I ordered 4pcs strip combo, 8 pcs chicken thighs with all sauces and watermelonade. The chicken thigh is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It has little kick on outside so highly recommend to dip it in creamy garlic sauce. So delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors of chicken. The combo is great. portions are good! It comes with delicious chicken strip, fries and Hawaiian bread. All sauces are really good. But my favorites are creamy garlic and house sauce. You should order watermelonade. I've been to this place twice. The first time was absolute perfection and the second time was... kind-of "meh". It looks like they may have re-branded, too (to "Sweet Radish") - and changed the menu somewhat, so not sure how much help this review will actually be. I ordered both times online - it was easy/painless, and my order was ready when they said it would be. Great start! The first time, like with any place, I got way too much stuff - which is super fun in itself - I got all three different kinds of chicken - thighs, tenders, and wings. For us, the tenders were the clear winners - perfectly cooked, meaty, big, perfectly breaded. The thighs were like popcorn chicken, smaller than I thought they'd be... and wings were just wings (both were good, I just preferred the tenders). I also got a bunch of the sides - fries, cheese fries, a sweet macaroni salad. The cheese fries were super fun - basically dusted in cheese dust like Cheetos. Fun. And the macaroni salad was SUPER DIFFERENT - very sweet, and very refreshing with blazing spicy chicken. The second time we went, I think they might have overcooked everything - and the breading was falling off of everything when we got it home. It could have also just steamed itself off - maybe the packaging was different or something. But that was just a minor bummer. My wife ordered and didn't get THE HOTTEST SAUCE which was a big standout for me (maybe it was the "Seoul Hot") - a delicious wing sauce that was also actually spicy. So, that kind-of ruined my experience (no fault of the business). I noticed they didn't seem to have as many super hot sauces on the new Sweet Radish menu. Bummer. 9 Delicacies is at the end of the strip mall behind the McDonald's. We were worried we were in the wrong place, but we weren't! Fast food Korean, but not too fast, but not "sit down slow". Real food made in a real kitchen and if you dine-in you eat on real plates with real utensils. Four dinners and we got 3 bulgogi plates and 1 original chicken sandwich without fries (fries cost extra, but he wasn't hungry enough to add fries). Next time we'll have to get the legs; which were obviously a favorite from the feature on the menu and the other diners' plates. read more

Their website says they have the "best chicken on the planet". That's pretty brazen to post, but after eating there today, I agree 100%. It's a small place, stuffed to the side of a group of shops around a Safeway. If you weren't looking for it, I'm not sure you'd see it. It's too bad really, because that place was amazing. Though, people are finding it because it was packed. My friend and I ordered two different sandwiches. I got the Sweet & Spicy and he got the Nashville Hot. You can get different levels of heat on your sandwiches but we opted to go for the "normal" heat. Y'all, it was smokin hot. The Sweet & Spicy was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. It's served with a coleslaw and between the slaw, the perfect bun and that chicken, it's gonna be a long time before I stop thinking about it. Do yourself a favor. GO TO SWEET RADISH. There's something for every pallet, but be aware that hot is HOT! If you choose to go with the heat, make sure to get a mild side and a big glass of water, (you'll need it)! Found this place just by searching chicken up north of Seattle. I think it's lowkey like a Korean version of Ezell's chicken. I really like the combo tender which was good portions for the price, and the tenders were juicy, also I really liked their dipping sauces which you can pick 2 with the combo. Their chicken was fried dark meat pieces which is my fav. I don't get why places use white meat chicken. That dark meat is the only way Honestly there wasn't any part of the meal i didn't like. My fussy 2 yr old didn't try to fight eating and she's super picky. Like a cute toddler version of the food critic in Ratatouille Sides were a fresh kimchee type salad which i loved, especially the cucumber bits. Cucumber kimchee da bomb! (Do kids these days still say da bomb? Or has it gone the way of rascals and don't be a square?). The other side was a Hawaiian type Mac salad that was good but not as good as other Mac salad of the island type that i have tried. Price was a little expensive but honestly, pandemic, inflation, i ain't complaining. It's a good value. Constructive criticism:. Chicken was soggy, not much you can do when the crispy chicken is steaming itself in a take out container. Kimchee salad and Mac was too warm from being in the same container as the chicken. Only thing i could say is prolly like pit some holes in the tops of those containers to let some steam out and package your colds separate from your hot food. We ordered dinner from here tonight because we were craving some fried chicken with a twist. Being from LA, I love Asian food and have been spoiled with amazing options for it. While this place was good, it definitely doesn't compare to the ktown places in LA. We ordered the Korean fried chicken plates with the spicy sauce on the chicken. It also came with rice, roasted cauliflower and a spicy cucumber and cabbage salad. The Korean fried chicken was still crispy when it was delivered which was great. The sauce was tasty and pretty spicy. I didn't love that the chicken was a bit stringy and had a little too much breading on it. There was also cilantro under the chicken and on top of the rice which I had to pick out because I hate cilantro. The roasted cauliflower was tasty but nothing special. It was interesting that it had dill on it because that's not something you typically find in Korean cooking but it went well with it. The spicy cucumber and cabbage salad was delicious but had too much dressing on it. They should only put on about half the amount they do and then it would be perfect. 4-5 years ago when this was still called "9 Delicacies", their Soy Garlic chicken Sandwich was amazing. The thick cut of fried chicken, the sauce, & the pickled daikon all paired together super well. Then the food seemed to change a couple years ago & i wasn't nearly as impressed with the chicken sandwich, and i stopped eating from here for a while. However after recently giving it another shot, I'm happy to see their chicken sandwich seemed to much closer to that original sandwich from way back, will definitely be getting food from here more frequently. TL;DR - Food was great and the place was extremely clean, felt nice to eat their and the person taking the order was very nice. Came back a second time. If you've been around Everett or live here like I do you'd know how difficult it is to find a place that is clean, affordable, and taste amazing. Especially now after the pandemic. This restaurant fits all categories and especially for a local Everett location to be this clean and organized is a breathe of fresh air. The food was so amazing here that I had to come here for a second time the next day. The food offers competitive prices with restaurant quality food. The sauces where amazing we tried 4 sauces with the Sweet n Spicy/Hotlapeno chicken sandwhiches and they did not disappoint. Sweet and spicy didn't have as much flavor but the sandwhich was still amazing now if you want something that packs a punch i'd recommend the Hotlapeno sandwhich. I'd note that the Creamy macaroni salad wasn't really what I like but I also am not a big fan of macaroni salad, also the Watermelonade is scrumptious: Quick tip; Mix it. I am going to be bringing a group of friends soon to try the food here and am excited for them to try it, 3 Times in one week is how good this place is. Also make sure to TRY the sauces, the sauces they make are hands down so amazing i'd love to buy bottles of this sauce, it was just an unexpected and surreal experience that everything went so smoothly to the point that i honestly really want to gate-keep this place to keep the traffic down because of the experience I've had to keep it the same but this business deserves growth. It's local and it's amazing. Last thing I want to talk about is how amazing the waffle fries are, they're so crispy and crunchy is insane. We've been watching a lot of K drama lately and one day as we were sitting on the couch, we simultaneously had a craving for KFC... actually, it was because people were eating it in an episode! The next day we found 9 Delicacies dangerously close to an appointment we had that day, so off we went after ordering our food on Yelp. The storefront is tiny and well kept. Maybe they once had a table or two inside or outside but the pandemic and a relentless winter has done away with seating--you've got to take it to go. The person behind the counter knew my name when I gave it to them for my order. The menu board is clean and well designed. There seemed to be plenty of parking in the parking lot on a work day around 4:30. Our food was done in about 10 minutes from ordering and we rushed home to try it for the first time. The macaroni salad is addictive and thankfully not as sweet as Hawaiian mac salad. The slaws and pickled vegetables were delicious, as was the bulgogi, although they forgot the egg I ordered as a topping :( and the KFC we tried was pretty on point. We got some with honey garlic sauce and a plate with sweet and spicy sauce. I liked that the sweet and spicy sauce wasn't too spicy. I wish there was more garlic honey sauce on the chicken (it was so good) but it didn't really coat the chicken. While the sauces were tasty, I think the chicken could have been crispier. I'm not sure if it's because we didn't eat it right away, but I'd eat it right after ordering it next time. The food was so well wrapped and fit into the to-go bag so perfectly that it looked super compact and I wondered if what I paid was worth the seemingly small amount of food we bought. Tried this place with a family of four. Not a lot of space to sit so be prepared to take to go. Wings we tasted were good and they have a solid batter so you have to dip. They have a large variety of sauces and if you like hot sauce the spicy Seoul Hot sauce is good. Maybe it was just when we visited, but the family platter was supposed to come with toast but instead we got sweet hawaiian rolls instead.
