This team is phenomenal. Truly... my son had not yet been diagnosed with anything, but I knew his…read morespeech was in trouble. I did a bit of research and found Amanda and her team. We worked with both Amanda and Alli over four years, and my son made tremendous progress in his expressive language and speech pragmatics. The team is not only dedicated to making speech fun, but they attend regular workshops and conferences to keep at the cutting edge of new techniques and protocols, applying what works best for their little clients. We moved to the East Bay, or we'd still be with BASS. Fingers crossed that they open a location here!

We LOVE Amanda!!!…read more Before we found her, I did my research and contacted many speech therapist in our area, granted our son was not a severe case, most speech therapist I inquired about already had him on a strict lesson and weekly attendance schedule even prior to assessing him. I was turned off by that immediately. When we contacted Amanda I immediately felt comfortable and reassured that she was the best fit for us. There was no pressure or immediate schedule or routine because she really didn't know what he needed until she met him. She has a way with our son that not only makes him comfortable but makes his learning and therapy fun. Thanks to her he has come a long way in a short amount of time. She really cares about him and his progress and provides play activities that will best enhance his therapy sessions. Lj always looks forward to seeing her and playing with her, she really takes the time to get to know your child and helps establish a set goal. This is why we believe he is doing so well, she is really great and we highly recommend her!!!

We are so fortunate that our son worked for 3 years with Ms. Gina from age 2.5 until 5.5. She built…read morea connection with him from the very start, and it was an easy decision for us to follow Gina to her private practice when she started her own business. During the time they worked together his speech blossomed and he looked forward to her visits every week. Furthermore she was wonderful for us parents, giving us information, encouragement, and advice about child development. Even though his younger sister was not technically her client, Gina welcomed and included her in the sessions when she wandered in and wanted to play, and turned that time into lessons for both of them on how to play and talk to each other. When he started kindergarten she guided us in the process of how to get him into school-based speech therapy. It was truly bittersweet when he graduated from her care, but we know it was a testament to the tremendous progress he made with her help. We love Gina; she is an authentically warm, kind, and compassionate human being. We hope many more families get the opportunity to get to know her!

Words cannot accurately describe what a wonderful speech therapist and human Gina is. She is compassionate, thoughtful, deeply knowledgeable, knows exactly how to keep kiddos engaged in a fun and positive way, and I particularly appreciate her neuroaffirming and strengths based approach. Not only did she help my son progress and thrive, she was a wonderful advocate and support for us parents as well, always willing to help with school or IEP related questions. We miss her so much! 100% recommend Gina and her services.

She was a person of interested that pretending to be his caregiver. However, she is not a real caregiver, she was taking all of his money and causing him to be sick. This place do not care about their patients. The communication is bad, the staff do not communicate with each other. They never inform the people at the front with any information. I had to drive always from Vallejo to be informed that my brother had been discharged. When in fact the front desk worker had no idea or been informed that he had been checked out. When I visited my brother I heard the patients complaining about the services they were getting. It's unfortunately, that a place like this is one of the worst heath care facility in San Francisco. Whatever, happened to the confidentiality of the patients? Beverly Al-Kareem 415-368-3297 cc: The Mayor's office of Aging The Attorney General Office The Media
