Food was really good. I was there too early and a lot of the food wasn't available so I was only able to try what I got. The service was great, the lady who I assume was the owner was very nice and friendly

Pricey but the best curry goat I've had in a long time. Too bad their Jamaican patties sold out. The rice and peas and cabbage were very good too.

Stopped here last night a few minutes before closing. I had wanted to get Negril Chicken but they were already closed so this was within walking distance. They didn't have too many protein options (just brown stew chicken and curry chicken), but that was fine with me as I was craving brown stew chicken anyways. I got that with jollof rice and cabbage. I will say the portion size is more than enough! I had enough food for three meals so I was pleased with it. The chicken was juicy, succulent and fell off the bone. I also appreciated the stew. I loved the cabbage! It was probably my favorite part of the meal, and the jollof was pretty good. I'm very picky about jollof since I grew up eating it, and used to it a certain way but theirs was just pretty decent. It was a solid meal, and I'd eat here and recommend!

My family and I visited this place yesterday. I visit a few establishments on this street and finally got the chance to check Sweet Sweet out. I got the oxtail plate with jollof rice, a side of plantain, and ginger beer. The highlight was the rice and oxtail gravy. While the meat was good overall, some pieces were tougher than others but nothing undesirable. I know the prices of everything have gone up but $37 is a bit offputting. I would like to try the stew chicken next time.

We did a delivery service for the food here. While I cannot comment on service or ambiance. The food was amazing! We got the brown chicken stew and goat curry. The flavors were really delicious! The meat was soft and tender and the jallof was really good! I recommend trying this place out! I might have to swing by the restaurant next time!

The food here is amazing. Sweet Sweet Kitchen is a small African/Caribbean restaurant that offers authentic Caribbean & West African food. You will be hooked on your visit. I literally came on a Friday came back on Saturday. My favorite dishes include the Cassava Leaf, this was actually my first time trying this dish. I love the curry chicken and the oxtail is fall off the bone good. I want to try the curry goat and the snapper next but I keep getting the curry chicken. Parking is limited. There are a few tables to enjoy your meal at this location. Prices are big higher then most Caribbean spots, but totally worth it. All the food is halal/kosher.

torch Torch TORCH!! When I say it's hard to find quality Caribbean/West African food, I mean that. EVERYTHING we ordered was delicious and savory. As far as it may be, quality always wins and I'll be back!! The fried chicken was so juicy. Even thought I tasted a hint of ginger! Cassava leaves were spot on. The meat was tender, like goat. I don't have anything to compare it to besides someone's home cooking and it definitely makes top 2! The jerk chicken was pretty good. But the star of the show was the brown stew chicken!! While I'm used to "sweet", this dish had the spicy flavor down to a science!! I literally couldn't get enough. And the jollof rice is so addicting. Everything was a win and I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to try other menu items when I'm obsessed with these picks so far.

I stopped by at this restaurant on a Monday afternoon and it wasn't so busy, but things started picking up after about 1:30pm. However they were able to pick up the speed and cater to everyone. I ordered the cassava leaf dish which came with either a side of jollof rice or white rice. I had the white rice since it was recommended by my server, and it took about 15 minutes for it to be ready. I also asked if I could use the yelp 10% discount that was available to me after checking in and that was also honored. The cassava leaf dish was sooo good and tasted authentic to what you might have in a traditional Sierra Leonian home, I recommend it! They were also quite generous with the serving size and the amount of meat in the dish which I appreciated. My friend had the chicken curry dish and I also liked that too. The staff was nice and very respectful/attentive to me. Stop by if you're in the area and in the mood for some African/Caribbean cuisine!

We started with the Oysters Rockefeller, which were rich and flavorful, followed by the Grand Marnier Society Wings--a standout appetizer with a great balance of sweet and savory flavors. The Mac & Cheese was creamy and made for the perfect side. For our entrées, we ordered the Calypso Pan Seared Branzino and the Coconut Curry Snapper. Both dishes were served with vegetables of the day, rice and peas, and sweet plantains, creating a well-rounded and satisfying meal. The seafood was cooked well, and the Caribbean-inspired flavors added a unique twist to each dish. For drinks, we enjoyed The Pearl, the Lavender French 75, The Golden Hour, and an Old Fashioned. Each cocktail was well-crafted and paired nicely with the menu. We finished with the Warm Cookie Skillet, topped with vanilla bean ice cream and a caramel drizzle. It arrived warm, gooey, and was the perfect dessert to share. Beyond the food, the renovated space feels modern and inviting, making it a great option for date nights, celebrations, or a night out with friends. If you're looking for an elevated seafood experience with Caribbean-inspired flavors, Society Seafood is worth checking out.

The rice and peas tasted like they were missing coconut milk. While I was waiting, I ordered a red stripe. They charged me $10.60 for that. I can get a case for that price. I was expecting $6 max. The sauce was so bland I started wondering if the seasoning just forgot to clock in for its shift. Calling it "jerk" shrimp was generous--there was nothing jerky about them unless you count how rubbery they were. The shrimp tasted like they were cooked by someone who mentally checked out before the pan even heated up. Whatever jerk flavor was advertised must've taken a detour, because it never made it anywhere near my plate. And the vegetables? They had all the energy of a mandatory Monday morning meeting. Overall, this dish promised bold Caribbean flavor but delivered a masterclass in disappointment. I won't be ordering it again. And honestly, if blandness were a sport, this dish would be taking home the gold. Oh, and it was overpriced. P.S. Despite being given the wrong order, the service was top tier and amazing.

At heart, I'm a man that truly enjoy most Caribbean dishes ( oxtails, goat, curry/jerk chicken,…read moreroti, etc ) So, I set out on a quest to give a new Caribbean cuisine restaurant a shot at winning me over. That's when I bumped into Caribbean Dish... The name got me, yes it's basic, but the title was exactly what I was looking for. The restaurant is in a small unassuming parking lot... if you don't know it's there, you probably will miss it ( so glad I didn't !! ) The minute I walked in, I felt authentic family vibes ( something I look for when choosing my Caribbean locations ) The service was very friendly, and they cleared everything up when I wasn't sure if my particular craving could be fulfilled ( the combo I desired wasn't on their daily menu ) My sights were set on the oxtail and curry goat combo ( of course with rice & peas and veggies ! ) And when I say the goat was tender, and seasoned to perfection... while the oxtails had that juicy meatiness that will for sure keep me coming back. The rice & peas were cooked just right ( texture was on point ) and the veggies still had that freshness that brought everything else together. I love my Caribbean dishes saucy and not dry ( they get two thumbs up in that department ! ) Family vibes, cheerful greeting, and amazing food.... Caribbean Dish you just locked yourself in a loyal customer !!!!! Give them a shot and I can almost guarantee you won't be disappointed !!!
