These yummy ice cream are definitely cool. I am not much of a sweet tooth but when I am craving sweets, this here is my go to spot. Service is quick. They have a few tables and chairs outside. This is more of a grab and go as there are no tables inside. My favorite is the fruit bowl with the bubble waffle. Always a treat. Lots of parking in the front and back area.

I haven't been here in a very long time... clearly walking in you can tell things have changed. The ambiance is different & not for the better. Before this place was a fun cute place to bring kids with art on the wall and now it's all brown and minimalist. The staff is very different, when receiving our food it was just yelled what it was and the children kept asking over and over if things wete theirs. Even though the staff had gotten their name. The girl at the register was very nice. I believe she had been there a while. I asked her if they changed owners and she said about two years ago!!!!! I was baffled that it had been that long since I was there. The "ice cream" was good, but the toppings were horrible. We had Oreos and rainbow sprinkles. The Oreos were so stale, and the "sprinkles" were nonpareils. They were so had they hurt my teeth. Over all after giving them a second chance, we won't go back.
Its a cool ice cream spot to satisfy cravings. The place also has a wide variety of flavors, toppings as well as shakes and bubble tea The service is fast and the place is very clean, they make the ice cream right in front of you which is great. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed.

Cool Spot was recommended by a friend of mine so I was excited to go visit. Location - great location with plenty of parking and easily accessible from 95. The place/store inside was not what I was expecting. It is dated, needs some TLC and someone to attend to the outside small amount of seating, and garbage. There seems to have been some indoor seating but was removed. The place is extremely busy and no clear indication where the line started or ended. There's just people everywhere. I little too chaotic for me. They had plenty of people working and they are working very hard with the amount of foot traffic and delivery takeout orders. I give them props for managing that pretty well. It takes about 15-25 mins to get your order after you stood in a line to order so be patient if you decide to go. Dessert - I ordered a Build My Own Roll with strawberry rolled ice cream and strawberries and bananas in it with strawberry syrup and more fresh strawberries on top lol. We also ordered Build My Own Roll with Coffee ice cream with brownie and Oreo mix ins and Kit Kat/chocolate sauce topping. I thought it was good nothing spectacular about it just basic ice cream. They do offer many other items like Boba and other desserts that could be appealing to most. I wish Cool Spot much success and if you decide to go I hope you enjoy it more than I did.

With Covid-19, I have become very self-indulgent. Evenings lately have been spent going out for ice cream. This "Cool Spot" has been my partner in crime. It is hard to resist the many ice cream roll choices that you can choose from. This evening I got the birthday cake roll for my mother-in-law since her 87th birthday is coming up in a few days. She loved it! I got the key lime pie ice cream roll. It was delicious! The only thing missing was some whipped cream on top. The decor of the parlor is fun. I took some pictures for your enjoyment. There were a few tables outside to eat; but due to Covid-19 we didn't stay because there were too many people. We ate in the car on our way home. They also have bubble tea and some other menu choices that I haven't tried. It is hard to settle for anything else when you have so many ice cream goodies. Parking is ample. It is on Gateway Blvd. I made the mistake of going to Boynton Beach Blvd. All I can say is go and enjoy this place. It is worth the indulgence!
Perfectly named because it is a cool spot for ice cream. The rolled ice cream is fun. My kids love it as well as their boba drinks. It is pricey so if you have 4 kids like me it will cost you a pretty penny. There isn't a whole lot of seating. We always end up sitting outside or taking our orders to go.
Great experience and absolutely delicious! The owners are super nice and sweet. We can't wait to come back next weekend!

I had the Papaya Milk Tea boba at Cool Spot recently and I wanted to share that I was excited a location near me even had Papaya flavored Milk Tea! It's a rare find, and I would definitely recommend trying it at least once if you're a fan of boba. As a heads up, my drink did not come with ice, so I would specify that with it because boba drinks are typically best enjoyed cold. From a service standpoint, it was strictly transaction based, which is fine! Only our server was behind the counter, and the space itself is small and not hugely attractive. However, I wouldn't let that deter you from trying it in the near future! read more
This is my first review of 2026, and it was a pretty sweet way to start the year. We stopped by and ordered the Choconut, which was really good. Fresh, creamy, and made right in front of you. I came with my baby, and he absolutely loved watching them roll the ice cream. Honestly, that part alone kept him entertained the whole time. The staff was friendly . The only reason this isn't a full 5 stars is that the outside area could use a bit of cleaning and touch-up. Nothing major, just something that would make the first impression match how good the ice cream is. Overall, great spot, especially if you've got kids or just enjoy watching the rolled ice cream process. We'll definitely be back. read more

My son brought us to this place after we had dinner at a nearby restaurant . Just like cold stone, they scrape the ice cream right in front of you. Pretty cool to watch. Lots of choices to choose from, and build your own bowls. Delicious. They also have boba tea , milk shakes, slushies, smoothies and waffle cones, with plenty of toppings. Great dessert place. Small inside with a few tables inside and out. read more

The staff are so sweet and helpful. The ice cream and milk teas are made to order and are delicious. There is seating inside and outside and the walls are really cutely decorated. Highly recommend. read more

Perfectly named because it is a cool spot for ice cream. The rolled ice cream is fun. My kids love it as well as their boba drinks. Cool Spot has a really extensive menu when it comes to flavors of ice cream, toppings and boba tea flavors. They only have one size boba tea which is pretty large for me. I have been here several times and they have seating indoors and outdoors. I find their prices reasonable and their online ordering system really easy. I love their egg waffles. They make it fresh but it takes about 10 minutes. They have a back and front door where you can enter either way. There's parking on both sides. read more

Wasn't great, wasn't bad. I went after reading the reviews on here and look at the pictures. I got the Oreo one and there was hardly any Oreo in it and hardly any cookie bits. I guess I was a little disappointed I expected more? Anyways, I will definitely try it again to see if maybe it was an off day. read more

This place would get a better rating if their customer service was better. They don't greet us when we come in or say anything nice about us coming back! Overall, they are not very friendly there & it is such a shame, because their products being sold are pretty good. No complaints on taste, even though one would be about being a bit pricey. Anyway, we enjoy the slushes & they are super refreshing. However, one thing I didn't like was that they put the warm/hot bubble waffle in a plastic cup rather than a paper holder like most other locations. The reason being that the heat from the waffle & the plastic cup is no good health-wise. You can tell from the photo, it was steamy & that can release chemicals. I'm sure not everyone cares, but I think it is something to keep in mind. I wouldn't want to order it often if that is the case. Anyway, it just kind of irked my health-freak side a bit tbh! Would come back because it is closest to my home & product is good! Only reason why I wouldn't as frequent would be due to customer service is not up to par. Also this may be an unpopular opinion, but the decoration alone is cute but altogether, it looks like cute throw up. Just interior decor is a little off. read more
Checked this out while visiting family in the area. We had a boba drink which was fine. The ice cream rolls were delicious and worth a return trip in the short time (2 trips in 4 nights). Service was excellent- very patient with us while ordering and I heard them also provide great service to a customer in front of us who asked for her boba to be done in a very particular way. One request: the full menu is not online so took pics of all the options for Yelp. I had the OMG signature roll and it was delish. read more
So first time here ; and we got the waffle cones which are made fresh from scratch - so you gotta wait a little . Overall it was really good ice cream ; the waffle cone was very tasty . I am not giving 5 stars - since I would have loved to see more exotic toppings - like bacon, salt or a little something different . The mint chip was richer than the marshmallow ice cream. I've always preferred normal ice cream since rolled ice cream feels less in volume and flavor. This is the second time I had rolled ice cream and it's just okay compared to regular ice cream. Very popular spot and massive menu. The lady at the register could've been nicer and more patient. I can't wait to go back to try the boba though. It looks good! read more

My go-to ice cream shop. Their ice cream rolls are the best! I was hesitant at first because the other places I've tried in the past always came out icy, but not Cool Spot! Their rolled ice cream definitely keeps its creamy-ness despite being flash frozen. Plus, you can customize your order however you want! I tried their scooped ice cream once but it was stale and old tasting. It could've been a bad day/batch, but because of that experience I can't recommend it. Just go for their rolled ice cream--you won't regret it! :) read more
Pricey for a cup of ice cream but the ice cream was of very good quality. They use a liquid mix and pour directly on a cold plate. Using what looks to be oversized paint scrapers , they work the liquid into a delectable ice cream. There are a lot of menu choices. read more

I love Boba tea, a devoted fan here, for years and have been to many places and have tried teas from New York to Miami. Though I didn't travel specifically for the tea per se however, every time I am somewhere NEW I look for Boba tea... Yes I've even found boba tea in Puerto Rico and Mexico and never thought I could even find it there!!!!! Ok back to reviewing the "Cool Spot" boba tea... I loved the size, it's perfect, the flavor of their teas including my favorite Taro... has the best consistency in flavor and texture. Honestly never knew the flavor of the boba and the milky slushy Taro tea that I had could be so heavenly. Anyway my kids and husband love the OMG, the Rainbow Unicorn ice cream roll cups! So MANY delicious flavors to choose from. You should check it out! I'm so lucky I live right across the Street in Quantum Lakes... but if you don't you can order online too!!!! read more

Nice to see this business growing and sustaining. They have become more organized since their opening year. Lots of new combos for Rolled Ice Cream, Boba Teas and Bubble Waffle Ice Cream! I brought a friend here today since she's never tried Rolled Ice Cream. She got the Monkey Business while I got the Pistachio. Both were fun to watch as they made them and definitely fun to eat. The shop got really busy late afternoon . Nice to know they will be here to stay. read more

Love coming here! The kids always get a kick out of watching them make their ice cream. There are lots of choices for flavor and toppings. Create your own and choose one of theirs. The only downfall is there are only two machines that are working so it take forever to get served! They never wipe down the tables. In South Florida, years ago frozen yogurt shops starting popping up and became very popular. Now i feel like the same about rolled up ice cream shops. This is the second one I went to within a month. Lovely concept plus great product. I'm not into ice cream a lot so we ended up sharing however I enjoyed the ice cream creation. They have custom creations and this way you don't have to worry what ice cream will go with what toppings etc. Or you can choose a base, ice cream toppings etc. We ate the Cookie Monster creation with two toppings, I chose the wafers and brownie as the toppings, plus chocolate syrup. It was really good and fresh. They also sell Thai teas, boba teas etc. All the people before and after us were getting ice creams only. But I wouldn't mind trying the teas next time. For a Wednesday night they were pretty busy. About 6 people before us, and about 8 patrons after us came to order. The employees are pretty efficient with making the ice cream. They have three big silver cold surfaces they make the ice cream at. So basically three orders at a time. We will be back for some more rolled ice cream and tea.~ read more
So DAMN cool. This spot caught my eye when I saw its rolls. Ok, if you dig ice cream, feel free to get it any where. However, you got to get it rolled. Seriously, this is like one of the coolest things to have for your sweet tooth. It's creative and unique as well as a friendly and hip staff to feed our hungry stomachs. You can select from a signature item or create your own. My husband and I shared the Strawberry Shawty and it was absolutely scrumptious. It consisted of 5 strawberry ice cream rolls with graham cracker topped with strawberries and caramel. Love, love, love! We were able to see it being made before we got it and the staff had so much fun making it. They have quite a selection of teas as well and we didn't get any of them while we were there last night. We shall try one of them next time and a different flavor too. Mellow Mango, Monkey Business, Matcha Melody, and Cookie Monster are some of the other ones that are in the works for next time. I ordered classic milk tea here and didn't enjoy it very much. The taste was off, like too much artificial sweetener or something... it was really weird tasting. The boba was slimy on the outside and rock hard in the middle. It was not cooked correctly. They were really busy when I went and everyone was enjoying ice cream. After my disappointing experience with their boba tea, I wish I did too. read more
