I have always loved the idea of yoga, but never really got "into it" until I found Coolidge Corner Yoga. Once you get over the "youngish, white girl vibe" (those who know what I'm talking about know what I'm talking about), I have found the instructors here are funny, approachable, and not intimidating at all. The classes are pretty easy to follow along with even with little yoga practice. My tip would be to look around you if you have no clue what you are doing (LOL). I also LOVE that the classes here are 1.5 hours - it goes by so quickly and I always feel like I get a good stretch and workout no matter the class. I've only tried one other studio in the area, but that's enough to know I don't really want to go anywhere else. No pretentious renaming poses and flows. Full disclosure: I'm also a skinny Asian American girl in her late 20s, so I can't really speak to how inclusive this place can feel, but I do believe they try to welcome everyone. Once I signed up for the $30/30 days deal, I'm pretty sure I took 10 classes. For beginners, I would come with a friend so you can learn the culture of the studio and introduce yourself to the instructor if you can. Grab a blanket, strap, and two blocks with your mat :) Flow and Restore is what I started out with and it's my favorite class. Come 10 minutes early! I have never not found a spot in a class when I do this, even when it gets crazy crowded. Sometimes, they'll run out of blankets and straps, but the instructor will always get them for you. Parking is metered street parking. You can pay with Park Boston app or credit card on certain streets (including the spots in front of the studio), but other meters are quarters only. I have never missed a class because I couldn't find a spot, even at rush hour! read more

I attended a Flow and Restore class with Heather. It was a very relaxing class! An even mix of slow flow and restorative postures. Heather offers optional hands-on reiki/touch during savasana which I loved! The studio space itself has a very grounded and peaceful energy. I can tell they have cultivated a nice community there! read more

A tremendous and welcoming studio. As an out of town visitor both Nikki McMaster and Beth Fricke were so welcoming, professional and I could tell loved the classes they were teaching. I cannot recommend this yoga studio enough. I am so lucky to have found them and will visit anytime I'm in Boston. Thank you! read more

I'm new to yoga and signed up for 3 months unlimited. I've done about 3-5 classes per week for the last 2 months and have taken classes from at least 4 or 5 of the instructors. I'm impressed by their kindness, helpfulness, and welcoming attitude. I'm also very impressed by their attention to cleanliness including with respect to their props and air filtration. You will also find a mix of abilities, ages, and genders. read more

You may be venturing out now and looking for a great place to do yoga. Whatever you do, don't go here. For those who weren't on their email list in 2020, they sent out an email that said "whether you believe black lives matter or don't." That's when most of their yoga teachers quit. So if you're wondering why the studio has only white yoga teachers, now you know. They are very anti-black lives matter and are unwilling to do anything to accommodate people of other religions. Like when a yoga student requested that people stop kicking up against the wall (when they attempt at handstands) that has a Hindu deity on it. The studio's answer was no. It's a rather intolerant place. I don't recommend that you spend your money at a business that It's so antagonistic to the many non-white members in our community. read more

I have done yoga classes here & there over the years, but never joined a studio. I couldn't justify the expense, on top of a monthly gym membership. But when CCY opened and was offering $30 for 30 days, I couldn't say no! I signed up and went to my first-ever prenatal yoga class with Lakota. I immediately knew I'd get my money's worth that month and tried all 3 of the yoga classes (Fridays with Lakota, Sundays with Janine and Wednesdays with Elyssa). Lakota & Janine are my personal favorites, as the classes are more about deep stretching and getting in-tune with your body and baby, but Elyssa's class was a great, intense workout as well. They are all moms and have been into/teaching yoga for years, so they know what they are doing but are very aware/attentive to a pregnant body's limitations and needs. The studio is in a really convenient location (right by the T and perfect for post-yoga TJ's shopping) and has a warm, inviting feel. (Although, speaking of warm, the downstairs bathroom is like a SAUNA). The main area, where you keep your shoes and jackets, is right next to a studio, so we often get shushed for talking while a class is going on. Kind of a bummer, but understandable. I love that they have a whole kitchen setup, where you can fill your water bottle (and a fridge with some yummy snacks I assume are not for clients), as well as a sitting area upstairs where you can unwind. They also do have a nice, clean shower, in case you're heading out after. I actually signed up for a 10-class card once my 30-day trial expired. Not ready for a full yoga studio expense yet, but I'm getting there! read more

This yoga studio is horrible do not go here!!!! My Birkenstocks got stolen in the waiting room and the staff did very little about it. How can a yoga studio let something like this happen? And it just goes to show what type of people go here. The classes were crowded and it's overpriced for what it is. Down Under Yoga is much nicer with more experienced teachers. Shoes never get stolen there either. read more

I really wish I had a better experience at Coolidge Yoga as it is so close to where I live. Don't bother with classes after 5pm on weeknights. Crowded room, instructor nearly always running about 5 minutes late (not just the same instructor/class time!), and they definitely favor the yoga teacher trainees in class. One instructor asked one of the teacher trainees to demonstrate a complicated pose for the class on the spot, which she was unable to demonstrate, and the instructor had the gall to be annoyed with her! I really prefer a yoga experience where the instructors weave in Sanskrit, creative sequencing, and class themes. I always left Coolidge feeling like I paid for a workout vs. paying for a yoga experience. read more

Very clean space and wonderful instructors. I bought the $30 for 30 days new client deal this summer. Of all the classes, I really like Core Flow and Urban Beatz. I wish I was able to try more classes, but I found the weekday class times on the schedule to be quite awkward and not as accommodating to work schedules. Due to working full time, I could never make the 5:45 classes, but the 7:30 classes made having dinner a bit awkward, since they ended at 9. It would be nice to have maybe a 6 or 6:30 time instead. I also wish they provided mats, or allowed for more people to store their mats at the studio! All in all, I really liked my experience here though and would recommend giving it a try for any new or seasoned yogis near the Coolidge Corner area (good location by Trader Joe's). read more

Let me start this review by saying that I walked through the doors at CCY a skeptic. I have always been a more "active" class taker (think kickboxing, HIIT, etc.) and thought that yoga was exclusively for the earthy, crunchy set and not for the extremely stressed out, type A personality that I am... in short, they had a lot of convincing to do. I took my first ever fundamentals yoga class at CCY with Nadine a few months ago. I found that I actually loved her slow, patient and encouraging style as well as her insistence that yoga is something to learn at ones' own pace. I didn't feel like we were ever doing kindergarten yoga or that it wasn't a workout. The entire class environment felt extremely supportive and uplifting while also encouraging challenging moves and poses. I left my 30 days for $30 month invigorated by CCY and ready to try a different studio... after all, there are many 30 days for $30 deals out there and I didn't think it made sense to stick with my first studio. I wanted to play the field, see what was out there. ...after ONE class at another studio which I will not name, I realized that I should have just left well enough alone and stuck with my good thing. The new studio was every bad yoga stereotype there is and the studios, while fine, were not as airy and free feeling. I didn't wait until the 30 days were up; I hightailed it right back to the warm, welcoming threshold of CCY. So far, I've been in classes with Nadine, Rachel and Laura --- all of them are awesome teachers who bring their own style to the practice while maintaining the same supportive and encouraging undercurrent. Every time I leave class, I feel lighter and have a general feeling of accomplishment for the work I've done both physically and mentally. Since I've started yoga a few days a week, I sleep better, I don't indulge in destructive behavior as much (overeating, drinking, etc.) and my mood is steadier. Maybe there was an earthy, crunchy soul hiding underneath the layers of stress, or maybe its a journey to unlock that part of yourself. Either way, CCY, I don't know what I did without you in my world. read more

Amazing studio filled with wonderful instructors - who provide so much more than exercise. Highly recommend in "normal" times and SUPER highly recommend during these uncertain times. Importantly now, CY has been active and flexible in their response to the COVID19 health crisis. In early March, they removed all props and rented matts to help stop the spread but still offer classes. When that still seemed unsafe, they had a seamless transition to virtual yoga. As long as I've been working from home, so has Coolidge Yoga. Being able to "see" my trusted instructors has been so incredibly uplifting during this time. While it's likely I have been exposed to the virus, I think my nearly daily practice with CY helps keep me healthy. I have always loved their Vinyasa classes but now I can also enjoy other classes that were in time windows I could not attend previously, such as Core Flow, Flow and Restore, and Gentle Yoga. Every instructor at CY is gifted, compassionate, unique, knowledgable, and all are excellent trainers. Every class has a at least one gem you may find yourself thinking about the next day, a week later, or maybe forever. Rachel in forest yoga once reminded her class to breathe deeply, "Now, through out the rest of class, and in your daily life." Then she laughed and acknowledged how difficult that is. But because she said that, I find myself remembering to breathe deeply at random times and I could not be more grateful for that lesson. Also impressive is Tatyana's enthusiasm to keep us engaged with new offerings weekly, her energy in class, as well the energy of all the instructors! This sunday afternoon, I plan to find a replay to start my week off with some good movement! read more

I cannot say enough about how amazing this studio is. I started with the 30 day new student special, having only begrudgingly attended a handful of yoga classes. It was not until the final day of my membership that I built the courage to try a Vinyasa class and immediately after I signed up with the unlimited monthly membership. The space is well-kept and the staff are always in good spirits. Thanks to the owner and her values, everything from the clothes to the food and products in the bathroom are natural, sustainable, and eco-friendly. They have numerous bathrooms (one with a shower), and changing area. The teachers each have their own style so the classes tend to vary more based on that than on whether its called "core flow" or "vinyasa," so I would recommend giving several teachers a try to see which speak most to you. For example, some tend to move more quickly through the postures, some tend to include more meditation and attention to the breath, some play loud music, and others tend to play more spiritual music or low and slow music. While I would recommend any of the Vinyasa and Core Flow classes I most highly recommend Laura! Her energy alone when you're in her class is incredible. She is truly a special teacher and individual who teaches from the heart, grounded in science and wisdom. She never plays music, which can sound scary at first but she speaks beautifully throughout the class, while allowing for pauses for self-reflection and bringing your attention back to your breath and to the presence. Laura offers somewhat slow but extremely challenging sequencing. Her philosophy is routed in traditional yogic philosophy and she is also undergoing yoga therapy training, which shines through. Check it out for yourself, I promise even for those experienced at yoga, its nothing like you've ever experienced in a vinyasa class before! read more

My only issue was with lighting up incense. Some of us are allergic to these smokes, and specially in an enclosed area while breathing heavily, it is a problem. I won't be returning to the studio because I don't want to take the chance in breathing the smoke/synthetic scent. read more

As a runner experimenting with a variety of cross training this summer, I was incredibly nervous but excited to try out Coolidge Corner Yoga. My first visit, I signed up for a Fundamentals of Yoga class on a weekday evening. One of the things that has historically kept me from trying yoga classes is the intimidation factor, combined with my extreme lack of coordination. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt so at ease at this studio. The front desk, which does turn into a bit of a cluster at times, had friendly staffers who helped me get signed in and with a rented mat ($2, I believe). The class itself was not only informative with lots of instructor correction/attention, but it was fun as well. Because of this, I quickly signed up for another class the following week- Yin Yoga. Being unfamiliar with all things yoga, I had no idea what to expect, but I will tell you- TAKE THIS CLASS! I've never felt so great in my life, and this was one of the very rare times I was disappointed to see a workout class end. I signed up for another class tomorrow evening a week ago, and I've been looking forward to it the entire time. Extra Pros: The rooms smell amazing, and I have found them to be very clean each time. Also bonus points for being not only near my apartment, but also next to 16 Handles and Trader Joes! read more

I'm a regular at my on-site work gym for all yoga classes. I hadn't tried any new studios in awhile, so when my friend told me to try CCY with her, I readily obliged. Believe me, I'm one of those people who likes trying new things, but when it comes to yoga instructors, it's hard to find one to stick to and work with. Why fix something that isn't broken? Curiosity got the best of me. The next time I was in the neighborhood, we made plans to attend a 2PM Vinyasa class. The class cost $5 (cash only, but very worth the investment in yourself), and after I paid and signed in, the front desk immediately had me fill out a waiver form. I'm pleased to see that they have their legal matters in order. The space itself is quite welcoming, with an open studio format and clean storage areas for shoes and belongings. More importanly, the floorboards were even! I can't count how many times I've exercised in uneven spaces - it just doesn't help the body learn the proper form when working on something unstable. Our instructor, Dana, was very accommodating for the new student in the class, adjusting the flows to be more basic while continuing to challenge more seasoned yoga practitioners. I think I did chair pose flows at least six times! (Two or three rounds is where I can work without severely fatiguing.) Dana certainly challenged my limits that day, in a very positive way! 75 minutes later, I realize I'm drifting off into dreamland while cooling down in savasana. If I'm in the neighborhood again, I'll plan on attending a morning class on the weekend. It would be nice to try classes with other instructors to get a feel for everyone's teaching style. read more

I'm writing this update specifically about the $5 cash only vinyasa class offered on Saturdays and Sundays. Not only is this the best yoga deal in town, it's also a terrific class! The class was appropriately intense, but Nikki eased into it slowly, explaining and demonstrating clearly, eventually working up to more challenging moves and even some inversions (headstands) at the end. I couldn't believe the class wasn't packed (maybe because of the holidays), and almost didn't want to leave this update for fear of word getting out too widely :) But as a yelper, I feel it's my duty to share such gems with the rest of you! CCY, I hope you'll keep this class on the regular schedule! read more

Coolidge corner yoga welcomes students of all levels into their warm, cozy, and bright studio. It's situated like a friendly home and their kitchen is stocked with tea. I took the core flow class with Tatyana and was a huge fan!! She was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. Even though it was my first time there, I felt like a lot of attention was paid to me. Tatyana gave great adjustments and cues. They're located conveniently next to trader joe's and 16 handles so there are tons of post asana snack options! Coolidge corner yoga also has a cute boutique shop inside. They have super fun yoga mats for sale and even ones more suitable for kids! They also saw raw revolution bars, juices, and enerchi bites. I don't even live in the area and I already can't wait to come back!! They take class pass and also run a $30/30 days trial offer for new members. read more

CCY is another platform for yoga heaven!!!! I used to do my yoga at my gym and then followed my fav instructor to this new place. It has been over a year and I even did my prenatal yoga classes until one week before my labor. Their classes are so amazing and relaxing practice!!! They also have interesting kids classes and the instructor - Dawn is my kid's fav. I have been to more than ten instructors ' classes there and they are pretty awesome; they offer different levels of yoga practices during the class. You get to challenge yourself or follow the flows as you like. I love to take Tiffany's and Tatyana's classes in particular!!! If you never do yoga or not a yoga fan, this place certainly will make you fall in love with the practice!!!! read more

So unfortunate that I had a not the nicest start of the day. I went to 6.30 am class only to find out that my pass have expired yesterday, and it is definitely my fault that I left my cardholder in my other coat in the morning rush. However, since I was there already I asked if I could attend the class and pay 3 hours later, receptionist told me that she can't do that. I absolutely understand, she is only doing her job, but since I was so happy to wake up on time and walked 20 mins under the rain, I wish she could have find a solution for me and have the amount being pended or something else. I felt so bad and disappointed to be rejected. All my excitement was totally killed towards continuing to practice there, although I loved all the teachers and classes as well. such a bummer! read more

I bought the 30 day trial pass and was very disappointed with my experience! The classes were way too crowded and there wasn't really a flow to the vinyasa class at all. I found it hard to focus and did not feel like I got any type of workout either. I wish I could get my money back. Feel like I wasted 30 dollars. Unfortunate, because I live so close to Coolidge Corner and would have loved to become a regular here! Would have been so convenient and easy. Oh well-- I'll just go back to my old studio! read more

I was very anxious for CCY to open as I was ready to make the transition from practicing at a gym to a dedicated yoga studio. I have not been disappointed. Aside from the calming and beautiful décor, the instructors each bring their own style to the classes and I've enjoyed experiencing all the classes I've taken so far. The location couldn't be better, right on the C line. Coolidge Corner has been ripe for a good yoga studio and it finally has one. read more

It's been almost a year since I started practicing at CYY(time really flies on the mat), I tried a couple of other studios with my friends but this one has always been my favorite. The staff is really nice and welcoming, the facility is beautiful. I really like Yailith as an instructor. Great vinyasa class. I attended two Forrest Yoga classes here, which were excellent. The studio is really cool - I love the set up and multiple levels. The teacher is excellent. I advise you not to set up your mat directly under the heating vent...bad mistake on my part. There's a little kitchen area, where I think you can buy tea and snacks. The entryway is very congested. read more

I've attended a few classes here and really wanted to love it because of the great reviews on Yelp, but I found the classes too crowded and not at all inclusive. For beginner students, it's important for their movements to be corrected if the bodies aren't properly aligned, and I noticed in the classes that the instructors were not into adjusting students. I was worried I would injure myself during the classes since I am relatively new to yoga. I've decided to try a different place that is more beginner friendly. All in all, seems like a nice studio, but not for me. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE! The location is incredibly convenient and the studio is very nice, but the teachers and the people are what make Coolidge Corner Yoga so awesome. I've taken classes with Lindsey, Tatyana, Lee, Nicole, Rachel, Nadine, and Tiffany. I've loved them all. Most of the time I go to the 9:15 am Vinyasa class and it's never crowded. However, the classes on nights and weekends do get a little packed, but not unbearably. I've never had to sign up for a class in advance to ensure a spot for my mat. read more

I visited CCY this past Saturday for a 2pm drop in class with Stephen. The studio was easy to find, clean, inviting, and warm. The check in process was easy (though the person at the desk asked me to sign a waiver after the class- which I then forgot to do- so lucky for them didn't get hurt!) The class was simply delightful. Stephen warmed us up with perfect pace. We worked up to a really lovely flow with some cool balances and hip openers. It was fun but had gravitas, challenging yet restorative, warm but not hot, just... delightful. Stephen provided some careful adjustments which fixed my alignment in one pose and allowed for greater depth in another. The whole time I felt very safe and cared for with lots of attention to form and thoughtful direction, as well as modifications for those who needed them. The flow was such a nice pace and ended with a wonderful long savasana. Music was soothing and not distracting. I left feeling grounded, open, and light. I will absolutely be returning to Stephen's class. I have a membership at another studio but would love to regularly attend the drop in classes. read more

Yes yes so much yes. I have finally found my happy place here. Everything from the beautiful decor and chill zen ambience to the smiling helpful staff to the sexy yoga clothing is perfect. The classes have all been wonderful but my favorite has been the Fundamentals class w/ Tatyana. I thought I knew what I was doing until this class. It's amazing how important alignment is during poses and this class gets right to the core of how one should yoga. It's been such a transformative experience for me! I've graduated to more advanced classes and am thrilled to now be able to keep up and look good doing it. An FYI- make sure to read the descriptions first bc there are a variety of styles and not every class might be what you're looking for. For example, Yin yoga is very slow and restorative as opposed to a flow/workout. Do it. read more

Took prenatal yoga with Dawn when I was 39 wks pregnant. I've been doing yoga for 20 yrs and am new to Boston and have been trying different studios. I was really troubled by her approach. She was critical and weirdly bossy -- particularly for a prenatal class and a new student she doesn't know. She tried to correct me at one point and I said, "This is how my body feels comfortable right now." And her response was, "I'm not fighting with you." I tried to just do what felt safe and comfortable for me during the class (I've actually taken prenatal and lots of other studios) and she kept coming back and being really nit picky and weird to me. If you have a strong yoga practice, want a safe class - or even just want someone to be nice to you - avoid Dawn! Super bad energy. read more

Tried classes with a few teachers including Izzy (light-hearted, fun), Nadine (observant, empathetic), Dan (warm, empathetic), Emily (warm, empathetic), Kiara (grounded, fun), and Dawn. All are wonderful, compassionate, and patient teachers. Unfortunately the one negative experience I had in class was with Dawn; she allows our mistakes to affect her emotionally (she has said she found something perturbing out loud in class) and instead of teaching us how to do something correctly (or how to achieve the position she has in mind) she just tells us to undertake a specific alternative position/move without giving us the chance to work towards the "optimal" desired position. There is negativity emanating from her. If it's not done her way it is the wrong way. This is the first time since I started practicing yoga years ago (and took lessons in the Berkshires and other studios in Boston) that I have come across such a regimental & judgemental yoga teacher. She must have good intentions but I did not feel elated in her class (as I do with all the others) and perhaps she needs to work on teaching techniques. Other than that, the studio is great, very clean. Folks at the check-in desk are generally welcoming; a couple of them (do not know their names) are either spaced out (and don't see me standing right in front of them) or they are obnoxious and ignore me to check in someone behind me instead. Guess the overall experience is a-ok. read more

If I can give this place 10 stars, I'd do so without any hesitation! Years ago, I took a few yoga classes at my local gym but I've never managed to grow much of an interest. It was not until recently that I gave yoga a second chance after joining Classpass. After trying a few studios in Boston and in NYC, my love for yoga was still so so until I set foot in Coolidge Corner Yoga. Right after my first class, I knew 3 visits a month through Classpass would not be realistic. I signed up for the 30 days for $30 new member special for my first month and I have now happily converted to the regular membership. What makes Coolidge Corner Yoga so unique? - front desk staff is super friendly and always greets you with a warm smile upon check in - many classes offered throughout the day - different types of yoga classes - many teachers to choose from, each with their own style of teaching but all excellent - teachers not only demonstrate but they go around the room to fix students' posture/poses - lovely interior decorations - super clean and love the fact there are 3 bathrooms so it's never a long wait - also love love love to rest in shavasana on the cherry wood floor at the end of each practice -- so comfortable! There is truly a class for everyone including kids! So far I have tried out the vinyasa flow, core flow, fundamentals and forrest yoga and I love them all! The fundamentals classes have been so valuable to my practice and assisted me in ramping up with the basics of yoga and the proper alignment so I could start attending regular flow practices without feeling lost. The vinyasa flows taught by different teachers can vary between cardio, stretch and strength building, a great mixture depending on what you want to work on. I started going to forrest yoga and it is just so soothing! Special thanks to Nadine Channaoui who's made me fall in love with yoga, Laura Ahrens who makes me a stronger and more focused person after each practice and Shilpa Reddy for her lovely Saturday morning practice. Honestly there is something special and magical about this place... a place filled with lots and lots of positive energy. Nowadays if I am not at work, in school or at home sleeping, you know where I am! *wink* *wink* read more

Coolidge Yoga is getting me through quarantine! I started at the South End studio in mid-December and was really finding my groove with class schedule and teachers (typically went to Tiffany and Gerard's classes for scheduling reasons but they're also AMAZING). I started with the 30 days for $30 and then got a three month pass. Then, quarantine hit! I've been doing a class or two per day (Tiffany, Dana, and Owen are some of my favorite online teachers!) and it's been the perfect way to destress during a pandemic (if that's even possible). Can't wait to get back to the studio! read more

First time here and took advantage of the free mat offer on Yelp when you check-in. Attended a 6:30am vinyasa class and was delighted to discover it was only $10 for a drop-in. So very thankful to have found the amazing community at CCY. I've been practicing at this studio since its opening in 2013 and find the facilities, teachers, and fellow yogis to exceed others in the area. This is a great place for the experienced and the beginner; the resident or the traveler; all are welcome at CCY. The teaching staff is creative and supportive and the class line up offers everything from traditional vinyasa to kids yoga, hip hop flows, and a meditation class. It has become my second OM and I know you won't be disappointed! read more

This place is pretty average as far as yoga studios go. I came here last night with a friend for the first time to try it out as I am always looking for a new yoga studio to go to. The woman who checked me in was very nice and I thought that the building and room itself that the class was in was very well maintained and clean. I took the 7:30 PM Vinyasa yoga class with Gerard and it was not overly crowded which is something I often find at yoga studios so I was happy to have space around me. My problem with this studio was the class itself. The instructor was so slow with everything we did. We did not have any challenging poses whatsoever during the hour and thirty minutes of practice. It was definitely a little disappointing. I might reconsider coming back here with a different instructor as the studio was nice but the class itself left me feeling bored and unfulfilled.. read more

After my 30 day introductory pass was up, I decided to spring and get the monthly unlimited pass because I love the studio that much. Aside from the studio and teachers being absolutely amazing, the price for this place is so reasonable (especially considering it's Coolidge Corner!). $110 a month is a steal compared to some of the other studios I've seen. Either way, I'm glad that CCY is here to stay and I'm glad to be part of this great community. read more

I've been going to Coolidge Corner Yoga for the past two months and have been extremely happy with my experience so far. Their $30 for 30 days new student special was a great way for me (a novice) to try many different yoga styles and teachers in order to find the classes that worked best for me. All of the instructors have been very knowledgeable, friendly, and have offered variations to poses in order to scale the difficulty level of the class - Tatyana, Lee and Sandy are a few of my favorites. The price is very reasonable and in-line with other studios in the Greater Boston Area, and I've always left class feeling great. For monthly or yearly members, being able to store your mat at the studio is extremely helpful to those with long commutes on the T. I'm looking forward to many more months practicing yoga at Coolidge Corner Yoga. read more

This is a really well thought out beautiful studio. I enjoy the layout a lot and everything just looks so nice. Coolidge Yoga is a nice studio, conveniently located right off the green line at Coolidge Corner. I've only taken a couple classes at the studio, but had a pleasant visit each time. The front desk staff is always nice and the studio is clean. I love the natural light one of the rooms gets; however they PACK the classes. Like sardines status. One instructor was a little hard to follow, but I remember enjoying the flow overall. I really like that the studio offers a variety of classes and it has a very welcoming vibe (no one likes walking into a new studio feeling like an outsider, right?). What's great is you will leave feeling calm and brand new, which is the perfect state to be in to grocery shop at Trader Joe's a second away. That way, you won't get irrationally angry when someone literally buys ALL the cauliflower rice. (Seriously, dude. Did you really need to buy an entire cart full of cauliflower rice? #imnotbitter #yourebitter). Whoa, this went off the rails. Back to Coolidge Yoga. Yes, come and take a class. It may get busy, but definitely worth a visit. read more
