I stopped going here as I find this particular location to be very sloppy, in that ingredients are often missing from the bowls and the presentation is often lackluster relative to other locations. Today I went to get a Harvest Bowl. They had some kind of register meltdown as they were only taking online orders, you could not order at the store. It was a bit crowded as people were standing by the front door downloading the app and ordering. I picked up my Harvest Bowl and today's missing item was the apple. Sadly, while the apple is not a celebrity fruit, the crunch and sweetness do bring this dish together. I come here two or three times a week to collect my salad . Today night, at 9:46 PM, I arrived here, and the moment I entered, I saw a girl standing there. I asked her can I use a restroom . She replied, "Okay, go ahead." After that, I went into the room, but then someone outside started banging loudly on the door. Just wasted 20 minutes of my life in line, before they told me they were out of avocados, an ingredient that is more than one salad, and Greek goddess ranch which is also in one or more salads. They apparently could not post a sign or let people know before they got to the ordering counter. I am not very pleased that I wasted my time and I went somewhere else to get food. A simple piece of printer paper with writing on it in a pen or sharpie to let people know that they are out of two integral ingredients, would save employees and patrons a lot of time. Updated review on 2/2/21: I'm so sad they changed the menu and took away my fav herby fish and rice. They also discontinued chimichurri chicken plate. So I ended up creating my own bowl this time. Delicious but would be nice if they can bring back the fish and rice plate. Besides that, service was good as always. No ingredient or order missing, which I think is a problem with these type of byo food models. So thank you for the consistency! Lastly, I'm officially obsessed with their green goddess dressing! Sweetgreen has everything you'd want from a salad place. The greens, toppings, and dressing are all top notch. You can build your own salad/bowl, but I suggest trying one of their signature ones. The Super Green Goddess is one of my favorites, mostly because they have the best Green goddess dressing ever! They always have seasonal selections, like the Chicken and Brussels I got today, with some added curry cauliflower which is another seasonal item. I never leave reviews but this last visit was just a shame. I ordered the miso salmon and the piece of salmon they pulled out and put on my plate was ridiculously unappetizing. I couldn't believe she was actually going to serve me this dried up overdone small piece that was maybe 3-4 oz and looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for HOURS. I should have said something but I didn't want to be difficult since she had already made the plate. I honestly hoped she would take it upon herself to get me a different piece considering how gross this piece of fish looked. My mood and facial expression immediately changed when I saw it and I was very reluctant to pay for it. I came in hungry and left still hungry. It's a shame because I generally like SG but I feel like it has been going down hill lately, as it seems they have been lacking in quality control. They honestly just need to take the fish off the menu if all they do is let it sit in an incubator where it just gets overcooked for hrs. The piece looked like it had been there since open, wouldn't be surprised if it was. I am absolutely never getting fish from this place again. And for $17? Laughable.
