In April 2025, my wife and I visited Barcelona on our way to Paris, France, and while there we decided to tour a bit of the city via city bus, V17 line that ended at the boat docks. We strolled around a bit while looking at the multi-million dollar boats, and before departing we decided to eat and found Sweet Terraza among the row of restaurants.
I'm a hard critic when it comes to food and restaurants because I cook, so I know good and bad food when I taste it, along with restaurant décor and what is inviting and what is not.
Sweet Terraza, is inviting, and welcoming; it has that "Come Heather" vibe right from the start, and so we did. The only thing missing was white sands, a clear lagoon, and a hammock... sea breeze was provided.
My wife had a very light toast plate since we were having a more formal dinner in the evening; I had a more robust lunch, Sweet Terraza's club sandwich. I have had a few clubs in my day, so for me to write a review about a club sandwich is saying something, so I am... Sweet Terraza's club is amazing!
What sets them apart is they add crispy, crunchy, well-seasoned chicken bits to the sandwich, which adds another dimension of flavor to the sandwich. It was like Popeye's Fried Chicken meets Martha Stewart's homemade club sandwich. That, along with a scrumptious Sangria, and my afternoon was replete!
Our host spoke English, which was a plus since were from the U.S., and was cordial, friendly, and accommodating. The service was quick, and the price was affordable and reasonable.
My advice when visiting Sweet Terraza for an afternoon brunch, try it, you'll love it!
