THE GARLIC PARM CAULI BOWL. Are you joking? I don't even care that this meal exceeded my calorie intake today because it is unreal. I had a feeling I would like this bowl, but I absolutely loved it and will be addicted to having it for as long as it's on the menu. Whoever made my meal today made it with the love! I think the roasted Romesco sauce is the star of the show. It really shined through the entire bowl. Every ingredient was fresh and tasted amazing. I enjoyed the mix of hot and cold ingredients and honestly anything with sweet potatoes during this time of year has my stamp of approval. My order was ready for pickup when the website said it would be. Major kudos to the staff at this sweetgreen location for staying on top of things. I'll be back for this bowl again! Without a doubt! read more

Something desperately should be done about this location specifically. I've been in this location personally, on a few occasions. This time I order from DoorDash, and I got about half of the bowl that I normally receive when I'm in the store. I've read several reviews where the individuals got such insignificant portions, but are spending nearly $20 on a bowl of food that you're only getting about a half portion of. It's utterly ridiculous that upper management and corporate would continue to allow these kind of business practices in mishandling of people's food. I would highly recommend that they step in on this immediately and rectify the situation in some fashion. Perhaps the staff needs to be retrained? read more

Sweetgreen is streets ahead of any salad place I've ever been to. Their meals are delicious. My fave is the Italian salad. Thanks to Sweetgreen, I now have a salad problem. I signed up for their $10/month subscription, which scores me a daily[1] $3 off coupon - the break even point isn't bad. I know, I know. That's what a junkie would say. This Sweetgreen has always turned out my orders - salad, protein bowls, etc. - on time. The fact that this location has no seating probably helps. This Sweetgreen saves me time and keeps me healthy (compared to the junk I used to eat). On its face, Sweetgreen isn't great for my budget, but eating healthy is expensive. The time and expense of me stocking up on ingredients and making sure I consume them before they go bad is more than I can spare right now. First world problems! I was craving a salad and with sweetgreen being the nearest one near me, I decided to give it another go. Despite my earlier digressions with the place (last time the chicken being undercooked, etc.), when I dove into my salad today, I was satisfied with the amount I received and the flavor of the chicken parm pesto bowl in general. It wasn't until I was a couple of bites through that I realized that the chicken was missing entirely. I dug through the salad to see if there was any other bit of chicken, and it was none . . . Better than undercooked chicken, I guess? read more

Whoever made my family and I our bowls around 3pm today was on point! They really hooked it up, all the ingredients were proportioned well, the shroomami bowl with extra mushrooms and salmon, cashew dressing and sesame dressing on the side. Everything was fresh, the mushrooms perfectly seasoned, the sweet potato cooked perfectly, the kale, cucumbers, and basil were also very fresh and crisp not soggy and wilted. I really appreciate the attendant being patient and clarifying out large order. He did an excellent job! He really made my day after a long, arduous, complicated day. Thanks Sweetgreen! read more

The Harvest bowl rocked my tastebuds yesterday - $10.75 for a warm, filling salad filled with chicken, sweet potato and so much more. Honestly I was hesitant about visiting one of these overpriced salad establishments but if you don't make many changes or add on additional ingredients, the prices are pretty comparable to other city salad spots like Snap Kitchen (salad and pizza) and Just salad. Just let go of all your previous biases and assumptions about fast food salads and give it a shot. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Bonus: there is a rewards app that you should definitely get if you become a regular! You can also order ahead with this during busy hours to skip the lines. read more

Sweetgreen is awesome. The downside if Sweetgreen is expensive for a salad, a normal lunch size salad can run you about $13-$15 before tip. I've never been disappointed by a salad here. Today I'm having the shroomami but replaced wild rice for quinoa and got a lime and the lime jalapeno vinaigrette instead of the miso dressing. It's delicious. The elote Salad, shroomami, buffalo chicken salad, and veggie Caesar salad are all awesome solid salads. I also think it's awesome how easily you can sub items and still no how many calories you're consuming and what a serving is as opposed to Honey Grow. This location is busy, I feel like anyone around this area should know / expect that.. It is Center City, and near multiple hospitals. I would recommend you order lunch ahead a pick up. Solid salad, only go on treat myself days for a pricier lunch. read more

I do not recommend this location (924 Walnut Street) and will never order food from here again! I witnessed the most unprofessional, horrific, and condescending response from the manager to a customer. I didn't get the managers name but she worked on Tuesday , July 24th at approx 9am. A customer ordered the miso salmon bowl via door dash. She explained that the food arrived without the salmon. She simply asked for a new bowl to be made or to be given a piece of salmon. Instead of the manager providing customer service, she berated the customer. Told her things like " stop talking to me about this salmon", " I'm done talking to you", " you don't have a picture, I can't just give you salmon". Meanwhile the customer had the bowl in hand as proof that there was no salmon included. It was disgusting and uncomfortable to watch. Sweetgreen, please ensure you vet your staff. I hope that you follow-up with this location and that the manager is fired!!! Completely unacceptable!! read more

It's time to update and upgrade my sweetgreen rating. A staple lunch when I'm in the office... from the tried and true kale Caesar to the newest addition and my current obsession... the buffalo chicken salad. "Blackened chicken thighs, pickled carrots + celery, tomatoes, cilantro, local blue cheese, za'atar breadcrumbs, shredded kale, chopped romaine, sweetgreen hot sauce, caesar dressing"... I ordered it apprehensive about the Caesar dressing but it WORKS. A perfect combination of crunchy, spicy, sour, and rich. The kale makes it seem healthy, but it tastes decadent. I have generally been a Sweetgreen fan, and I decided to mobile order a salad for pickup after having a rough day. I placed an order for a seasonal 'Superfood Bowl.' The app said that lentils were unavailable, but then up charged me for adding chicken, which didn't really make sense. I also added to seasonal burrata cheese to my bowl. The order was ready when I arrived about 10 minutes after placing it, which was good. I opened my salad to eat it, and it was pretty aesthetically pleasing. The bowl had a lot of nice colors. The overall flavor was pretty good. Out of all of the different items I've tried at Sweetgreen, this one was pretty good. The beet hummus was very flavorful, and all of the ingredients and dressing in the bowl mixed very well together. I would go back to this location. However, I wish the app didn't up charge me for replacing an item that THEY didn't have. Still always a Sweetgreen fan though due to the quality and very good menu items and flavor combinations. It's a very refreshing and filling choice when you don't want to go for fast food. read more

Went to this location on Market Street today 16th to be exact and order a salad for my two brothers and I first of all the tone of the server was so rude I didn't wanna order because of the way this guy addressed . I ordered anyway. Then he put my salad together like he was throwing leaves in a trash bag. Not to mention no hair covering it was just unprofessional and if I was the owner non of the people in that Sweet green today would have a job I also seen two of these men engaged in PE, but that's besides the point we paid a cold 60 for 3 salad a bag of chips and three drinks, ok we leave the facility get all the way home and the female cashier failed to put my brothers salad in the bag...I had to drive all the way back downtown Philly, and if anyone knows how brutal that traffic is @ 4pm to get the salad that this person left on the side. When I get back I came in calm never raised my voice and said "you left one of the salads out the bag" she immediately starts to make an excuse about the guy before us of which I never made out the logic she was using and what it had to do with pur order she finally ask what was it I called my brother on the phone like what did you order he told her and there it was taped up as if they knew we were coming back. Not only did she not apologize but when I said well whose the manager in this place a guy stepped from behind the salad bar and said me and the first thing he said was rude:"I'm not the one that you was talking to and then he said "well you got your salad don't you in the most disrespectful and arrogant way possible " I urge everyone to choose another location because this seems like normal behavior for these people like they disrespect people all the time. Yikes.....Sweetgreen I like the idea of healthy I really do, but you gotta sell it a little with the delivery. My salads were stuffed to the brim but all the ingredients just did not merry well together. Ordered a seasonal special of chickpea and chicken salad and a regular menu order of Hummus Tahini. Both salads had tons of ingredients and rounded out to under $24 dollars. For $24 dollars worth of salad I was hoping these salads would sing to me..however they just laid there dilapidated and filled me up with fiber. The chicken (lacked any semblence of being chicken) and falafel (strange chunky texture and no spices to be found, related possibly to cardboard). Delivery is always perfect - as if I needed one more reason to love sweetgreen. So why should you pay $12-17 for a single salad? Because sweetgreen is the Cold Stone Creamery of salad to-go - your ingredients are all thoroughly mixed together for you. Every bite's a good bite. And there's no frustrating salad spillage while trying to mix it yourself in a tiny bowl. Your order is always tucked away tightly into a fully compostable delivery bowl, bundled with compostable utensils. Quick, too. Pro tip! Request a lime squeeze if you're ordering delivery. Keeps everything bright :-) read more

We love sweetgreen and have tried multiple locations. Unfortunately, at this location on 3/4/23 lunchtime, the dressing proportions were completely off. I live in Charleston now and we don't have a sweetgreen. This weekend, I was visiting my friend in Philly and when I found out we were getting sweetgreen I actually cried happy tears. Now I'm crying sad tears because the experience was so bad. This review is based on the poor service we received and not about the actual food. We went at an off hour- there were 6 employees working and not one of them acknowledged us for the first 3 minutes we were there. When they finally did decide to come over to us, they acted like it was an inconvenience to make our salads and provide us service. The employee (name unknown but it was not Ilanna) acted like I was annoying, and I'm NOT annoying. The store itself looked dirty, unorganized, and they were out of several ingredients. Hoping for better service in the future. read more

I wish I could eat here every single day! So fulfilling and so healthy. What a great place!

I paid extra for protein and received zero! They offered a $7 credit even though i paid over $40. Amateur hour operation

I love Sweetgreen and this is the closest location to my home. Their employees are always great! Unfortunately they are almost always out of at least one ingredient, which sometimes matters. If it's an effort not to make too much and let it turn into food waste I appreciate that, but half the time I don't wind up ordering because I can't get the salad bowl I want and for $13-$16, I want what I want to order. That said, I absolutely love the chicken pesto parm bowl, the peach and goat cheese and what do they put in the spicy broccoli to make it basically like vegetable crack? I could eat that every day. read more

I have been ordering sweetgreen online and in store for many years, both in New York City and Philadelphia. I am extremely disappointed with this location - I placed an order for lunch which was never delivered. Sweetgreen then issued me a refund for the order which was great. Then, I decided I'd try again and it must be a fluke - the same thing happened yet again where my order was marked as delivered and I never received it. I don't know if this is a delivery courier issue or the restaurant not issuing the food to the correct person, however, either way it is extremely disappointing and I no longer trust this location or their services. read more

I'm obsessed with this place. I ate there three times for dinner during my four nights in Philly. After looking at their location listing, I can't believe that I have never stumbled upon this place in NYC, since they have quite a few locations there. I ordered something different each night. Started with the SPICY SABZI - organic baby spinach, shredded kale, spicy broccoli, raw beets, organic carrots, bean sprouts, spicy quinoa, basil, roasted sesame tofu, sweetgreen hot sauce, carrot chili vinaigrette Then GUACAMOLE GREENS- organic mesclun, avocado, roasted chicken, red onion, tomatoes, tortilla chips, fresh lime squeeze, lime cilantro jalapeno vinaigrette And then finally BEETS DON'T KALE MY VIBE - organic wild rice, shredded kale, roasted beets + pickled onions, local goat cheese, roasted chicken, raw pecans, balsamic vinaigrette Ingredients were fresh and the salads were good size. I did not leave hungry. Very unique and delicious salad dressings. The location I went to is pretty much for take out only. They had a few tables outside but no seating outside. Service was friendly and fast. Can't wait to come back here when I'm in Philly or NYC great place for health fast food! read more

I'm not Irish, but who won't like to be super-festive on St. Patrick's Day! I started my day with a very green (and of-course, nutritious) salad, from sweetgreen, which did the trick just right. Feeling lucky? Something calorie-savvy and exciting? Since I get to eat anyway, why not get in a celebratory mood and go all green? With a custom-mixed salad, I may just found the pot of gold after all. As a first timer, I opted to custom a premium, Mediterranean salad (390 Calories.) It was very festive and nutritious (sourced locally,) with the perfect combination of healthy, vegan-friendly protein, and pleasant dressing. My salad had a base of chopped romaine lettuce and basil, with fresh grape tomatoes, crunchy cucumber, shaved organic carrots, and healthy twist of baked falafel (vegan) and organic chickpeas. I paired it nicely with a gluten-free, cucumber tahini yogurt dressing (came on the side.) Now, who said dressings can't be truly healthy and insanely tasty? This made in-house, smooth, and light green dressing delivered an extra healthy nutrients from the yogurt, when drizzled lightly over the top of the salad, and I dug in. Yay! The creative salad was so fresh and colorful. It was SO damn good ( and so expensive:$9.35.) My constant dilemma is should I be Barbie and broke, or fat and rich? And the million-dollar question is why junk food is so cheap and healthy food is so expensive? $1.29 Hamburger. McDonald's, anyone? Put your hands down, Yelpers. Thank you! Sweetgreen easily became my new favorite to-go spot, and it may be yours too if you give a try. Of course, only if you want to keep up with the body image the Kardashian/Jenner girls are promoting. - Tip: Ordering can't get any easier. Place order, pay online and when it's ready pick it up in store. Or just order in-store. It is all about simplicity. - Bonus tip: Card-only, quick- service store. Expect to only use a debit/credit card to pay for your meal. No cash accepted. Sweetgreen, this was my first visit, and certainly WON'T be my last. Four and half Salad Yelps. read more

I really enjoy the salads at Sweetgreen but encounter rude staff here regularly and this location is always out of ingredients. I've had staff snap at me sarcastically when I didn't order the way they expected me to. The staff argue amongst themselves in front of customers. I find the workers often look like they hate their jobs and don't want to be there - it has a real impact on the customer experience. At least every second visit they are out of salad ingredients. On one occasion, they had no more Romaine lettuce - the primary ingredient in most of their salads?????? How can this happen so regularly? These two ongoing issues must be due to poor management on the front line. Enough complaining. The salads are outstanding with fresh delicious high quality ingredients. My favorites are the Caesar Kale salad, the fresh seasonal options with fruit and the Lentil / Avocado salad. Make sure you ask for light dressing or you will get ALOT of dressing. Recommended for a healthy salad but be prepared for a subpar customer experience. BK read more
