This place is worth the wait! It's a small restaurant with a few side tables and chairs in doors. It's a bit cramped. But there is plenty of seating outside where up to six people can fit in one table and it's shaded with outdoor fans which was nice. The food was delicious. I ended up getting the the pad Thai, berry sweet stacks, and the strawberry matcha. I definitely would share if I was coming with somebody. Everything tasted fresh and the portions were huge. My favorite thing that I got here ended up being the Matcha. I like that wasn't too sweet. It was very well balanced with the strawberry purée at the bottom - would definitely come here again just for the drinks. If you come for the sweet stacks, just prepare to wait like 40 minutes because they said making those takes a long time and It did. We didn't mind since we were eating and chatting , but I definitely call ahead if I was just picking that up. read more

It's been a few months since Sweet Stacks opened. I've been here twice. Both times have been great! First time, I just got the mango matcha. It wasn't too sweet. Good amount of matcha flavor. I would have preferred a bit more of the mango puree at the bottom for more of that flavor. Nonetheless, it was still good. Also, of course, great aesthetic! The second time I came was later in the evening for dinner. This time, I got the Krapow fried rice. I believe the minced meat was chicken. The spice was at a three. Since we're at an Asian establishment, three (out of five) I'd say is a good amount of spice. It definitely required a glass or two of water. The fried egg went well. I just wish the yolk was a bit more runny. To end the night, we also got the mango sticky rice. This usually isn't on their menu but it was offered for the night. We were lucky! The sticky rice was nice and warm with a good amount of coconut flavor. Now, from what I remember, the mango itself was also warm. I thought it was usually supposed to be cold. It was still good but I definitely would have preferred it cold for the contrast. There was also a bit more rice than or less mango; either way, I felt like the proportions were a bit off. With both visits, I will confidently say that the service was stellar. Both times, they have been incredibly busy (for good reason)! The staff work hard and clearly put their best effort. At times there is a wait, but it's has not been absurd. Additionally, on that second visit, we stayed a bit longer past closing time. The workers were incredibly kind and understanding despite us being annoying haha. Overall, I would definitely come back again! One day, I'll try their main dish... the japanese pancakes! read more

Best matcha I've had in Ft Worth hands down. Perfect every time. I also love the Vietnamese coffee. The flavor is the perfect amount of sweet and strong, you can't go wrong! They let me and my group sit outside for hours and even told us goodbye and they appreciated our business as they closed up shop for the day. Their patio seating is super spacious with fairy lights and they have somewhat of a "drive thru" style window if you order from outside. There is indoor seating as well but it can be a little crowded as it's a slim space. Love the people, food, and place! read more

First and foremost my Wife and I feel this place was a 10/10 on everything. Now the inside is super small and there is not much seating but that's doesn't mean your food won't taste good. The flavors were on point for everything. Both noodle dishes were packed with flavor and the portion looked small but once you start eating you get full quickly. This place was okay. The thai tea matcha was a little bitter. The brown sugar matcha was a little too sweet. The taro matcha was too sweet and thick. The mango sticky rice was really good and perfect tho! The service was really welcoming. The spot is pretty small but it makes it cozy. read more

Outstanding little hole in the wall! I'm so glad we found this cute little spot! We had a party of 9 and every one of us said we'd come back. This is a casual walk in and order kind of place. The food is Asian and they serve up Japanese pancakes and matcha. I ordered the pit sticker, which were just okay, but my garlic rice combo was delicious! The rice was perfect and the beef, chicken, and shrimp were nicely seasoned. It was plenty for me! I also tried the mango matcha which was delicious. My husband got a strawberry drink he said was super refreshing and my daughters ordered some of the pancakes. I was pretty full but took a bite. They were super light and fluffy. They have some cute patio seating. You can wait there and they'll call your number. Park in the backside if you don't get something up front. It's a short walk. Definitely worth a visit! read more

My first visit after hearing this place took over Vice. The chefs who I believe are the owners were very sweet and greeted me right away. You can watch them cook on the wok, which is always a nice touch. The girl at the counter was friendly as well. I ordered the tofu pad Thai at medium spice, but it could have used more heat. I added gochugaru on the side, which helped. Since I got it to go, I asked for extra pad Thai sauce so it wouldn't dry out by the time I got home, and they were happy to accommodate. The dish did lean a bit sweet, but overall it was still good. Their matcha drinks and fluffy pancakes looked really appetizing. I'd definitely come back to try those. Parking is limited in the area, and there's a small counter for seating inside, but a decent patio if you want to eat there. Glad to have another Thai option in the area. read more

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. This spot has a very nice patio area to sit and enjoy. We ordered a fried rice, noodles, shrimp appetizer and berry soufflé pancakes. Wow!! I'm so happy I was scrolling through IG looking for new spots in the area. This place popped up in my feed. This is a small spot with 5-star service and food! We arrived about 1pm or so and they were already out of their souffle pancakes. The young lady at the register told me that they run out daily quickly. No worries for me, since they have a nice large menu, so we ordered Duck Fat Fried Rice, Garlic Pepper with egg bowl with tofu, egg rolls, and a Fresh coconut cloud foam drink with Taro coconut. My drink came out first and OMGoodness, it was amazing. I didn't know what to expect having never had it before, but it was so fresh, light, smooth, creamy.....with the perfect sweetness. As soon as I started sipping, I realized I would have to come back and try every drink on the menu since this one was so good. I noticed almost all customers getting a drink with their food order. Our food was amazing. The hubby pretty much inhaled his Duck Fat fried rice that was packed with layers of flavor. My garlic pepper with egg bowl was the best garlic pepper bowl I've ever had. That sauce was something special. The hubby who rarely eats tofu actually ate the last bits of my bowl b/c it was so good. Oh, and lucky us! The delightful folks working there let us know that they could make one last oder of souffle pancakes if we were willing to wait the 25 minutes it takes to make them. Of course, we said, "Yes!" We ordered the Valentine's Day special version of the pancakes. Well, folks, I would have waited a full hour for those light, soft, jiggly creations. They were well worth the wait! The Valentine's Day version comes topped with a cloud foam strawberry sauce, sliced fresh strawberries, and a side of fresh strawberry puree. One of the owners came out to chat with us - probably b/c she saw us ordering and eating so much good food. LOL! She was very sweet and told me that they've only been open about a month and have been very busy since opening. The food here is so good b/c it is all obvisiously made fresh to order. The two young people working the front counter let us know that you can call in orders. Either way, some restaurants are well worth the wait and this spot in going into my all time favorite Fort Worth places to eat. There is nearby free street parking. The interior is small. There are 2 tables and then a long bar table along the wall, but they do take out. Everyone working here is as nice as their food is delicious. I will certainly be back!! read more

No because I've been here multiple times and had multiple drinks and I love them. My favorite by far has been their mango matcha with the strawberry matcha following closely behind. Their banana cream latte was amazing and I recently tried their matcha with the banana cream and omg yessss it was so good. I think the only drink I've had that I wasn't a big fan of was their taro matcha but it just wasn't as strong in flavor as I would like it to be but was still decent. This is by far the best place for matcha for sure. Everyone is always super helpful when I order and although it does take a bit during peak hours the wait is worth it and they're so nice as well! Review is only on drinks. My daughter and I visited on a busy Sunday morning. The restaurant is very cozy with only a few tables. We wanted to try the pancakes but it was going to be over an hour wait so we opted to just grab drinks and try the pancakes another day. There's no parking and we had to make a few rounds before we found street parking. Service was friendly even though they were so busy. I got the strawberry matcha and my daughter got the strawberry milk. They were both delicious but our favorite was the strawberry milk. It was not too sweet but very good! I'm not the biggest Thai food type of guy, but this place, for me, has got some great food. I've had Pad see ew once or twice at some Thai places that had good reps, but still not a big fan. I got some here, level 2 spicy and it was fantastic. It was so much better than any Pad see ew I've ever had before. Apart from the spiciness it had a really good flavor to it, and not any of the greasy aspects that I've had at other places. First time I went I got the Duck fat fried rice. I'm always interested in duck fat anything, and this brought me in. Most of the time, it's usually something that turns out pretty lackluster but this is some serious fried rice. I've had it a couple times, level 1 hardly any spice, but level 2 has a noticeable level without being lingering hot. It comes with shrimp, beef, and chicken. Great flavor, great stuff. My favorite thing. The spicy Lao sausage was very good. Probably the most spicy of what I've gotten but still not hot enough to be a bad thing. I loved it. I can only say that everything I've gotten has been really good. I've been several times now. They also do souffle pancakes "stacks", matcha, and other coffee drinks. I hadn't had a Vietnamese iced coffee in forever, so I tried one of theirs around noon on a weekend. I still had a hard time getting to sleep. It was good, but it was really strong. Strongest one I ever remember having. Place is small inside with only one table, and a counter with a few stools. During peak hours either get it to go, or be prepared to eat a-hole to elbow inside, or on the patio, which has a decent amount of seating. I get mine to go. Prices are what I consider fair and good. My entrees have been around $17 or so, and spicy Lao sausage was $10. Worth it to me. read more

Not specifically in Thailand but I've enjoyed street food all over the world and if you have too, you know that there can be something really special about it that's difficult to recreate in a brick and mortar kitchen. I believe Sweet Stacks has somehow captured that particular magic and I'm grateful they're serving it up so close to home! Even though they've only been open for a few days, (since early December), they appear to be well established and operating like they've been doing this here for years. Onto the food: in two meals in as many days, I sampled four menu items plus the Thai Tea Matcha, and it's all wonderful. For dinner last night I had the duck fat fried rice, which was surprisingly packed with protein and I highly recommend it. The steamed version of their dumplings are absolutely succulent and I'm looking forward to trying them fried. The Lao spicy sausage with lemongrass and kafir lime leaf is one of the most interesting and delicious things I've eaten in ages. For brunch today, I couldn't resist ordering their biggest breakfast stack: two fluffy soufflé cakes with bacon and eggs and WOW. Everything was cooked perfectly but be advised that you might need to request butter and syrup. The service is warm and friendly and they'll happily walk through the menu with you. I had heard about this cutesy new restaurant on Tik Tok and knew I had to try it! Upon entering we were greeted and the ambiance was fun and pleasant! We came at around 1 p.m and noticed it was a bit busy, the most popular items seems to be the Soufflé Pancakes and they do let you know ahead of time it takes around 25-30 minutes to make so do keep that in mind! Honestly, I'd say to be patient with them, this is a new restaurant that quickly became popular through social media so the wait times CAN be longer, however the wait is definitely worth it! We tried the Strawberry Matcha and Banana Cream Latte and they are both delicious! Seriously recommend getting either/or. Pancakes were delicious and such a treat, fluffy and cooked all the way through, you can really tell the ingredients used are high quality. I would recommend getting here early! The line goes out the door given how small of a space there is inside for standing and eating. They have two tables to sit and eat at and a bar top along the wall. Everyone is pretty crammed waiting for their order so I suggest taking Togo if possible! The food was amazing! The flavor was there for sure! The drinks were really good too! Food wise we tried the the egg rolls I didn't care for them as they were veggie only but still good. Lao spicy sausage was really good lots of ginger flavor. The Spaghetti Kee Mow was delicious . Ka-prow with fried egg and last but not least the breakfast stacks! Drinks wise we tried the strawberry matcha, watermelon tea and the strawberry milk tea and all were really good! My only complaint was my drinks came out last and it was about 30 later. So amazingly good! Best matcha I've had, I ended up getting another one to go! And the food was also so good! I'm going to be dreaming about the cloudy matcha stack, it was heavenly. Expect long lines, be patient, but it's worth the wait.
