Fell in love with Sweetgreen at one of their New York City locations and I've been waiting for the moment I'd have one near me in Florida. The options are endless and you can have your salad hot cold. There have different dressings (vegan ones as well) and several toppings/finishes to make your perfect salad. If I told you how much I paid for my salad, you'd prob shy away from here, but I promise you, I elate every bit of it and will go back for seconds (thirds, and plenty more). I've now been to this Sweetgreen three times, and each time I've been told they don't have fries -- even though they're clearly on the menu and I know they can make them. Today was the last straw. I ordered two servings of fries, waited 30 minutes, and they only brought out one. They gave the second order to someone behind me just because that person asked for it too. This kind of service is unacceptable. It feels like the staff just doesn't want to make certain items and keeps making excuses instead of doing their job. It's frustrating, unprofessional, and honestly ridiculous for a place that markets itself as high quality. The staff is rude and treats customers like trash. Found this place when we were looking for a place to eat for lunch. We are huge fans of Just Salad and we're excited to see this place. I tried the Kale Caesar Steak, and if I had to compare it to Just Salad, I'd say the steak at Sweetgreen is far tastier--1000% better quality. The Caesar dressing was okay, but what really let me down was the greens. Both the kale and romaine were wilted and looked old, which was a bit off-putting. Definitely lost a star for that, as the greens aren't as clean and fresh as at Just Salad. The tables also had some food residue on them. Place was kinda clean. On the bright side, customer service was great--the staff was friendly and helpful. So I was in the West Palm Beach area for a hair appointment and before I got back on the road to head home, I wanted to have a quick bite to eat that was light and healthy. I saw that there was a location in CityPlace so I stopped in to grab a salad to go. When walking in, I was greeted by the employees and immediately attended to. I did a build your own bowl so that way I could create my own concoction. First off the lettuce is very fresh. I went with kale and a mix of Romaine for my base. Then they move on to your toppings. I went with chickpeas, cucumbers, grape tomatoes, shredded carrots, purple, cabbage, and pickled onions. I opted in for their blackened chicken and chose the spicy cashew dressing. It was so hard to pick as they have so many different choices that are vegan friendly as well. They have Siete brand chips which were in partnership with the restaurant. It was a green goddess dressing flavor which I picked up since it was a mini bag. They also have Ollipop sodas, which is my favorite. My total for the chips and salad was about $18. They give you such huge portions of salad, which can justify the price a bit, especially because it is a fast food, healthy option. When eating this, everything was so fresh and tasty. The spicy cashew dressing was my favorite it had the perfect hint of spicy and was creamy. It's definitely something that I will have to get again on my next stop into a sweetgreens. I loved how they ask how much dressing you want -- I'm a heavy dressing girl, so "muah." You can get (or not get) bread with your salad or bowl, and they have good quality drinks available. There isn't a whole lot of seating inside, so you may want to see about sitting in the outside area just out the door. This is just across the road from the Palm Beach Convention Center, and the attached Hilton, so be aware of this as a great and healthy eating option if you're there. Between Tommy bahama and Casper mattresses and across the street from the interactive fountain. Outside seating has good greenery to shade and muffle the traffic noise from Okeechobee and the trains. I sent an email to their customer service and received a response a few days later asking for more information. I provided additional information and then never heard back from anyone. The real opening for the downtown is Tuesday, however, the soft opening did not disappoint. I got the shrimp and avocado warm bowl while my wife got the harvest bowl and they were both top notch! All ingredients were extremely fresh, sustainable and delicious to taste. The ambiance inside the place was spectacular. Very light, bright and vibrant. This place has declined horribly. Their quality continues to be an issue and frankly it's evident they don't care at all. I've ordered takeout a ton and they continue to screw up, most recently forgetting the chicken from our bowl and the sweet potatoes weren't cooked through at all. I wish this was the first time but sadly it's been a number of times now on multiple bowls. If healthy eating wasn't so challenging I would stop ordering completely, but I keep thinking they'll turn it around. The only upside is their customer service has been helpful and made things right. Before then, I never heard of sweetgreen and was very intrigued to try it. Sweetgreen is located perfectly in downtown palm beach gardens. The area was renovated and looks very nice and offers many family friendly activities to do in the outdoor seating. As I walked into the restaurant, I noticed how clean and friendly it was inside. There weren't too many people eating in I would say. When you walk in, you pick the bowl of your choice with the various bases and toppings that they offer. Since this was my first time, I decided to go for something different. I choose to create my own bowl because I like to customize my orders. I went with the base of wild rice and spring mix with blackened chicken as my protein meat. There were many toppings to choose from and I ended up picking black beans, banana peppers, roasted sweet potatoes, tomatoes, and spicy broccoli. This was the perfect blend for my salad bowl! My total was around $20 which wasn't too bad because the portions were big and I was full afterwards. After I placed my order, I couldn't dine in but the dining area was very clean and wiped down. The first bite into my salad was amazing--a burst of flavoring. I liked the balance of salty and a hint of sweet from the roasted sweet potatoes. The ingredients mixed together did not overpower each other at all. If you are looking for a new healthy salad spot, I suggest this place. I ordered the Cobb salad and it did not disappoint. First the bowl itself is recyclable, points there! Opened up the lid to a huge salad more points! Romain and spring mix were the base and it only got better from there. Topped with whole fresh and perfectly cooked hard boiled egg. Roasted almonds, blue cheese, avocado and chicken. I choose green goddess dressing. Not only was this a nearly filling salad but it looked so encoring I could not wait to eat. I had to wait though, to mix this huge salad Took a while as I did not want to loose any of it spilling it onto the table. No man overboard here. Everything was so fresh. The roasted almonds were whole almonds chopped. Not the wimpy slivers. 1/2 of a perfectly ripe avocado. The chicken chunks were not dry. The green goddess dressing was herby and had a little spice but tied the whole bowl of goodness together. My colleagues all saiid their salads were yummy as well.
