This is my first review of 2026, and it was a pretty sweet way to start the year. We stopped by and ordered the Choconut, which was really good. Fresh, creamy, and made right in front of you. I came with my baby, and he absolutely loved watching them roll the ice cream. Honestly, that part alone kept him entertained the whole time. The staff was friendly . The only reason this isn't a full 5 stars is that the outside area could use a bit of cleaning and touch-up. Nothing major, just something that would make the first impression match how good the ice cream is. My son brought us to this place after we had dinner at a nearby restaurant . Just like cold stone, they scrape the ice cream right in front of you. Pretty cool to watch. Not as many flavors as some other spots but good service, a little indoor seating with more outside and the flavors thy do have are delicious. I haven't tried the rolls or boba but I'm sure they are fantastic as well. I highly recommend the stellar coffee and the tangerine sorbet. read more

This place is awesome, so many great dessert options. My family and I generally come here after a night out to indulge ourselves with some sweet goodness. My favorite item is the Gimme S'more or Cookie Butter rolled ice cream, either option you can't go wrong with. My wife usually gets the Fruit Basket Egg Waffle (which is a waffle topped with fruits, ice cream and whipped cream), so yummy. They are open late nights and usually there is a long wait, but if you order in advance, you can avoid those wait times. I haven't been here in a very long time... clearly walking in you can tell things have changed. The ambiance is different & not for the better. Before this place was a fun cute place to bring kids with art on the wall and now it's all brown and minimalist. The staff is very different, when receiving our food it was just yelled what it was and the children kept asking over and over if things wete theirs. Even though the staff had gotten their name. The girl at the register was very nice. I believe she had been there a while. I asked her if they changed owners and she said about two years ago!!!!! I was baffled that it had been that long since I was there. The "ice cream" was good, but the toppings were horrible. We had Oreos and rainbow sprinkles. Cool Spot was recommended by a friend of mine so I was excited to go visit. Location - great location with plenty of parking and easily accessible from 95. The place/store inside was not what I was expecting. It is dated, needs some TLC and someone to attend to the outside small amount of seating, and garbage. There seems to have been some indoor seating but was removed. The place is extremely busy and no clear indication where the line started or ended. There's just people everywhere. I little too chaotic for me. They had plenty of people working and they are working very hard with the amount of foot traffic and delivery takeout orders. I give them props for managing that pretty well. It takes about 15-25 mins to get your order after you stood in a line to order so be patient if you decide to go. Dessert - I ordered a Build My Own Roll with strawberry rolled ice cream and strawberries and bananas in it with strawberry syrup and more fresh strawberries on top lol. We also ordered Build My Own Roll with Coffee ice cream with brownie and Oreo mix ins and Kit Kat/chocolate sauce topping. I thought it was good nothing spectacular about it just basic ice cream. They do offer many other items like Boba and other desserts that could be appealing to most. I wish Cool Spot much success and if you decide to go I hope you enjoy it more than I did. read more

With Covid-19, I have become very self-indulgent. Evenings lately have been spent going out for ice cream. This "Cool Spot" has been my partner in crime. It is hard to resist the many ice cream roll choices that you can choose from. This evening I got the birthday cake roll for my mother-in-law since her 87th birthday is coming up in a few days. She loved it! I got the key lime pie ice cream roll. It was delicious! The only thing missing was some whipped cream on top. The decor of the parlor is fun. I took some pictures for your enjoyment. There were a few tables outside to eat; but due to Covid-19 we didn't stay because there were too many people. We ate in the car on our way home. They also have bubble tea and some other menu choices that I haven't tried. It is hard to settle for anything else when you have so many ice cream goodies. Parking is ample. No, no, no. Maybe I just don't like rolled ice cream, as all the flavors taste the same and seem to have that flavorless freezer burned quality. I'd say go here for the experience if you like to wait in a long line for inevitably lackluster tasting food. The portions are super small and overpriced. I tried Cool Spot yesterday, for the first time. It will not be the last time. They roll their ice cream, it's really nice to be able to watch how they make your ice cream roll. I got mint ice cream with sprinkles, marshmallow sauce and a topping of crushed waffle cone and banana! It sounds like a lot but it really wasn't. It was not overdone so you can't take the ice cream! Cool Spot has a really extensive menu when it comes to flavors of ice cream, toppings and boba tea flavors. They only have one size boba tea which is pretty large for me. I have been here several times and they have seating indoors and outdoors. I find their prices reasonable and their online ordering system really easy. I love their egg waffles. They make it fresh but it takes about 10 minutes. They have a back and front door where you can enter either way. There's parking on both sides. read more

This place would get a better rating if their customer service was better. They don't greet us when we come in or say anything nice about us coming back! Overall, they are not very friendly there & it is such a shame, because their products being sold are pretty good. No complaints on taste, even though one would be about being a bit pricey. Anyway, we enjoy the slushes & they are super refreshing. However, one thing I didn't like was that they put the warm/hot bubble waffle in a plastic cup rather than a paper holder like most other locations. The reason being that the heat from the waffle & the plastic cup is no good health-wise. You can tell from the photo, it was steamy & that can release chemicals. I'm sure not everyone cares, but I think it is something to keep in mind. I wouldn't want to order it often if that is the case. Anyway, it just kind of irked my health-freak side a bit tbh! Would come back because it is closest to my home & product is good! Only reason why I wouldn't as frequent would be due to customer service is not up to par. The mint chip was richer than the marshmallow ice cream. I've always preferred normal ice cream since rolled ice cream feels less in volume and flavor. My go-to ice cream shop. Their ice cream rolls are the best! I was hesitant at first because the other places I've tried in the past always came out icy, but not Cool Spot! Their rolled ice cream definitely keeps its creamy-ness despite being flash frozen. Plus, you can customize your order however you want! I tried their scooped ice cream once but it was stale and old tasting. It could've been a bad day/batch, but because of that experience I can't recommend it. In South Florida, years ago frozen yogurt shops starting popping up and became very popular. Now i feel like the same about rolled up ice cream shops. This is the second one I went to within a month. Lovely concept plus great product. I'm not into ice cream a lot so we ended up sharing however I enjoyed the ice cream creation. They have custom creations and this way you don't have to worry what ice cream will go with what toppings etc. Or you can choose a base, ice cream toppings etc. We ate the Cookie Monster creation with two toppings, I chose the wafers and brownie as the toppings, plus chocolate syrup. It was really good and fresh. They also sell Thai teas, boba teas etc. All the people before and after us were getting ice creams only. But I wouldn't mind trying the teas next time. For a Wednesday night they were pretty busy. About 6 people before us, and about 8 patrons after us came to order. The employees are pretty efficient with making the ice cream. They have three big silver cold surfaces they make the ice cream at. So basically three orders at a time. We will be back for some more rolled ice cream and tea.~ read more

So DAMN cool. This spot caught my eye when I saw its rolls. Ok, if you dig ice cream, feel free to get it any where. However, you got to get it rolled. Seriously, this is like one of the coolest things to have for your sweet tooth. It's creative and unique as well as a friendly and hip staff to feed our hungry stomachs. You can select from a signature item or create your own. My husband and I shared the Strawberry Shawty and it was absolutely scrumptious. It consisted of 5 strawberry ice cream rolls with graham cracker topped with strawberries and caramel. Love, love, love! We were able to see it being made before we got it and the staff had so much fun making it. They have quite a selection of teas as well and we didn't get any of them while we were there last night. We shall try one of them next time and a different flavor too. Mellow Mango, Monkey Business, Matcha Melody, and Cookie Monster are some of the other ones that are in the works for next time. I ordered classic milk tea here and didn't enjoy it very much. The taste was off, like too much artificial sweetener or something... it was really weird tasting. The boba was slimy on the outside and rock hard in the middle. It was not cooked correctly. They were really busy when I went and everyone was enjoying ice cream. This place is a gem, and I am so happy that it is close to my house. This place has everything that makes it specials. Of course, what matters is if the items are good. I order their Matcha Lover and it is absolutely delicious. It has the crunch of the waffle cone and then you have the sweet creamy ice cream on top with the perfect toppings. Also, the waffle itself is made fresh, and you know because you can see them making them on order. Everything combines well, and it has been my go to since discovering this place. Some of their rolled ice creams are also great. It is not too icy and has enough creaminess. Their drinks are also great especially if you get the fruit teas. I usually order the strawberry peach paradise, which I believe is the best. It is not too sweet and not too tangy. It is just about right and works well with any popping boba. I have brought family and friends along with me to this ice cream parlor for years. These ice cream rolls have remained a refreshing novelty since it arrived to Boynton Beach. In this review, I include pictures from past visits and reflect on my overall impression over time. Ice cream rating: 5/5. Top notch! Creamy, but not heavy. This is a surprisingly difficult balance to find among artisan ice cream parlors. The base is not overwhelmingly sweet- just enough, which leaves plenty of room for the wide array of topping choices to complement the ice cream, instead of overloading it with sweetness. This place has established a new baseline for my ice cream liking. Although this may be contingent on your mix-ins and toppings, the ice cream does not feel overly indulgent after eating it. My favorite ice cream flavor here is the green tea, but I have tried many, and the quality remains consistent. The fruity flavors have an authentic fruit flavor, which is nice. The price has increased by a few dollars since their opening. In my opinion, it is justified due to the generous portion, the ice cream freshness/quality, and the amount of mix-ins and toppings you can choose. However, for 7.25 each ice cream roll, I prefer to leave it for special occasions instead of more casual evenings out. The portion is generous. If you visit following a dinner, you will likely want to bring leftovers home. I most recently decided to try the egg waffle, which comes with ice cream scooped ice cream in lieu of the rolled ice cream. You still get 2 toppings so you do not feel like I'm missing out on the other novelty. The staff asks if it is okay if it takes about 10 minutes, which is perfectly fine considering it comes out hot and fresh. The ube swirl tea I tried some time ago was just alright. The ube flavor is more muted than I would like. The tapioca pearls I added to it were delicious, with the perfect flavor and texture. They formerly had indoor seating, as well as restroom access. I'm sure the former is due to accommodating COVID guidelines and/or more room for an increase in customers, but the latter still lacks any sense, as the access has been barred for at least several months. I would love to return one day and immediately update this review to 5 stars IF I find the bathroom has been reopened. Ice cream leaves us prone to sticky hands! I'm sorry, but hand sanitizer is not going to cut it. Please reopen your restroom for your customers. At least for hand washing. Aside from that circumstantiality, this ice cream is epic and you will be served politely, accurately, and with a sense of urgency. Thank you. read more
