Lots of parking, very well organized and all the extras that make HG easy to shop: throw pillows arranged by color, good cards for $1.99 so you can stock up and be ready for all occasions and an aisle full of dish towels with every color/design you can dream of. Animal lover? Prefer plaid over stripes? Towels to proclaim your love of whatever holiday is coming up? There is a towel - and maybe a matching pot holder - for that! Living in the city, the stores around here don't have a lot of the larger furniture items but they had a few big sofas and chairs, tables for homes larger than 600sf (lucky suburbanites) and outdoor rugs larger than my first condo. Extra bonus points for having four registers open on a Friday morning with nice employees at all!

I used to come here to this place when it was a mall and the second they started building strip malls in the parking lot they RUINED this whole area. Market Basket alone needs a massive lot...I went on a weekday while most people should have been work-it was still an ugly mess. Come the holidays AVOID THIS WHOLE AREA. Sorry to the businesses but why would you sign a lease in a place with inadequate parking and NON-STOP TRAFFIC!?!?!?!?

It is also incredibly organized, has a lot of new items (because we have all been in the stores that pretty much just have lots of other store's cast offs in a massive "clearance" section) and lots of registers are open. As mentioned before, the parking lot can be a zoo since people seem to park, go into Market Basket, and stock up on food like they have never seen it before, but park way over on the side and just run right in.

Curtain time was very responsive in getting them corrected. Paul, the designer from CurtainTime, helped me pick out the kitchen shades, and he was top notch and spot on. The selection of blinds is HUGE. The staff there is great. Ilya is wonderful to work with. He helped me find the perfect blinds for my newly remodeled kitchen. I really like being able to find cards that are unique & somewhat local instead of CVS, target type places. I spent more time in this store than I should've but bought several birthday cards that were pretty neat. Many of them were either made from recycled materials or had soy free ink, not the usual Hallmark crap. The store is a decent size & they have other random household items that they sell here. Yeah come in & take a gander, you never know what might find.

She has great people that can help with things like curtain alterations, too, which saved me a huge amount of time and energy. I am in love with my master bedroom! Carol also helped me arrange furniture to accommodate a new piano; gave me great advice on how to use the space on my deck and porch; and gave me a bunch of tips throughout the house just in the time we walked through the rooms. I highly recommend Carol - but be warned - once she gets started you're going to want to re-decorate your entire home!!
