation plus trust in the hammock. Note, I am a Pilates Instructor and I definitely feel that that you need at least 3 classes before taking the harder/ more advanced classes. All in all the studio is fantastic and I highly recommend it. read more

Yesterday was my first time going to Swet Studio and it was amazing! Veronika was very patient with me and helpful. She could see that it was my first time ever doing something like this and how I was kind of scared and assisted me. I will be coming back soon! I hope that doing it more will make it become less frightening to me. Thank you for all the help. read more

I can't say enough great things about Swet Studio. I have been a part of what feels like their 'family' for about 5 years. They helped me through the blows of the pandemic. I switched at the start of the pandemic to private lessons with Veronika (when guidance allowed us to do it safely). Veronika is one of the most amazing teachers I have ever had. She got me through my fears, injuries, and attends to the quirks in my aging body. I felt like physical crap today, but I swept myself off the couch knowing I should at least try and do what I could. Leave it to Veronika to come up with an innovative, effective and fun training that attended to my physical needs but even better pushed me in ways that continued to strengthen my body and soul. I don't know how to thank her and all the other instructors. I am so happy to be a part of the 'family'. If you want to try something different, challenging, and fun, RUN, don't walk to Swet! read more

This was my first time doing aerial yoga and I loved it! The studio was really great overall. I took the beginners class and they had a main instructor and another instructor walking around the class which was really helpful. I thought they were really supportive and helped make the most of a new experience for most people. read more

I've always wanted to try aerial yoga, but I had no idea there was a place in Boston! Luckily, one of my friends knew Swet Studio offered the classes so we decided to try it. It definitely didn't disappoint. I bought the buy one get one free first class offer and it was a good deal, seeing how a single class can be around $20. It's a great way to see if this is your type of thing without the commitment! I took the First Time Riders class and then the AG Beginner class. I didn't really feel like the First Time Riders class did much for me. It was helpful to learn the poses and transitions, but I wouldn't use one of your classes on this unless you're really terrified at the thought of the hammocks. I would've just gone straight to an AG Beginner class because they pick up the speed a bit more, but they will still help you with poses if it's your first. They also recommend taking two AG Beginner classes before you do the other AG classes, just so you are comfortable with getting in and out of poses more quickly. I'm not sure how necessary this is, but I'm tempted to just go into an AG Core/AG Fit/AG Barre class. The beginner classes will do a really good job with teaching you the basics but you won't really sweat. The inversions can be tricky, but the instructors do a really good job with making you comfortable and teaching. Come early! I hit unexpected traffic along the way and I had such a hard time with finding parking. I parked a couple blocks away from the studio and was huffing and puffing trying to find the place. It's right next to Blackbird Doughnuts, btw in case you get lost like I did. Do not forget to wear a long sleeved shirt or to be on time. You will not be allowed to attend class if you don't follow both rules. For your first time, they will make you fill out a questionnaire so allow yourself ample time to find parking, find the place and fill out the required forms. I did see that there was a parking lot nearby, so consider that if you know you're running a bit late and won't have time to look for parking. Sign up for the Perkville rewards system! I'm disappointed that I didn't know about it before because you get points for referring friends and checking in. These points could redeem a free class for you. I went with a bunch of friends and it would have been nice to refer each other and get points towards a class. Anyways, it was so much fun and I can't wait to come back! read more

I did the beginner aerial yoga class, and had a lot of fun! The instructor ensures that everyone is safe while in the hammocks. She demonstrated various moves and talked it out as well as we completed the positions. It was so much fun doing the inverted positions! Everyone there was helpful and nice! Also, I got a beginner special of buy one get one free, so check that out on their website. read more

Attended the beginner class last night. What fun! Great studio. Has a great vibe. Already signed in online so it was super easy checking in. I had never been to any aerial yoga class and was so excited to try it. Being the oldest person there by a lot I never felt out of place. Very easy guidance by the nicest staff. Relaxing and challenging at the same time. The music was fantastic, the girls assisting were so helpful. Cant wait to go back! read more

Just started taking aerial classes here and loving it! All the staff and instructors are amazing- so supportive and patient and they really make it feel like a safe and welcoming space. I'm pretty out of shape and already feeling stronger and more energized after just a couple classes. Highly recommend to anyone just getting back into working out or anyone looking for something new to spice up your workout routine!! :) read more

Swet Studio is awesome!!! I rarely write reviews for anything.. But I highly recommend fly yoga and Swet Studio to everyone. I finally found a sport that fits me so much haha.. I love the feeling of being inverted and doing backflips, which you won't get the chance to do regularly by yourself (well, at least that's the case for me). It made me feel safe to do so since the hammock is very strong, and the teachers are very helpful. They tried to guide and help everyone with great caution and patience. It's a great way to challenge yourself if you don't do these kinds of things regularly in your life. It definitely made some hard gestures in regular Yoga easier! I've recommended it to a few of my friends! You should also have a try! read more

Taking classes at Swet Studio has been such a delight. I'm not really a morning person but I've been motivated to go to the early morning AG pilates and AG barre classes with Christie. It is such a great workout and also a great way to relieve stress, definitely recommend trying the first flyers class before trying anything else just to get to know how to use the hammock and get used to flying! read more

This class was awesome! I had always wanted to try antigravity yoga but was a little intimidated, but the class took me through each step and the instructor was very attentive to the needs of the class. 154 They also have great deals, including a buy one get one class and "points" towards a class for referring friends. The studio is very open and relaxing, plenty of space to move around. I can't wait to try the next class! read more

A really cute place to do aerial Yoga. All the stuffs there are really nice and patient. The advance classes are all really interesting! A good place to hang out with friends and enjoy the work out! read more

Randonly looked up 'aerial yoga places in Boston' on google and found this hidden gem! Took a AG Beginner class with Kristen and it was great! She's totally welcoming to newcomers and there's absolutely no pressure to do anything you're uncomfortable with. It was a new way to stretch muscles I didn't know I had~ Plus the silk hammocks are smooth and comfortable and the inversions were pretty fun~ :) read more

My friend and I went to our first aerial yoga class today and had a blast! We signed up for the AntiGravity Yoga Fit class thinking we would do alright even though we saw there was an AG beginner class. Little did we know, our bodies would ache all over from being worked hard lol. Silviya happily helped us through all of the flips and inversions. Her voice was very calming and her instructions were succinct and clear with her physical demonstrations. I let go of my fears of falling and did the flips and inversions adequately to my surprise! By the end of the class, I felt a little woozy what with all the blood rushing to one's brain and had a drink of water. While she was still instructing the other students, she gave me a mint to help me clear my head. It was a physically challenging class but so rewarding at the end when you complete the one-hour class! The studio caps its classes at 15 students to allow for individual attention, which I appreciate. They also do not allow late entrance for any reason so as to not disrupt the other students who arrived early as the instructor goes over safety information. All in all, it was a fun, challenging, and fulfilling experience in a beautiful space. I am definitely coming back, ready for round 2! read more

Swet Studio - Meditation exercise to end the aerial yoga class! - Aerial Fitness Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

Great gym without the feel of a typical studio/gym space. The real bonus is the super friendly staff! I tried the hip hop yoga class with friends and everyone enjoyed the workout, music, and pace of the class. The studio is a great addition to the South End and anyone interested in trying yoga, levitation meditation, or something new should definitely check it out! read more

I took the ag beginner class with Veronika and the all levels class with Christie. The ag beginner class eases you into learning about using the hammocks. Its relaxing and not very exercise intensive. I enjoyed the all levels class more because it was a bit quicker and we did more workouts. Christie is very energetic :) I'm excited to do a more advanced class. Unfortunately, some require that you take at least 3 beginner classes first. Make sure you arrive on time so that they have time to set you up for the class. They also let you take posed pictures after the class is over. read more

Was visiting Boston from Chattanooga this past weekend. I went to the Saturday morning intro to aerial class and had a fantastic time. Jen was very helpful in guiding us through the various poses and movements - she encouraged us to laugh, have fun, and try new things. The space is great and location seems really nice / easy as well. The space was decorated for Halloween, which was done really well. I enjoyed the whimsical nature of the space, the friendly and caring staff, as well as the fun approach to exercise. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to break out of their workout routine and try new things as well as meet some seriously nice and fun people! read more

Swet studio is a fantastic breath of fresh air to the gym world and offers classes for all workout levels. I recently tried Levitation Meditation and loved it! My job is very hectic and chaotic and my previous meditation trials have failed miserably, however, hanging serenely in the hammock and listening to soothing tones at Swet, I felt transcended to a world of calm and peace and enlightenment. Hip hop yoga is also tons of fun and provides great stretching and strength building. I cannot wait to return and try out the boot camp classes. If you're looking for a fun, friendly, and effective workout routine definitely stop by Swet Studio! You will be so glad you did!!! read more

I came in tonight for an aerial yoga class. I hate to say it but the truth is I have no idea what all the hype is about. I thought the instructor was moody and detached. I've taken 4 or 5 aerial classes in the past where the instructor was much more thorough, patient and helpful for beginners. Parking was convenient (bring quarters) and the receptionist was nice. The studio is very pretty. However, the only reason I'll be back is because I got a 2 for 1 deal. At $30 a class, I definitely expected a lot more! read more

I bought the intro pack 2 classes for $30 and it was such a great experience I am going to buy a class pack! AntiGravity Yoga is such a fun way to get a great work out! I took the first time flyers class and a beginners class with Silviya she is so patient and really wants everyone to have a good time while getting a great work out. The actual studio is beautiful and inviting, they always start on time which is great. Definitely recommend you visit Swet for a new fun work out! read more

I was in Boston for a week and thought I would check out swet studio, I had never tried Arial yoga before, I attended the fundamentals class with Tanuja. She was extremely knowledgable and supportive , her positive attitude and calming presence was exactly what I needed for my first experience with inversions , which can be quite nerve racking! Her choice of music was great and she made every moment fun and light . I loved to learn fundamentals from this sweet angel ! While I was there I also met the owner Sylvia , super kind women , and incredible what this young woman has accomplished. Swet is a beautiful , warm , welcoming space and I will definately be back here!! read more

Today I took the AG yoga (all levels) class with Christie! I LOVED IT. I am new to yoga, and have only taken one other AG class before....and I felt confident the entire time! She made me feel like I could ask questions if needed (which doesn't happen a lot) and she made me feel very comfortable. I also love how we had some choice in some of the things we were doing. She catered to our injuries and it was so light-hearted and productive, and fun! I knew this class was primarily a stretch class, so I didn't expect to really break a sweat or have a 'major' workout .. but was I wrong! I was sweating, and EXTREMELY challenged (which doesn't happen much because I am very athletic and a dancer). I was pushed perfectly and had a great time doing it. I never reached the point of wanting to give up, felt calm and at peace, AND I CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK!!! I loved the environment too. So great! read more

Swet Studio - Aerial Fitness Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

I heard a bunch about this place from some friends and decided to go with them to one of the beginner classes. It was taught by Kaitlin, and she was great at explaining how to go through all of the positions. I'd definitely recommend starting with the beginner classes to get used to how to get comfortable moving in the hammock and inverting. It's super relaxing, fun and gets you stretched out nicely. I also took an AG Core class with Silviya and I'm definitely going to feel it for a couple days. It's really cool how you can get a core workout in using the hammock, and very effective. read more

I've been looking for a place to try aerial yoga in Boston and Swet Studio is great! The instructors and staff are super helpful, and when I wasn't able to use up one of my class packages before it expired before leaving for a few weeks they were super accommodating and I was able to use up my last class when I returned. They also offer a great variety of classes - I have only been to AG yoga so far but am looking forward to trying meditation, restorative yoga and barre. Don't forget to stop for a donut after! read more

I am a yoga certified instructor and am very picky on where I go. To date have not found a studio in Boston that I like. Have been to a few beginner silk classes at Swet and they have been great. Studio is brand new, very clean and staff is friendly. Really enjoyed the fly class as well. I sleep so well after all the inversions. The scheduling app is fantastic. read more

Never signing up for this studio again. I have taken several classes around the area and have signed up for a class at swet studio. I traveled all the way there to only to have an alert on my phone at 745am tell me the 8am class is canceled. This is very unprofessional, and have never experienced this at any studio in boston. read more

I am absolutely obsessed with this place! I went to one levitation class, and two anti-gravity yoga classes, and it was collectively the best experience I've ever had. Not only was I relaxed after every single class, but I actually felt a difference physically. The levitation was a guided meditation and after a long work week, there was really nothing that could've relaxed me more! The anti-gravity yoga was also absolutely amazing, the instructors, Kaitlin and Sylvia were extremely helpful, and always answered questions when needed. Another thing I loved about coming to this studio for the two classes is that the classes weren't alike at all, which was super fun, I went to the first class, learned a bunch, and in the second class, I learned even more. It was amazing, really. I could not recommend this place enough. read more

this class are soooooo funny，If you like yoga -- even if you don't do it that often -- you should definitely, certainly, positively consider giving Aerial Yoga a try. For me, aerial yoga was like normal yoga... times 10. Not times 10 in terms of difficulty, but in terms of how effective, fulfilling and calming it was. From web site，it said Ariel yoga have Greater Flexibility. Since you have more freedom of movement, you can move your body into new positions. In some cases, this can result in a deeper and more fulfilling stretch than traditional yoga offers. Better Focus. By putting yourself in a more challenging situation than usual. read more

Honestly, I was really skeptical about the class but when I walked in I felt completely relaxed and at peace. Everyone was so welcoming from the front desk to my instructor, Veronika. She was super nice! I have ended up referring all my friends to Aerial Yoga and I get questions from friends about where to go. You feel AMAZING after the class. I have always gone to the gym and did my same workouts but going to Swet Studio gave me the opportunity to explore more ways to get my fitness in for the week! read more

I took my first ag Yoga class at Swet Studio this past Tuesday and totally loved it! Christie was wonderful at pacing the class to the experience level of everyone there, as well as talking us all through each of the moves and offering modifications for a more or less challenging workout. Everyone on staff was so welcoming and great at explaining everything newcomers needed to know. I hate when you go to a new fitness studio or gym and you're essentially just left to figure everything out yourself, and that certainly wasn't the case here! I'll be back for the ag Beginner class this Thursday night and can't wait to try more classes. read more

Tried my first free trial class with a friend and really enjoyed it. Classes are small enough where the instructor is able to come by to everyone and assist if needed. My instructor was Jenny and she was wonderful-- she has been doing aerial yoga for 8 years and seemed really passionate about it. Would come back again. read more

I booked a meditation class on ClassPass and arrived at Swet Studio but was not allowed to take the class without paying again because they claimed to have cancelled their commitment with ClassPass. The lady was incredibly rude about it and told me it was my issue to deal with. Will definitely not be coming back to this studio!! read more

I've taken 2 AntiGravity Yoga classes. Both were great! The first class I took, AG Beginner, was with Silviya (I definitely recommend starting with a beginner class if you're new to aerial yoga). We did some traditional yoga with the hammock, as well as inversions (when you hang upside down) and back flips. After this class, I was sore from using muscles I usually don't use balancing and sustaining some of the poses. The second class I took, AG Barre: Aerial Dance, was with Jennifer. This class mostly works your lower body (calves, ankles, quads, and butt) and lengthens your leg muscles. Both instructors were very friendly and gave clear instructions on how to transition in and out of poses. I highly recommend Swet Studio if you like to try new classes or if you're just looking mix up your workouts! read more
