Great place. Super nice staff. Good pie. More baked goods would be great to try. I wish they'd bring back slices of cake.

From the moment you step in, you're greeted with the most charming ambiance -- think soft pink tones, elegant floral decor, and an atmosphere that feels like a page out of a fairytale. I had the pleasure of trying a variety of treats -- from the Dubai Strawberry Chocolate to cookies, lemon bars, and honestly, almost one of everything on display. Each item was a standout in its own right: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Dubai Strawberry Chocolate in particular was an indulgent highlight, perfectly balancing sweetness and richness. What truly sets Sweet Chatchaya apart, though, is the warmth of the people behind the counter. The owner radiates genuine joy and passion for what she does, and it shows in every detail -- from the decor to the desserts. Her husband was equally kind and helpful, making the experience even more delightful. Whether you're looking to treat yourself or impress someone with beautifully crafted sweets, Sweet Chatchaya is the place to be. It's more than just a bakery -- it's a sweet little escape.

In addition to a mint flavor burst ice cream cone I ordered a cheeseburger and wonton mozzarella sticks. The wonton mozzarella sticks are an incredible value given how many you get for the price. Crispy on the outside and had good cheese pull. The cheeseburger, which had a nice flaky bun, had excellent flavor and is one of the better burgers I've had in the area. It made me sad that I hadn't visited Jim's Place before. I wanted the blue goo flavor of flavor burst, but they were out of it that day, so I went for mint instead. It wasn't super strong like I had hoped, but you could taste the mint. I would probably get a different flavor next time (hopefully they have blue goo available at that point). The gentleman that took my order and made my food (who I assume was Jim?) was very kind. I originally ordered to dine in and switched to to-go as he was bringing my food out because of an urgent matter. He boxed it up for me and never once had an issue with the sudden change. I appreciated it very much.

Despite the fact the restaurant alone was small and the tables were close together, the staff was friendly and very busy. I really enjoyed how they decorated the walls with nostalgic memories such as the gumball machine, 70's music, beanie baby crane and a lot of "my name is Jim" tags for everyone to remember. I would move the tables out at a little further for people who want a lot of space. Also, there needs to be a parking lot made behind or next to the restaurant so that no one will have to parallel park and walk there. I would definitely recommend this place for anybody who loves delicious food at great prices.

It's a mini Airstream parked off the main street, and there strung up lights and picnic tables. We ordered: +a scoop of Butter Pecan on a waffle cone +a scoop of Caramel Collision on a kiddie cone - this was caramel ice cream with caramel swirls and chocolate coated caramel mini cups The ice cream was okay, but not sure if they are keeping the freezer cold enough; it was already melting when the employees were handing the cones to us. The big thing: I just thought it was super gross that the employees who were preparing the ice cream treats/cones were not using gloves; the kiddie cones didn't have a paper slip since it was too small, but the waffle cones did, and the employees were still handling it incorrectly. UGH. I'm glad I was able to check this place out, but the sanitary situation was just a bit too much for me. +gloveless handling of ice cream/cones

The "best" local place that was open in January was The Chocolate Chisel. My family and I stopped and each got a cone. I also got three truffles. The truffles I bought were chai tea milk, experimint milk (ganache with peppermint extract), and peppermint hot chocolate. The chai tea and experimint milk truffles both tasted like they should based on their descriptions, but I wouldn't wantto buy either again. The peppermint hot chocolate had some crushed peppermint on top, but other than the chocolate being in the shape of a mug, nothing about it reminded me of hot chocolate. Ultimately I don't think any of them were worth the price. The ice cream was lackluster. Both of my kids got cookies and cream in a cake cone and thought it was skimpy on the cookies part. My wife and I sprung for waffle cones with ours and were both disappointed in the excessive cone to ice cream ratio that heavily favored the cone. She got plain chocolate and it was fine. I, however, got banana-rama and ended up throwing it out because it tasted more like butter pecan than anything banana related. I even went back inside and verified with the employee that it wasn't mislabeled in the case.
