CASH only. If u forget to take cash there's a machine on site to withdraw.

I was given the wrong colour. I asked for #6 which she confirmed. As soon as it started going on I flagged that it wasn't right but was told it would match that colour by the time the treatment was finished. It didn't. Spent $52 on a colour I didn't want.

That's more than double what's listed on their website, which clearly says $32. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would've preferred they just told me they couldn't take me, rather than try to overcharge me like that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's a definite no for this location. Disappointing experience.

I almost always write 5 Star, yelp previews, the caution beware, do not go here. I honestly debated whether I was gonna write this review because these are hard-working women, but they royally screwed up and I've been living in pain for two months. Initially, I was excited to find this place in West Hollywood for a fair price, but too many people go here. The nail techs are very sweet, but one of them was unnecessarily aggressive with my toes, causing them to bleed during the pedicure, and trapping blood under the toenail ever since. I got a mani pedi right before Mardi Gras in February, and the manicure chipped 2 days later. It got worse by the day and was just disgraceful after five days. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It took me four times to call and request a refund, many back-and-forth text messages which resulted in the nail tech thinking I was trying to scam her before finally refunding a fraction of the cost.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Y'all got the wrong focus in your hustle. You need higher sanitation practices and training that's delicate & does not cause bleeding. I'm going to have to go to the doctor for this, and I want a full refund on the pedicure. Worse nail job ever. Detrimental truthfully. Stay away from this place read more

I wanted to like this place, because it's close but my experience fell short. My manicure felt rushed, and my pedicure didn't receive the attention or care I've come to expect from a quality nail spa. Allison did my pedicure and it turned out great! [[HIGHLIGHT]]She really is so kind, and the other staff at the salon are very pleasant as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They are truly nice ladies!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is one of the rare nail salons that she's actually not totally rude-Unlike all the others that I deal with on a regular.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But she doesn't take credit cards insists that you not put a note in Venmo or Zelle and wants you to only pay cash. She up charges and adds services without telling you and then shames you outloud if you don't leave additional additional tip for her even though she's the owner and after she has added seven to $15 of services you thought were included when she upsold you. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Other than that, she's not totally rude.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I just don't like the upselling, changing in price and being almost forced to pay. read more

No no no! Avoid! My poor cuticles are sore and bleeding after multiple hand washes. I have dark lines in my polish that she claimed she couldn't see. The 3 stars are for my decent pedicure that was $38 which is around what I normally pay but $60 for a dip manicure of this quality is bogus! Was in pain during my manicure the whole time sawed off any real nails I had and my cuticles got torn up with it. read more

Ok so I just moved here and I've been struggling to find a good nail salon. I will say, I have high expectations. It's 5pm and I have somewhere to be in the morning so really pressed for time. I go here, immediately I know I won't like it unfortunately because of the selection of nail polish brands. (No gel brand, Essie, zoya, little opi, and a bunch of random brands I never heard of but appear to be cheap). I asked the nail tech for French with different colors on my hands and it seemed to be a problem so I said never mind I'll just choose a color. She obviously said something rude about me in her language. I don't love the way she removed my gel and overall felt rushed and not valued as a customer. My nails aren't terrible - but the customer service is. Very poor customer service. Cash only. I only had my credit card. She told me cash only but then someone said I could Zelle, I did and I went to give the nail tech the cash I had for tip. She didn't say thank you, instead her and the other woman who mentioned Zelle, yelled and said I can't leave until they confirm payment. I showed her it was paid. Literally a second after, they received payment. Still no thank you lol Never again read more

Had the most amazing experience at Sweetley Nails! I went in for a pedicure to get ready for my wedding and brought my sister (Maid of Honor) with me to get one done as well. The women that did our pedicures were so nice! My sister convinced me to get acrylic nails so I did and MY GOODNESS!!!! Ana is fast and extremely precise! I've been to this nail place twice and have bad experiences both times. Terrible service! I asked for my toe nails to be cut really short because they grow really fast and apparently they charge $3 more to cut your nails and they still wouldn't go as short as I wanted. No where on any of their price listings does it mention it's $3 more for nail cutting, which would bring a simple color change from $15 to $18. They were rude the entire time. The only reason I came back after my first bad experience was because it's the closest to me and I thought surely that was just an off day, but nope! They're just terrible. I won't be back. read more

What makes this situation frustrating is the strict enforcement of the company's cancellation policy, which charges customers a 50% fee when canceling less than 24hrs in advance. It is only fair that the same level of accountability be upheld on both sides. Customers are expected to respect the policy, and in return, the business should demonstrate the same consideration and reliability. Not be compensated with a $5 discount. When if I had canceled the appointment would have been charged $30. Experiencing this issue more than once concerns me about their consistency and professionalism. I hope improvements are made to better manage scheduling or compensation.

Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

I came back for a refill, and two days later was in some of the most pain I've ever been in due to a cuticle infection. I voiced concerns that my skin was being cut, but they were shrugged off. After coming into the salon to show them the infection, the front desk staff was polite and helpful advising they would reach out to the owner and share photos they took of the nail. Days passed and I followed up again via phone as I didn't hear back. The owner of the salon requested PHI pertaining to the infection, including what Rx I was on, in order to even consider a refund. Initially, a gift card for the amount spent on the service was offered in lieu of a refund. I mentioned I was not comfortable receiving another service, and received a call back letting me know the owner was willing to grant a refund. Overall, the back and forth took about a week and a half. I was new to the entire gelx process, and am posting this review to let anyone else looking to embark on that journey know they should ask questions and voice their concerns. There are seemingly many happy patrons, but this was my individual experience.

Okay so I only really went here because I was waiting the usual "forever" on my prescription at walgreens across the street. and the sign said 22.95 mani-pedi. I was like okay ill see what happens. If you read the fine print it says Mon-Wed Only. So i was a little surprised when I rang up for 26. The ladies were friendly, but I almost felt like they were talking about me in whatever language they speak I couldn't understand. The lady doing my pedicure didnt say 2 words to me. If your black don't go here, you'll have to pay first before they do anything. Mean while the Latina white Asian and Arab women sit there pretty until done and then pay. They do a good job, but if you get one of the racist nail techs good luck with the nail polish staying on. The owner is wonderful, but two of the nail techs are very racist, not all of them. Almost everyone one there was uncomfortable when they heard her say that because Los Angeles is a progressive state so most non black people aren't ok with it. read more

I came in for a fill and when removing a nail that was falling off the nail tech took off half of my natural nail and told me that she would just put a tip on top of it even though it hurt. I told her no and she insisted that I continue with the fill - instead I had her just remove all of the nails because I wasn't going to put a tip on half a nail and let it get infected underneath. Still charged me for nail removal. read more

Carla greeted me with a big smile and immediately offered drinks--regular or sparkling water, red wine, champagne, tea, even Vietnamese coffee. Plus a cookie. How nice is that?! The vibe inside is super chill. They play actual good jazz, not the usual Top 100 playlist radio junk blasting in most salons. It made the whole place feel calm instead of chaotic. I feel like I'm trapped in a teenager's playlist in most nail salons. This place gets it. Keep it classy, please don't change. Their color selection is gorgeous--lots of pretty, glittery, iridescent shades--and they've got nail art samples out so you can see ideas before committing. They've only been open 3 months, but the setup is really polished. Pedicure area gets bonus points for sturdy disposable liners, not those sad plastic bags most places use. Clean and secure. Prices are reasonable, and Vanessa did a great pedicure: careful, detailed, and really good at what she does. Not the best morning, but walking in here definitely turned the day around.

During my appointment, I didn't see a new sanitized kit being opened, and after the tools were used, they appeared to be placed back into a storage container rather than into a separate container for sanitizing. I don't know what their cleaning process is behind the scenes, so I can't say whether the tools were properly disinfected. However, as someone with very sensitive skin and multiple allergies, this made me feel uncomfortable. This is simply my personal experience. I appreciated the service, but I left with concerns about the tool sanitization process, and for that reason I don't feel comfortable returning.

Kim did my signature pedicure, and the callus treatment was no joke: cheese grater, then coarse sponge, full heel-rescue operation. I just got a simple French gel manicure but within a few days, two of my nails broke. I called to see if they could help fix them but the manager got super defensive and blamed me for not getting acrylics. She even snapped at me and asked, "Well, what do you want from us?" in a really rude tone. I went in the next day, hoping things would go better but I was greeted with the same attitude from both the manager and another employee. The nail tech looked at my nails and started lecturing me about why I shouldn't have gotten gel, in a really condescending way. I brushed it off and agreed to the extra charge they mentioned. While fixing my nails, the manager put an extension on one and started filing the other one that was still breaking. I calmly asked, "Should we just cut this nail?" and out of nowhere, she started yelling at me and literally spitting while she spoke. She was shouting something like "NO, I'M GOING TO--" and basically forced her own plan without letting me finish. At that point, I was so overwhelmed and emotional I honestly almost cried. I've never felt that disrespected at a business before. The nails didn't even turn out that great but I was too scared and uncomfortable to say anything, so I just left. Please don't go here. It was truly a horrifying experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.
