What I got looked like it had been through three business days and a breakup. The salmon was so dry it could've qualified as jerky. The "miso" flavor was nowhere to be found, the rice was bland, and there were enough pickled onions to feed an entire onion fan club. Expectation: Instagram influencer lunch. Reality: Hospital cafeteria on a Wednesday. For almost $20, I expected the bowl in the ad--not whatever identity crisis ended up in my container. I actually laughed when I opened it because I thought maybe they forgot half my order. Definitely fresh vegetables and ingredients I got the Caesar chicken wrap and it has these Parmesan chips in it. Either ask him to go light on it or none at all. I've now been to this Sweetgreen three times, and each time I've been told they don't have fries -- even though they're clearly on the menu and I know they can make them. Today was the last straw. I ordered two servings of fries, waited 30 minutes, and they only brought out one. They gave the second order to someone behind me just because that person asked for it too. This kind of service is unacceptable. It feels like the staff just doesn't want to make certain items and keeps making excuses instead of doing their job. Found this place when we were looking for a place to eat for lunch. We are huge fans of Just Salad and we're excited to see this place. I tried the Kale Caesar Steak, and if I had to compare it to Just Salad, I'd say the steak at Sweetgreen is far tastier--1000% better quality. The Caesar dressing was okay, but what really let me down was the greens. Both the kale and romaine were wilted and looked old, which was a bit off-putting. So I was in the West Palm Beach area for a hair appointment and before I got back on the road to head home, I wanted to have a quick bite to eat that was light and healthy. I saw that there was a location in CityPlace so I stopped in to grab a salad to go. When walking in, I was greeted by the employees and immediately attended to. I did a build your own bowl so that way I could create my own concoction. First off the lettuce is very fresh. I went with kale and a mix of Romaine for my base. Then they move on to your toppings. I went with chickpeas, cucumbers, grape tomatoes, shredded carrots, purple, cabbage, and pickled onions. I opted in for their blackened chicken and chose the spicy cashew dressing. It was so hard to pick as they have so many different choices that are vegan friendly as well. They have Siete brand chips which were in partnership with the restaurant. It was a green goddess dressing flavor which I picked up since it was a mini bag. They also have Ollipop sodas, which is my favorite. My total for the chips and salad was about $18. They give you such huge portions of salad, which can justify the price a bit, especially because it is a fast food, healthy option. When eating this, everything was so fresh and tasty. The spicy cashew dressing was my favorite it had the perfect hint of spicy and was creamy. It's definitely something that I will have to get again on my next stop into a sweetgreens. The real opening for the downtown is Tuesday, however, the soft opening did not disappoint. I got the shrimp and avocado warm bowl while my wife got the harvest bowl and they were both top notch! I was so excited about sweetgreen when I saw an advertisement for their new app. I do not live nearby but saw that I could place a delivery order. My estimated time for delivery was 25 minutes, but my food arrived after waiting over an hour. The salad and drink I ordered were both warm and the condensation from the drink made everything in the bag soaking wet, causing the bag to rip. I sent an email to their customer service and received a response a few days later asking for more information. I provided additional information and then never heard back from anyone. This place has declined horribly. Their quality continues to be an issue and frankly it's evident they don't care at all. I've ordered takeout a ton and they continue to screw up, most recently forgetting the chicken from our bowl and the sweet potatoes weren't cooked through at all. I wish this was the first time but sadly it's been a number of times now on multiple bowls. If healthy eating wasn't so challenging I would stop ordering completely, but I keep thinking they'll turn it around. The only upside is their customer service has been helpful and made things right. Since this was my first time, I decided to go for something different. I choose to create my own bowl because I like to customize my orders. I went with the base of wild rice and spring mix with blackened chicken as my protein meat. There were many toppings to choose from and I ended up picking black beans, banana peppers, roasted sweet potatoes, tomatoes, and spicy broccoli. This was the perfect blend for my salad bowl! My total was around $20 which wasn't too bad because the portions were big and I was full afterwards. After I placed my order, I couldn't dine in but the dining area was very clean and wiped down. The first bite into my salad was amazing--a burst of flavoring. I liked the balance of salty and a hint of sweet from the roasted sweet potatoes.
