Once again she delivers amazing cakes!! We used her a few years ago and ordered cupcakes for my son's birthday. And yesterday we celebrated both our kids! We picked a vanilla hazelnut and a strawberry vanilla cake. Everybody went crazy about it. The cakes were not only beautiful but delicious! Guest took some more to go home with! I absolutely recommend her again and again! Thank you so much for making the process so smooth!
Jane was amazing! I placed an order with her for two dozen cupcakes to be delivered for my sister In laws birthday. I'm in Michigan and she went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the order! I can't thank her enough for doing such an amazing job. The cupcakes were a hit. My family loved them!!! I highly recommend Jane! She is very professional and very easy to work with, even from another state.
I found Sweetherapy through yelp. I was in search for a home made baker. We met up quite a bit before my cake date to try her cupcakes. They were very delicious!! She is a very sweet woman and I enjoyed talking to her. She was very efficient and asked a lot of questions to get all the details. She advised me that I had up until the Wednesday before to finalize the cake as that is when she makes the cakes. I originally placed the order for 40 people but on the Sunday before I reached out to her to change it to 50 as the image she provided me was for 50 people. We confirmed how the cake was going to be made and the flavors and she agreed with me. I have attached the image of what the cake was supposed to be vs. what I got. Both me and my daughter were extremely upset. The cake did not look like the original image. Jane did reach out to me to tell me that she had an issue but did not tell me on the phone that the cake was not going to look like what we requested. I would have told her to do the cake without the bows. We wanted simple. The flavors were to be strawberry on one layer and oreos mixed in the vanilla cake on the 2nd layer. The first layer was marble with a oreo cream center and the top layer was strawberry. My guests did enjoy the cake. It was very moist and flavorful. She did express her sincerest apologies and did not charge me full price for what I ordered.

They have been making my familys cakes for every occasion for more than 6 years! She listens to every single detail and description you tell her. There is not one cake I can stay is my favorite that she has made. Well actually this past weekend she made my sister-in-law a baby shower cake and it was beautiful and it tasted amazing but all of her cakes are beautiful and delicious. If you are looking for a cake, cupcakes, cake pops or any of your favorite sweet treats!! Do not go any further CONTACT SWEETHERAPY GOURMET CUPCAKES!! THEY ARE THE BEST IN ALL OF FLORIDA!!!
Jane is truly a godsend. She is a very sweet and personable woman, and quickly responds to any form of communication. I came in to town for vacation and to celebrate my father in law's birthday. I called three days before I needed the cake, which is VERY last minute and Jane went above and beyond to accommodate my request--a dairy-free, nut-free chocolate cake. You couldn't even tell it was dairy-free, tasted just like a regular chocolate cake! It was rich and flavorful, and this is coming from someone who doesn't particularly like chocolate cake. I would also like to point out that I didn't even specify a design; the one you see in the picture below is straight from Jane's creative mind. I cannot thank Jane enough for coming through for me! P.S. Anyone with an allergy need not be skeptical. Jane assured me that she cooks all of her special request cakes separately so there's no risk of cross-contamination!

The owner did such an amazing job responding to my messages in a timely manner, gave me a great price on a custom cake design that I had, and the taste of the cake was so delicious and moist. I initially went with the idea of a Tabla cake for my Dads 60th birthday and the owner delivered just that! There were so many special flavors available but we went with carrot cake with pecans and it was a HIT! Everyone loved how moist and flavorful the cake was, which we were nervous about because usually fondant cakes don't taste the best! I expressed that I wanted the cake to withhold a drive to Orlando and it did just that! She accommodated to all our needs while still managing to keep our ideas in mind! Definitely recommending to all my friends and family in the Pembroke Pines/ Cooper City area!

This bakery deserves more than five stars. Sweetherapy is an online bakery business only, but DO NOT let this stop you from ordering. Jane (the owner) is very accommodating with easy ordering and quick response times. On the website, you can either call or email Jane with questions. I emailed Jane to inquire about ordering cupcakes for my son's third birthday party. I was looking for cupcakes with either a train and/or cars theme. Within 24 hours, Jane had emailed back with several picture ideas from Thomas the Train themes to Pixar Cars themes. In the end, Pixar Cars themed cupcakes and cake pops were decided for my son's third birthday. Our order was placed online seven days in advance and Jane communicated daily via email about next steps - cost, prop ideas, cake flavors, etc. All communication was made through email and Jane ensured the entire process was simple and easy. A 50% deposit is requested prior to cake preparations and your remaining balance is due upon delivery or pick-up of goodies. Jane emailed a Paypal invoice with a breakdown of costs with the option to pay by credit card in full or the deposit only. I paid in full and all items were picked up in a mutually agreed location; I elected for pick-up instead of delivery. I was more than pleased with Jane's professionalism and thoroughness. The design of the cupcakes and cake pops was over the top from the presentation to the packaging. Everything was a hit for my son's third birthday party. The kids and caregivers LOVED the flavor and moistness of the cupcakes and cake pops. Delicious! Jane exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Sweetherapy for any occasion. DO NOT let this online business deter you from ordering. Jane is more than accommodating to customers' needs and concerns. So, yes, yum. I'm not a cupcake connoisseur at all, so don't take my word for it and try this place yourself! A large group of us started planning a surprise birthday for none other than Blue, our Broward CM. I opted to handle the cake and decided that cupcakes would be easier and we wouldn't have to worry about cutting the cake, forks etc. I did some "yelping" of course and found this bakery close enough to my house. I went in about 8 or 9 days before the party to get a sense of what they had to offer and ultimately place my order. I found out ahead of time that the birthday boy's favorites were red velvet and coconut and luckily these are two of their "regular" flavors which meant I got to sample in store. The owner asked me if I would prefer red velvet or red velvet crunch and I gave her a look like "hmmm you tell me?". I sampled the red velvet crunch and fell in love. Hello, all cupcakes should come with some secret crunch! Anyways, order was placed, 25 red velvet crunch, 25 coconut (I opted for mini size to hopefully fit in ones mouth in one go), all of course with blue frosting for our theme and I was out the door. I knew Steven C. would be disappointed if I didn't bring him home a little something so I also bought a vanilla guava and chocolate nutella cupcake to go. The vanilla guava was nice and had good hints of guava, but the chocolate nutella was the star!! The owner was extremely helpful and friendly and was willing to accommodate me in any way. My order was ready for pick up exactly when I told her I would be there and she gave me lots of instructions to make sure I didn't smush them or topple them over, one of my deepest fears, but the box itself was pretty sturdy and held each cupcake in it's place. Next time I need cupcakes, cake pops or a specialty cake I'll be going here! Check out their menu there are lots of crazy flavors that you won't find elsewhere. read more

This review is way overdue! Jane please forgive me for taking so long. I Was planning my daughter's baby shower from out of town, and I came across Yelp reviews for my sweet therapy cakes and cupcakes. I love the reviews, so I gave Jane a call. And boy I am so happy that I did! Jane's cakes are not only lovely and impeccably decorated, but honestly the most delicious cakes that myself and my family has ever had. And that says a lot because we like Cake! We chose a chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling and the strawberry cake with Vanilla butter cream filling. Both cakes are magnificent! Jane was very easy to work with. She was very accommodating as I didn't give her much time, and her price was very reasonable. I called the day before the party and they were able to give us a selection of custom cupcakes that were out of this world . The cupcakes were the hit of the party and I will definitely be coming back on the next occasion or maybe just to have a delicious cupcake. They even had cupcake stands that you could rent which showcased the cupcakes and made a beautiful centerpiece.
