After being very disappointed by my experience at Julie's Cakes, I asked everyone I came in contact with for a recommendation for a great bakery. I was looking for a great, not your average, very personalized, aviation themed birthday cake for my son's first birthday party. After getting the usual responses for bakeries that are so so and very over priced and spending way to much time on yelp, I got a few recommendations for this little place called The Sweet Tooth in Rosenberg. I was skeptical. I couldn't find anything about them online. No website, no reviews, no nothing. My mother in law and I blindly ventured out into Rosenberg to see what this place was all about. When we pulled up to the little white house I was even more skeptical. When we walked in the door and were surrounded by this incredible smell of fresh cakes baking and adorable cakes waiting to be picked up, I began to have hope. The owner, Andrea, greeted us and showed us her portfolio book. She was very nice and helpful. I looked through her pictures and didn't see exactly what I wanted. I was going for a magnificent 3 tier cake with greatness. I showed her a couple pictures of cakes I had found on the internet. I told her how I wanted to combine some of the elements from the three different cakes into my son's special cake. She said they don't do fondant (I was temporarily saddened but got over it the second her buttercream icing hit my lips) and then she immediately started sketching the cake of my dreams. She gave us a very reasonable price, which we paid, and one of the most delicious cupcakes I have ever had. I almost wrote her a glowing review that day but decided I'd wait to see my cake. I'm glad I waited because I probably would've given her 4 stars. After seeing, smelling and tasting my son's incredible birthday cake I now give The Sweet Tooth in the run down, little white house in Rosenberg 5 stars!!! We went with the white cake with bevarian cream filling. SO YUMMY!!! It had two regular cake tiers (I think a 10 and an 8) on the bottom and the most adorable little "cupcake" on the top that we used as my son's smash cake. I couldn't have asked for more. Don't go anywhere else next time you need a cake for any occasion. You won't be disappointed. read more

Don't go to this cake shop! I went there because I read that they make delicious cakes, and I needed a cake for a birthday party. Being the type that doesn't do HEB, Kroger, or Randalls cakes, I decided to make the drive out to Rosenberg. The lady that greeted me (if you can call it that) was rude and arrogant. She behaved as though she had too much business and didn't need my cake order. She was not accommodating. She said that they were all "booked up for the weekend," and could not help me out. I didn't get to sample her cakes, and I don't care to taste them now. What does it matter that their cakes are so good, if they won't even accept my order!?? read more

Went to a baby shower today and had the tastiest cookies and cupcakes from Sweet Tooth. Delicious, but also so cute! The cookies were beautiful - decorated with such care and just adorable. Wow! These people do amazing work! We needed a last minute cake order for a business blender at our hotel. We submitted it two days before and they had it ready and it looked gorgeous! Their homemade better cream icing is excellent. We ordered a full sheet cake. Half chocolate and half vanilla. Both tasted great, but I think the chocolate was a little better. Still, DELICIOUS cake. One of the best TASTING cakes I've had! She won us over at our cake tasting appt with her fun personality and creativity! Not to mention all the cakes were so flavorful and moist! She took my husband's Groom's Cake above and beyond! I had no clue what I wanted for the Bride's cake and she picked my brain and made the most simple and eloquent tiered cake. Again, it wasn't only beautiful, but it was delicious! I can't wait for our year anniversary just to eat more of it! Only issue we had was our cake toppers were not placed onto the cakes because she couldn't find them....I know she didn't want to stress us out, but it was sad to go up to my cake and not see my piano on top of my cake. So, I tried to call this bakery two weeks before I needed a baptism cake. I called one time and spoke to a lady and was told to call back one week before I needed my cake. I have been using Sweet Tooth for at least 6 years for all my special occasions. Andrea did 2 weddings for my daughters and the cakes were beyond fabulous. I can't count how many showers and birthdays she has done for me. This is one time you really need to shop local!!!
