It's now run by a Cuban couple and the husband is a professional Cuban baker. They make fresh desserts, sandwiches, cakes and ice cream cakes. Please don't judge the place by it's old 80s tiles, but rather by the hard working people behind the counter. They do need to update this place and make it "look" like the million bucks their personalities are worth. Supporting this local baker and his wife means you'll be supporting their small business dreams. I hope and pray for amazing success. Between the colorful atmosphere, the music, the candy, and the huge variety of ice cream flavors, the whole shop feels like an experience instead of just a dessert stop.
