It started okay even though I couldn't get the chair adjusted properly. Had to get a pillow because the seat was so deep and uncomfortable for my back. Then the guy doing my pedicure hit my right cuticle on my toe with the trimmers and it did hurt. He seemed hurried and rushed the whole thing. For me to let out a yell in the middle of a salon is very unusual. Never experienced this level of service. Then to top the off at the end, he rammed my foot into my shoe with wet toe nails and had to redo three of my toenails. I thought he was going to do the same thing with my other flip flop but didn't, thankfully. The lady that did the eyebrow wax was rough but not as bad as the gentlemen. Made another appointment with Anthony and was disappointed when they said he was on vacation, I would have rather they told me that before I got there but I stayed at got a full set with someone else. The someone else was terrible. He seemed to be rushing, I had to remind him of steps he was missing, and my nails looked like they were painted by a 5 year old. I have never asked for a service to be done again but before I left I asked the owner if I could have my gel polish repainted at least. Well he had the same guy paint them again with the same result... I guess I'll only be coming back when my appointment is actually honored and not trust them when they say "everyone is good." Open from 9 AM till 7 PM weekdays, 9 AM till 6 PM Saturdays, & 11 AM till 5 PM Sundays, this salon has been open just shy of two years. Potential customers may conveniently schedule appointments ONLINE, or they may phone or walk-in. *Beware: the parking lot is busy due to Starbucks, & at times the drive through line blocks the cars parked in front of the salon. Sweet Nail Spa had no exterior or interior pics, & since I was nearby (w/ acrylic nails that were in desperate need of a redo), I decided to stop in. I phoned from my vehicle & was told I could have an appt 2.5 hrs later. I explained I was outside & didn't mind waiting 30 min or so. I was welcomed in, & after 15 min I was seated in front of a nail tech (who was behind plexiglass.) Masks are mandatory, & they are available for purchase ($1). I decided to go with Ombre nails, which I had never heard of-- SEE PIC. This salon has SO MANY polishes from which to choose-- SEE PICS. Quite impressive lot! My finished nails had some flaws-- one nail longer than the others; one nail not cut straight across; & two nails have some rough areas near the sides. However, the flaws are not easily seen from afar, so I'm OK w/ them, especially since my tech appeared to need instruction on how to do them prior to me sitting. We each are new @ something & must learn:) The salon itself is impressive. It has a vibrant interior w/ multiple chair types. It's clean, open, organized, & the four wall TVs are silent. There are various chairs-- leather chairs, velvet chairs, Kings & Queens thrones, & a host of other styles-- SEE PICS. There's a back room that houses massage tables, & there are two clean, modern restrooms. Staff is very friendly. You'll be offered a soda or water while you are being serviced. Prices were slightly higher than what they are at nearby salons. My manicure was $10 & my Ombre acrylic nails were $60. Being new to the area, I have relied on reviews to find new locations and Sweet Nail Spa is one I've landed on. There are a couple of recent negative reviews, but I can honestly say I have not experienced any of it. Their online scheduling with confirmation is soo convenient. Pricing for a full set and pedicure with gel cost me 128, this includes 20% tip. This is fair pricing! The entire staff is friendly and willing to take care of any concerns or wants you have. My parents live across the street from this nail salon and I decided to check it out on a wim. Super glad I did. Vanessa did my SNS manicure and she was amazing. I got my nails done on july 13 and it's august 17 and they aren't cracked or chipped at all. While it's time to get them redone, I am super impressed by the job she did. I am super rough with my nails and these survived two moves across the state and a bunch of manual labor. My new nail salon in WC and I will be giving all my loyalty to Vanessa... Actual score ( 3.5 ) My 52$ upgraded Sweet Signature pedicure went pretty well great massage and callus removal . I chose tangerine scented which was a nice option . They did have several others to choose from as well so that is awesome . Polish job, meh a bit bumpy and uneven for an expensive pedicure price . The nail tech didn't buff or file my nails . That doesn't make any sense to me at all. Disappointed. Acrylic nails - 7 out of 10 on shape a bit uneven and left some acrylic on my fingers after he finished . He also left at the end and asked someone else to finish for him .... Ummm , lame . Price said 50+ online . Apparently short coffin cost 56$ today . Seemed basic to me but okay . Great find here in Wesley Chapel! Everyone is so accommodating! I happen to stumble on this new, CLEAN Spa after grabbing a coffee. The Owners are so sweet and the staff is friendly. I brought in a photo of 2 different styles of designs I liked. They NAILED IT! I've been back many times and brought my daughter in to get a pedicure with me today. They treated her so sweet and make her so completely happy. Mommy and Daughter day success! Also, My husband never gets pedicures so they accommodated him with a special foot massage for his feet and ankles so he can enjoy their brand new awesome pedicure chairs. I visited Sweet Nail Spa for the first time on Sunday and had an absolutely lovely time. Paul did an excellent job on my manicure and dip service. The spa was clean and well-appointed, with tons of variety in colors and services. There was plenty of staff to serve all the customers in a timely manner, and the atmosphere was perfect - great music, lots of TVs with entertainment, and the nail techs were engaging (if you wanted them to be - they'll be quiet if you're not a chatty person/want to listen to your own music). I went there tonight because I was in area. It was a super cute place and they were all nice. My nail tech was awesome but the prices were definitely unexpected. It is my fault for not asking prior but just assumed would be around the same as my regular nail salon. I paid $83 (before tip) for dip nails and gel toe polish change. The gel polish is double what my reg place charges. I usually get pedicure too but thought I'd save on time and cost this round. That wasn't the case. I really loved the girl but I am going to have to stick to old place because the prices are just high. I know with COVID things have changed but seemed just too much compared to other places. New place, clean, nice employees. you can tell they are trying to build business up, I felt the prices were to high for the level of product. I have been here on 3 occasions and won't be back. First time got a basic mani pedi, the shop was empty but it still took wayy longer than usual. Second time went 2 weeks later for a full set, but it did not look clean and sparkling like a new set, it felt rushed and dull. Third time I went was a few months after the first, I was having a set taken off and just basic manicure no polish. They did not get all of the set off and I had to go elsewhere to have them finish getting the acrylic off. Every time I have been here my hands and around nail area is dry and flaking within hours after leaving, hangnails and cuticles still flaking, the lotions and product are cheap. WAY too overpriced, I don't mind paying a $5-10 difference for a really good place, but here you are paying high end prices for not great outcome. The location was convenient those few times, but I won't be back and have no problem driving the extra 15 min to my old place. read more

I came here based on a recommendation but was sadly disappointed. The nail tech was a nice lady but the outcome wasn't what I expected or asked for. The nail lengths are not cut evenly and already, there are gaps from the cuticle to the applied nail bed. My dip nails were not done smoothly and evenly. Got a guy. Did not like the way they did my pedicure. It's all about money and not service.

All of the gel polish bubbled on nails and toes within an hour of leaving. Some bubbles popped, leaking out wet gel from the layer beneath.

First of all, I walked in for a nail removal (Dipping powder and tips) and the guy that did it, did not have a sanitary station, he drilled it all the way down instead of just the top layer, and then used a fake nail to scrape off and pull off the tips I had. That is not the right method, he pulled off and broke my nails, and did a half job on filing. My nails are damaged now and I have to fix them myself. He should've put my nails to soak and take it off carefully. I do not recommend going here. read more

This is a late review but felt it was necessary to share.... I have been getting pedicure for over 10 years in Wesley Chapel (usually at Touch), and never have I had toe nail fungus until I had a pedicure here at Sweet. I cant say what caused it but I don't think its a coincidence that I got fungus to all ten toe nails after getting a pedi done here. I had regular nail polish- not gel- not acrylic. Discovered the problem when the regular nail polish was taken off 4 weeks later- all ten of my toes nails were green, light brown at the tips and corners. Its been ONE YEAR, and after no salon pedicures, no nail polish, and using prescription nail fungus medicine twice a day, I finally have it gone on all but three nails. I dont have proof- but where else could I have gotten this from? My doctor agreed that it was definitely from a nail salon, and I could not have gotten it any other way. I hope no one else has this issue because it has been hell to get rid of! read more

I received a gel manicure and pedicure, $93. One week later my nails are breaking and the corners are chipping. I've been back once for a repair but I will not go back again, lesson learned.
