These are the best cupcakes ever, I promise you no other cupcake truck is worth the calories. Better than Sprinkles or any other bakery's sad attempt of trying to sell cupcakes. My serotonin levels go up whenever I spot the cute light pink truck. I will follow them around Oakland and Alameda just to indulge in a Carmel By The Sea cupcake (chocolate devils food cake filled with caramel inside and caramel buttercream frosting on top). The employees are always very sweet and gracious and have been for the last 10 years I've been buying. You can check their Facebook and twitter(x) for location updates.

We've been fans of this cute pink truck at Alameda ever since we tried their cupcakes! The man selling them are so nice and very accommodating to us custoners. He'll surely make your day better even just before buying his cupcakes! Husband and I loved their Chocolate Explosion, What's up Doc, Plain Jane and Coco Chanel. Today i bought my first ever Rocky Balboa haha! Sure thing these cupcake names will makenyou giggle while make up your mind on what to get! Lol We can't wait to try more flavors soon Sweet Treat Stop! Your cupcakes are sinfully delicious!

Happy birthday girl!

Audrey made us a beautiful German Chocolate Cake for my grandmother's 70th birthday. My grandma said she's never tasted anything so delicious, she kept going back for more helpings and she's not a big cake eater, but German Chocolate is her favorite. Audrey was delightful to work with and the cake turned out so beautiful! We'll definitely be ordering more cakes and cupcakes in the future

Update: Came back to check out other flavors. Tried-- Carmel by the sea: good Swiss buttercream, caramel tasted commercial and not made fr scratch, choc cake was good but tasted bitter maybe too much baking soda Snicker doodle- I'm allergic to cinnamon so hubs ate it...he said it was good but had too much cinnamon.

Seeing Sweet Treat Stop, my thought was "oh, how cute - a pink cupcake truck". They were parked not too far from OTG Alameda, on the street. The few cupcakes they had left were fancy, looked quite delicious and yummy - nice presentation. However, the drawback was the price of $4.00 for one cupcake. I changed my mind quickly, as I wasn't quite feeling it - to pay $4.00 for a cupcake. It's nothing against the gentleman selling the cupcakes. I mean he was helpful and friendly. It's just that I'm a penny pincher and cheap. It's the principality, man, and again, let me repeat myself - I'm not gonna pay $4.00. Now if them cupcakes were going at 2 for $7.00 or 3 for $10.50, I might consider buying them. So my visit to this truck was short and sweet. Let me move on.

Pi Day special- Cocunut Pie at Sweet Treat Stop
Denis A.

Found myself mysteriously lured to this truck from the parking lot on the opposite side of the street. Maybe it was the hot pink color of the truck that seemed out of place or maybe it was the Truck's name "sweet Treat Stop" sending subliminal messages to my stomach saying feed me sweets or treats ... Just feed me. Too good to pass up, I parked the car and tossed aside my list of errands and made a beeline for Sweet Treat Stop. The truck looked like it was closing up shop and had the motor running but I made it just in time. I was greeted with a smile from a worker in the truck who explained that they were having a "Pi Day" special, since it was 3/14. She showed us the three different pies they had for sale. I went with the coconut pie which was a banana and coconut layered pie in a small canned jar for $5. Looking at the small canned jar with my son standing next to me, it really didn't look like much. But once we dug in, it was a totally different story. I twisted open the jar seal and the coconut aroma hit me like a ton of bricks; my mouth watered. I took a spoonful of the mini pie careful to get all layers of it on my spoon along with the breading. It was one of those tastings you wanted to savor, so I closed my eyes and let the pie melt off my tongue. The moment of indulgence didn't last long before I felt a sharp tug at my leg reminding me there were greater forces at work ready to tear into some pie too, so I handed over my spoon and pie. Apparently, the spoon only got in the way; before long my son had his entire mouth in the jar. He enjoyed every single last crumb of his treat. (++) Pi Day Special--Coconut pie (+) good location in Emeryville--Baby R' Us parking lot, across from Target.

Best Cupcakes in the Bayarea!! I wish they were out more days but it is worth the wait!

Ordered a box (online) from LA for a sibling that lives in Berkeley. The online ordering was very simple. The company called later that day to confirm my order (very communicative). From the family's consensus, the cupcakes were fantastic. A+ I wish I could have tried them myself, I'll just have to order some next time I go up to visit.

The only issue is there's no clear menu posted online, so we walked in completely blind. Their website shows a long list of flavors but not what they actually have that day, so it felt like a guessing game. The line moved really slow because there was only one employee handling everything. She was taking orders, giving samples, answering questions, and ringing people up all at once. She was super friendly and doing her best, but it felt like a lot for one person during a rush and the shop could definitely use more help. The space is really small and tight so it was hard to even see the flavors until we got close to the front. When we finally got up there, a lot of the tubs were already empty which was confusing since most ice cream shops restock. Some flavors I wanted weren't available anymore, and if they're out it would make more sense to just remove them from display. The dirty containers didn't make sense to display. I sampled the jasmine green tea and knew right away I wanted it. It was creamy with a smooth tea flavor that wasn't overpowering. I got a small with half jasmine green tea and half avocado. The avocado was surprisingly really good, super creamy and tasted like a fresh avocado smoothie. Both flavors weren't overly sweet which I liked. My husband wanted cookies and cream but it was sold out so he got chocolate chip instead, which was solid and creamy with good texture. Overall the ice cream itself was good, not the best I've had but definitely not bad. I like that the flavors lean more natural and not overly sweet. I could see myself coming back if I'm in the area, but the experience would be a lot better with faster service and more consistency with what's actually available.

The churro one was a standout, lightly dusted with sugar and cinnamon, just enough to give it flavor without being over-the-top sweet. The black sesame had a really nice nutty depth that came through well. The chocolate funnel cake flavor was okay, nothing particularly memorable, with the caramel one leaning a bit too sweet for my taste. Also tried the strawberry and mango matcha drinks. Both had a solid fruit purée presence, which balanced nicely with the matcha. Threw in a potato corn dog too, it was super crispy on the outside, with a fun textural contrast from the potato cubes.

That last one... let me tell you, it's incredible. It comes with vanilla ice cream and mango on top... just perfect. The service was excellent, super friendly, and it also arrived really fast (about 30-40 minutes). Everything was delicious. We loved it Definitely coming back. Highly recommend!

I liked all of their Kouign Amanns a lot, especially the strawberry one which added a nice fruit element! Their kouign amanns have very crispy layers and very flaky. I'd honestly recommend all 6 of the pastries we tried, especially since the prices for this place are lower (~$6) than some other high quality bakeries around the Oakland and SF area. The decor inside the bakery is really cute and there are quite a few small tables you can sit at to enjoy the baked goods. Service was nice and fast.
