Once again she delivers amazing cakes!! We used her a few years ago and ordered cupcakes for my son's birthday. And yesterday we celebrated both our kids! We picked a vanilla hazelnut and a strawberry vanilla cake. Everybody went crazy about it. The cakes were not only beautiful but delicious! Guest took some more to go home with! I absolutely recommend her again and again! Thank you so much for making the process so smooth!

Jane was amazing! I placed an order with her for two dozen cupcakes to be delivered for my sister In laws birthday. I found Sweetherapy through yelp. I was in search for a home made baker. We met up quite a bit before my cake date to try her cupcakes. They were very delicious!! She is a very sweet woman and I enjoyed talking to her. She was very efficient and asked a lot of questions to get all the details. She advised me that I had up until the Wednesday before to finalize the cake as that is when she makes the cakes. I originally placed the order for 40 people but on the Sunday before I reached out to her to change it to 50 as the image she provided me was for 50 people. We confirmed how the cake was going to be made and the flavors and she agreed with me. I have attached the image of what the cake was supposed to be vs. what I got. Both me and my daughter were extremely upset. The cake did not look like the original image. Jane did reach out to me to tell me that she had an issue but did not tell me on the phone that the cake was not going to look like what we requested. I would have told her to do the cake without the bows. We wanted simple. The flavors were to be strawberry on one layer and oreos mixed in the vanilla cake on the 2nd layer. The first layer was marble with a oreo cream center and the top layer was strawberry. My guests did enjoy the cake. It was very moist and flavorful. She did express her sincerest apologies and did not charge me full price for what I ordered.

They have been making my familys cakes for every occasion for more than 6 years! She listens to every single detail and description you tell her. There is not one cake I can stay is my favorite that she has made. Well actually this past weekend she made my sister-in-law a baby shower cake and it was beautiful and it tasted amazing but all of her cakes are beautiful and delicious. Jane is truly a godsend. She is a very sweet and personable woman, and quickly responds to any form of communication. I came in to town for vacation and to celebrate my father in law's birthday. I called three days before I needed the cake, which is VERY last minute and Jane went above and beyond to accommodate my request--a dairy-free, nut-free chocolate cake. You couldn't even tell it was dairy-free, tasted just like a regular chocolate cake! It was rich and flavorful, and this is coming from someone who doesn't particularly like chocolate cake. I would also like to point out that I didn't even specify a design; the one you see in the picture below is straight from Jane's creative mind. I cannot thank Jane enough for coming through for me! P.S. Anyone with an allergy need not be skeptical. Jane assured me that she cooks all of her special request cakes separately so there's no risk of cross-contamination!

I highly recommend Sweetherapy Gourmet cupcakes! The owner did such an amazing job responding to my messages in a timely manner, gave me a great price on a custom cake design that I had, and the taste of the cake was so delicious and moist. I initially went with the idea of a Tabla cake for my Dads 60th birthday and the owner delivered just that! There were so many special flavors available but we went with carrot cake with pecans and it was a HIT! Everyone loved how moist and flavorful the cake was, which we were nervous about because usually fondant cakes don't taste the best! I expressed that I wanted the cake to withhold a drive to Orlando and it did just that! She accommodated to all our needs while still managing to keep our ideas in mind! Definitely recommending to all my friends and family in the Pembroke Pines/ Cooper City area!

Jane keep up the fantastic work you do. You have been blessed with the ability to bake. I came across your bakery through Yelp, which is my go to when I need to find the best of something for every occasion. Your bakery popped up, and boy was I happy It did. Working with Jane was easy, no hassles and all through email and text. I showed her a picture of our quality department logo to place on the cake and must I say, Jane hit it out of the ball park with the exact design. This bakery deserves more than five stars. Sweetherapy is an online bakery business only, but DO NOT let this stop you from ordering. Jane (the owner) is very accommodating with easy ordering and quick response times. On the website, you can either call or email Jane with questions. I emailed Jane to inquire about ordering cupcakes for my son's third birthday party. I was looking for cupcakes with either a train and/or cars theme. Within 24 hours, Jane had emailed back with several picture ideas from Thomas the Train themes to Pixar Cars themes. In the end, Pixar Cars themed cupcakes and cake pops were decided for my son's third birthday. Our order was placed online seven days in advance and Jane communicated daily via email about next steps - cost, prop ideas, cake flavors, etc. All communication was made through email and Jane ensured the entire process was simple and easy. A 50% deposit is requested prior to cake preparations and your remaining balance is due upon delivery or pick-up of goodies. Jane emailed a Paypal invoice with a breakdown of costs with the option to pay by credit card in full or the deposit only. I paid in full and all items were picked up in a mutually agreed location; I elected for pick-up instead of delivery. I was more than pleased with Jane's professionalism and thoroughness. The design of the cupcakes and cake pops was over the top from the presentation to the packaging. Everything was a hit for my son's third birthday party. The kids and caregivers LOVED the flavor and moistness of the cupcakes and cake pops. Delicious! Jane exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Sweetherapy for any occasion. DO NOT let this online business deter you from ordering. Jane is more than accommodating to customers' needs and concerns. Sweetherapy is my go to bakery in South Florida; I can't wait to try other gourmet goodies/treats from Jane and will be ordering more items from Sweetherapy in the near future.

I left with 2 cupcakes and 2 cakepops. The cupcakes were absolutely DELICIOUS!!! The espresso cupcake had a ganache inside and the Nutella cupcake had cream inside...both were a wonderful and yummy surprise! I didn't get to try the cake pops, my daughter didn't share...but she loved them. They were refrigerated and she said they were much better after they were room temperature. As someone who bakes their own cupcakes I was skeptical, but I was not disappointed. AND you get free samples!!! read more

Jane created an amazing cake for our daughters' high school graduation with 3 different layers to satisfy the vegans, no gluten and glutton crowd! This place is now called the CupCake Galleria and is under new ownership. It is in a nice shopping plaza in Davie. I purchased 12 mini-cupcakes for my daughter's birthday celebration and thought they tasted Ok. I found them extremely small and WAAYYY overpriced, $1.50 for each mini-cupcake (they were mini mini) and $3 for regular. I work in Dade County and compared them to Sweetness Bakeshop on Sunset and 92nd(?). Their mini-cupcakes are $1.05 and $1.25 for their specialty minis. They are out of this world delicious. It isn't a bad place to go if you are in a pinch (like I was) but with those prices, I don't plan on going. read more

I was looking to get cupcakes for my daughter's bachelorette weekend in Fort Lauderdale. Being from Michigan, I wasn't sure where to start. I looked at many websites before I found My Sweet Therapy. I was leery about ordering from a company that I had never used or that I hadn't tasted the product. I did not have the luxury of waiting until I got to Florida, however. There was something about Sweet Therapy that just drew me in. Not only did she do beautiful work, her reviews were good, she had a large selection, she had vegan and she delivered. These were all pluses for me! I sent an email and Jane reached out to me. I knew within seconds of talking to Jane on the phone, that I had made the right choice! She was warm and friendly and knew immediately what I wanted. I felt like I had made a friend and that she wanted everything to be perfect. It was! The cupcakes were stunning to look at! They were so beautiful we didn't want to pull them apart. We did, however because we couldn't wait to taste them! As beautiful as they were, they tasted even better! Pure heaven! Everyone raved about them and the vegans in our group were thrilled that they weren't left out! The best part was that my daughter was thrilled and actually started crying when she saw them! I just happened upon Jane and her delicious sweets three years ago when I moved down here from Jacksonville. I was in need of vegan gluten free cupcakes for my brothers girlfriends birthday. She made these gorgeous chocolate sparkly creations for me. They were stunning, and delicious!!! Then, I reached out to her for Valentine's goodies...cake pops and cupcakes. Again, she outdid herself. The decorations, the quality of cake and icing, the packaging....all stunning. You will not ever find a better chocolate cake pop in the world!!!!!!!! Obsessed! I've ordered now over a handful of times for different occasions, and I am always greeted with a friendly smile, and a big hug! I was looking for a sweet treat to send to my nephew for his 7th birthday and I needed it for the next day. I looked all over yelp and called around so many different places. As soon as Jane answered the phone, she was so sweet and accommodating and told me about her amazing cake pops and cupcakes. She offered to deliver at an extremely reasonable cost and even switched times for me to accommodate my sister in law. This morning a got the best call from my family thanking me for the most incredible looking and tasting treats. They said the quality of the cupcakes even the icing was just amazing. I found Jane when I was Google searching a bakery that would make cupcakes for my wedding. My now husband and I went in for a tasting and we were completely sold. They were, hands down, the best tasting cupcakes I've ever had. So we hired her to do our wedding. Not only did she bring the incredible cupcakes, and a cake for us to cut that was equally delicious, she crafted an absolutely STUNNING tablescape, it blew everyone away. Jane is such a pleasure, she goes above and beyond and always wants to make sure you're happy! I will always come back for the rum cake, it's absolutely delicious--so moist and flavorful but not too overpowering. I can't speak highly enough about the quality of product Jane puts out. My wedding cake was to die for. She made me a gorgeous four tier rum cake with vanilla icing and it was absolutely delicious. The rum cake was so moist, and I am not exaggerating when I say the icing was the best vanilla icing I have ever tasted. Jane did an entire dessert table for @50 guests at my birthday party this June, which was held in a wine bar of a fantastic restaurant in Village at Gulfstream Park. We had a whole Wine Cellar for the sweets an one elongated table with black cloths, which she decorated in the most elegant, classy manner with gold sequined runners. I am an Interior Designer so I wanted it to be fabulous and it was! I had challenged her by wanting a large variety of cupcakes, Cake Pops, and a gorgeous 2-layer rolled fondant birthday cake. After sampling her amazing rum cake with nuts I then added mini versions, as well as gorgeous chocolate-dipped strawberries which she made more beautiful by hand-painting in Gold leaf. Jane added 2 kinds of Brazilian chocolate truffles, or Bon-bons. She followed my color scheme perfectly by using creams, black and edible gold leaf. The table was magnificent and all I heard were "WOWS" as every single person took photos of the station. I couldn't make up my mind as all of the chocolate cupcakes were awesome, so we had her crunchy Caramel Nutella Italian Buttercream, Chocolate Ganache, and the Dark Chocolate Raspberry...all were hits!! We also had Strawberry and Classic Carrot. The pops were sparkly and wonderful. Everyone is still raving about the desserts and her table will be one of the most memorable I have ever seen...or tasted. Having Jane do my birthday celebration was one of the best decisions I ever made, and she will get lots of referrals from me. Wonderful Job!!!! read more

I started baking from home in 2012 as a Cottage Bakery. What started as a small business, became so successful that a year later I was opening my store front. After 4 years of a successful business that overwhelmingly filled me with work and sacrifices,I decided to move back to my Cottage Bakery (Licensed Home Kitchen), and that is where I am now...Back to bake from home...more peaceful and appropriate for me in this stage of my life. Still baking daily ( my passion) and making cakes for every occasion...Happy!

I was born in Brazil, where I had a restaurant for 13 years. At age of 14 I was the one in charge to cook for a family of 7(my family).
