This is a local, homemade ice cream place that is related to the restaurant next door, Havana Spice. The ice cream is great! When we went they had over 20 different flavors, ranging from guava cheesecake to Nutella. A small costs $7, but three free toppings are included. The ice cream is rich and delicious and the flavors stand out. The inside is insane. In a good way? In a bad way? I have no idea. But absolutely insane. You can sit with the Simpsons family (and Yoda). Chucky guards the water cooler. A massive Ninja Turtle greets you at the door. You can also buy a little bit of anything here. A case for your bananas? A fancy ice cream cup? Maybe you need a salt shaker shaped like a ghost. It's all here! In fact, I think almost everything is for sale. And you will find everything here. The people are nice, the ice cream is great, and you could spend hours just looking around. Havana Sugar is an experience.

Surprised of the quality of ice cream and quirky atmosphere! This place is like a mix of a souvenir shop and ice cream parlor. They have your usual flavors and some unique flavors as well. If you have kids and are near by, take them in got a nice surprise.

Nice cool treats but a little overpriced. Tons of flavors but place is very packed with decor and needs to scale back on that for sure.

Now owned by a small family. They're not just a ice cream joint' they also have food! I LOVE their chicken tenders and fries! So many things and for such a good price! As soon as you walk in you have freezers to your left which have ice cream cakes and to-go ice cream bars. Then infront you have a glass to see all the toppings you could add. Now if you look to the right you have a big wall of pictures of all the ice creams combinations you can have! The owners are very nice' only down side is now they close earlier then they did :( but that's okay. The ice cream is still da bomb.com!

I think he straight up lived there and sold ice cream. Gross. This place has completely changed. I'm a local and have lived nearby for 8 years now. It's now run by a Cuban couple and the husband is a professional Cuban baker. They make fresh desserts, sandwiches, cakes and ice cream cakes. Please don't judge the place by it's old 80s tiles, but rather by the hard working people behind the counter. They do need to update this place and make it "look" like the million bucks their personalities are worth. Supporting this local baker and his wife means you'll be supporting their small business dreams. I hope and pray for amazing success. It's perfectly located and gets packed at every event in Fruit and Spice Park. Who wouldn't want an ice cream after a hot day at a park? Perfect spot, perfect location, perfect business owners!

There is a huge variety of fruits and combinations that you can customize and choose from for your drinks (either milkshake or smoothie). The smoothies were really refreshing and a large portion so the $10 was well worth it. In the back, there was a large seating area with also some food trucks if you wanted something savory. But the other hidden stars of the places are all the animals that you can see and even feed. They had everything from iguanas, turtles, sheep, emus, goats etc. Such a fun detour that is mandatory to stop out if you are in the area!

I decided I might as well get a shake since the line was long- I got the Mamey milkshake since I never had Mamey before. It is good. I really can't describe it- not sweet. Creamy. Yeah, kind of like sweet potato. We'll see how my tummy feels after the milk in the shake By the way- this is a large cup. I'm definitely not going to finish this!!! It's great for tourists ands kids. It was too hot for me to walk around and look at the animals- so go in the morning. That's it. I'm leaving. Apparently there's wine tasting 3 miles down the road!

They explained all the options, and waited for us to make up our minds. While they fried our order to perfection, I asked if I could take pictures and they said yes (pics attached). We ordered 14 churros for $7 dollars. The churros were small or thin, I was envisioned the larger size; but these little bad boys didn't disappoint! They were so good! We couldn't eat just one! They were tasty and chewy. We asked for light sugar and cinnamon (gotta cut back on the azucar). Great bunch of attentive young people working there...so glad I got a chance to support small local business. This also shows the mind set and direction of their management team, focused and goal-oriented. Keep up the great work, and continue your high level of customer service; the food will always be great! All in all, a great experience, we will be back!
