The lady serving was friendly at first until the ice cream fell on the floor as it had been precariously placed on the cone. She just said: "that's a shame". I asked for it to be replaced as I had eaten barely any- we hadn't even paid yet! She replaced it with a bad attitude. The ambience was ok. It was a clean, the seating is comfortable and they have some tables and chairs outside as well.

We were offered samples. I tried the guava one and my partner got the raspberry chocolate. They were both excellent choices. We ended up getting a slice of the original and the passion fruit. The crust was perfect. The pie tasted like a bunch of fresh key limes were squeezed to produce a deliciously tart final product. My personal favorite was the passion fruit.

Between the colorful atmosphere, the music, the candy, and the huge variety of ice cream flavors, the whole shop feels like an experience instead of just a dessert stop. It has this fun, chaotic energy in the best way possible, and somehow it all comes together perfectly. The ice cream itself was incredibly creamy and packed with flavor, but honestly the unique vibe of the place is what makes it really stand out. Definitely not your average ice cream shop. We arrived Friday evening and didn't have a reservation but we were greeted and seated fast. Our server was awesome. He was friendly and knowledgable and had great recommendations on both food and drinks. He answered any questions we had regarding the menu. We followed his recommendations on our appetizers and drink choices and we are so glad we did. Everything was delicious, fresh and flavorful. The ambiance is awesome and the restaurant is beautiful. They were playing music, I'm not sure if they do this all the time or just at night. This was my first time here and I'll definitely be back. Can't say enough good things about our experience. I had previously been to another location in 288th Street in Homestead... and I found out while there about this location which is closer to my home. It is a smaller location and does not have the selection the one in 288 has... mainly it's missing cakes. But it gets the job done for me... as I was just looking for a good but cheap Cuban breakfast... eggs, croquettes, Cuban toast, cafe con leche. The breakfast was good, cheap and quite filling! I attached pictures of the meal and prices for anyone interested. One thing though, besides the cakes, is that because it's a small location, they don't have a lot of employees. I placed a large to go order, someone else did at the same time, and another customer came in just to get a few pastries and croquettes. The staff was a bit overwhelmed so it took a bit of time to get the food. A great little bakery in south Homestead if anyone wants to get their Cuban pastry/croquette fix. I will come back.
