We worked with both Amanda and Alli over four years, and my son made tremendous progress in his expressive language and speech pragmatics. The team is not only dedicated to making speech fun, but they attend regular workshops and conferences to keep at the cutting edge of new techniques and protocols, applying what works best for their little clients. We moved to the East Bay, or we'd still be with BASS. Fingers crossed that they open a location here!

I was turned off by that immediately. When we contacted Amanda I immediately felt comfortable and reassured that she was the best fit for us. There was no pressure or immediate schedule or routine because she really didn't know what he needed until she met him. She has a way with our son that not only makes him comfortable but makes his learning and therapy fun. Thanks to her he has come a long way in a short amount of time. She really cares about him and his progress and provides play activities that will best enhance his therapy sessions. Lj always looks forward to seeing her and playing with her, she really takes the time to get to know your child and helps establish a set goal. This is why we believe he is doing so well, she is really great and we highly recommend her!!!

She built…read morea connection with him from the very start, and it was an easy decision for us to follow Gina to her private practice when she started her own business. During the time they worked together his speech blossomed and he looked forward to her visits every week. Furthermore she was wonderful for us parents, giving us information, encouragement, and advice about child development. Even though his younger sister was not technically her client, Gina welcomed and included her in the sessions when she wandered in and wanted to play, and turned that time into lessons for both of them on how to play and talk to each other. When he started kindergarten she guided us in the process of how to get him into school-based speech therapy. It was truly bittersweet when he graduated from her care, but we know it was a testament to the tremendous progress he made with her help. We love Gina; she is an authentically warm, kind, and compassionate human being. We hope many more families get the opportunity to get to know her!

Words cannot accurately describe what a wonderful speech therapist and human Gina is. She is compassionate, thoughtful, deeply knowledgeable, knows exactly how to keep kiddos engaged in a fun and positive way, and I particularly appreciate her neuroaffirming and strengths based approach. Not only did she help my son progress and thrive, she was a wonderful advocate and support for us parents as well, always willing to help with school or IEP related questions. We miss her so much! 100% recommend Gina and her services.

His expressive speech has completely transformed and he really enjoys each session with his speech therapist (he adores her!!). As a parent, what I have so valued about Speech Inc is their thorough, data-driven recording of abilities and progress, and outlining of specific goals that we revisit quarterly. I was a little apprehensive of how engaged my son could be once we had to switch to virtual appointments but have been so impressed with how well his speech therapist has been able to keep him engaged and keep his progress steady. It will be a bittersweet day when he graduates soon!

He's learned to better communicate and we have even seen a change is his behavior. When he first started Speech (at ~2 yrs old), it was tough. My son used to cry for most of the time, but as he went once every week, he became comfortable and really enjoyed going there. They even started a small pre-k class, and he loved it! Unfortunately, COVID hit not too long after, but fortunately for us, when he started Kindergarten, Speech allowed his sessions to continue virtually. We'd like to especially thank Brooke and Erica, they have both been such wonderful teachers and really connected with my son. They have been so patient, pleasant, well-informative and understanding throughout our years at Speech.

We were very happy with the way Jill could work with him and help us problem solve on different issues with him. She is always learning up to the minute techniques and methods and then applying them to her therapy, which I really appreciate. I am also a speech therapist, so I know she knew her stuff. She was also available for to collaborate with the rest of my son's "team" (including teachers and other staff working with him) to come up with ways to help him with whatever issues he may have been facing. We really loved working with her, and recommend her to anyone who is looking for a speech therapist.

Shortly after Jill began working with my son he began to articulate sounds clearly, then words, phrases, and now sentences and conversations. Jill is absolutely amazing with children and is a true pro at teaching and expanding speech using play, games, books, and interesting and child friendly materials. She is calm, smart, collaborates well with parents and other providers, and always prepares individually for each session based on the current needs of the child. Jill is thoughtful and thorough in her approach. She tailors each session to the child's needs and makes learning fun. I highly recommend Jill, she has been absolutely wonderful in helping my son progress, as well as being a pleasure to work with.

Within the first two weeks we noticed an improvement! And family members stated that they could understand him better. The reason we are so thrilled with her services is that my son has developed a relationship with Cynthia. She is patient, proffesional, engaging, positive, and encouraging! (And physically gets down at eye level and works with him.) He looks forward to playing "word games with her and her toys"! One of her strongest points is that she really takes the time to teach you and keep you current on things she is working on so you can connect the home and school gap. For example; weekly word updates, teaching us the signs she is using for letters along with word sounds. She is very knowledgable and does an amazing job enganging the children while getting them to "work". Even my daughter loves her and usually has a bit of a fit when I take her out of the room so her brother can do his "word games". We are so thrilled and thankful to have Cynthia working with our son and family!
