I ordered my favorite, dark chocolate almond clusters, as well as English toffee, chocolate peanut clusters, almond bark, and chocolate hazelnuts. It was delivered quickly and everything was nicely individually packaged. The two squares of English toffee I ordered were like two bricks. Massive and covered in powdery almond pieces. They tasted good, but were too hard and thick. I prefer smaller pieces of toffee rolled in larger pieces of almond. I wasn't too impressed with the almond clusters or bark, either. It tasted okay and had lots of almonds in each bite, but the dark chocolate was overly sweet and tasted like the type of chocolate used in grocery store candy bars, even though they make it right there. The dark chocolate peanut clusters were the best item. They had a wonderful touch of salt that was so delicious. I would definitely go back for more of those. Next time, I'd like to try a caramel apple and chocolate dipped strawberries. Both look scrumptious on their website.

Whether you're here for a sweet pickmeup for yourself or grabbing a beautifully packaged collection of individually wrapped treats as a gift, this location has got you covered! The staff keeps this store fully stocked and organized, making gift selection a breeze. As you walk into the shop, you'll be surrounded by walls of pre-packaged bags full of varying flavors of chocolates and in the center, piles of these personal sized bars for you to pick and choose from to create your own bag. It's been a while since I've set foot in one of the Ghirardelli storefronts and they've introduced some new flavors. Fortunately, they still offer a free sample (per person) so if there's a flavor you're interested in, ask to give it a try! On this visit, we were especially interested in their series of dark chocolates. To our pleasant surprise, they had all their signature darks all in one gift bag which included a 60% sea salt, 72% dark, 86% dark, and a 92% dark. In addition, they had a special discount for the gift bags which made it that much more enticing to purchase! Otherwise, the retail price can be a bit high and they also charge extra for additional paper bags. Overall, Ghirardelli is my personal favorite, and being a local establishment, it'll always be a top choice for residents and visitors. This location is no exception to that and the staff here do a great job representing the brand. Its location as an outlet makes the prices extremely competitive. Their gift bags are presented with vibrant colors, perfect for any occasion. As an adult coming into this candy shop, I am always ready to get chocolate wasted!

The…read moreolder gentleman manning the shop was taking a break outside, saw us approaching, and immediately went to open up. It's a cute and cozy shop filled to the brim with European goodies. Lots and lots of chocolate and snacks (gummies, candies, biscuits, cookies, etc.), dried pasta, sauces, soup mixes, and so much more. Definitely a lot to look and and the variety is top notch with lots that are difficult to find elsewhere if you're not specifically at a European market. While checking out, I was eyeballing some of the chocolates that they had at the counter and the gentleman working was super nice enough to give my boyfriend and I some samples. Super friendly, welcoming, and giving the best grandpa vibes ever. I got some tea biscuits of various sizes and some really fun looking Garfield hazelnut wafer cookies and my boyfriend got himself some pasta and dried soups. Definitely will stop by again the next time I'm in the area.
