Sweets and Eats is pretty much a staple in Seymour. Ownership has changed much over the years, and as a result the quality of the products alters, too. That being said, I never had a bad experience here, but some experiences are better than others.
Sweets and Eats serves soft-serve ice cream, hard ice cream, and some hot foods. It's quite similar to a Dairy Queen. As far as I know, their ice cream isn't freshly made for them. I believe they serve national-brand stuff. Knowing that, you definitely shouldn't expect the quality of ice cream you'd get at a dairy farm.
If it's a hot summer's day and you need a cool treat, Sweets & Eats will most definitely do the trick. They have all of the traditional ice cream toppings, sundaes, etc. so you'll have a fair amount of choices.
As for the food, it's typical fast-food quality stuff. Deep fried chicken, french fries, average burgers, hot dogs, etc. Again, not excellent, but good if you need a good greasy fix.
Overall, Sweets and Eats is your average fast food establishment. read more
