She encouraged me to let her know if I wanted her to adjust the pressure in any way. She was friendly and engaging without being overly chatty. She seemed to let me take the lead with conversation, which I appreciated. She focused on my "problem" areas and made me feel amazing. I almost drifted off towards the end. The spa itself is what you hope to see when you go to a spa. The whole atmosphere is calm and comfortable. The front desk staff will greet you warmly and get you situated quickly. I have been coming to Bliss every two weeks for the past 4 months to treat scarring from adult hormonal acne. Erin has been my esthetics an from the beginning and she is AMAZING. We do a facial, peel and light treatment every time I'm there and the results have been absolutely fantastic. Erin is never pushy about products and only makes the most purposeful recommendations. Ive came twice for eyelash service, first was a new full set, the lash tech is amazing she's the first lash artist that has given me exactly what I wanted, The technique she uses allows your lashes to look so natural when they start to shed and come out, never lose big clusters that end up looking horrible. The scheduling is very easy, I had to reschedule a few times and really appreciate how they were able to work with me. I went in for a fill and my lashes came out perfect again. Over all I'm very please with how they turn out, how long they last and the salon and lash tech. I also get so many compliments on my " natural looking lashes ". I just returned from my first appointment at Bliss Hair Salon which apparently is a new addition to their spa business. If my experience is any indication of how they do business there, they should stick with facials. I had a scheduled appointment with Shayla who is one of the owners. I waited a half hour with no word from anyone let alone her that she was running late. She didn't have the professionalism or class AS THE OWNER OF THE BUSINESS to meet me and offer an apology. I waited and waited and then just left. Not surprisingly, she didn't call even after she knew I left angry. Needless to say, she is not a person and this is not a place I would recommend patronizing. If she could care less about a new client, my guess is that she could care less about everything else. UPDATE! One day later I was contacted by Miss Vicky, the actual owner of the salon and informed that Shayla was in fact not an owner as told to me by her staff multiple times. Miss Vicky kindly took the time to write me a lengthy condescending email justifying the actions (or lack of) on the part of her employees. She thought it was sad that I would leave a negative review and that I was being unreasonable by not trying to work something out. Let me be clear about this. I was left sitting for over a half hour without being acknowledged. I left upset and let them know I was upset. No one called, texted, or emailed me to offer an apology or the discount Miss Vicky claimed I would have gotten for my inconvenience had I waited a little longer. She is correct in that my review does not speak to the quality of their work because I couldn't get that far. What it does address is not only the arrogance and entitlement they feel that my time wasn't as important as theirs, but also receiving the antagonizing response by the actual owner who chose to blame me. Perhaps this is why they've had only one positive review in over two years. Once again, so many other lovely salons in Wesley Chapel. More than even before, I believe this one should be passed by. read more

Having had a few facials and other treatments from Bliss Facial Spa and Salon, I was excited to find out they had added a hair salon as well. I booked my appointment with Shayla, and what a fantastic job she did. I had a full highlight and cut, and I must say, it looks GREAT! The color looks so natural and she actually listened when I explained what I was looking for with my cut. The best part? I actually left the salon and didn't restyle it again .... no hairdresser poof that had to be tamed. The salon is small and relaxing. I even got a warm towel behind my neck when she washed out my hair (first time i've had that at a salon) and she even gave a little neck massage. Buyer beware. 2 weeks ago booked a holiday gift to my staff after being quoted a price by the staff at Bliss. They called today to say they "misquoted" and would not honor the price they told us (Was quoted 4 people for facials $250 ish). The new price was nearly $500!!!! Whole office soooo disappointed. Extremely poor business ethics. What could have been a great review- Business makes a mistake AND HONORS THEIR WORD, turns into a display of how this business cares more about their cash flow than caring for their clients. Bliss Facial Spa is my favorite place to go and recharge, get pampered, and feel fabulous!! Cece has been doing a beautiful job on my lash extensions for me for almost a year and a half. I'm obviously hooked, because the lash extensions are so gorgeous and honestly give me so much confidence and have me waking up feeling like I barely need to put on makeup. They are a serious head turner and I get compliments on them all the time. I can't even tell they aren't my own lashes as far as feeling goes, and the only specification I have to follow is to avoid getting them wet and not using makeup remover/product on them. The first thing I want to mention is the excellent customer service I was given- I called Bliss Facial Spa in the morning hoping to make an appointment to get my eyebrows waxed that same afternoon and although they were busy, they squeezed me right in without any discouragement from calling a little last minute (oops!) When I arrived the women at the counter were so warm and welcoming. Debanie, my esthetician, assured me that "eyebrows are her thing" and she would give me the shape I've been wanting...Yay! What a GREAT first impression! She very politely asked if I'd like something to drink and what a surprise when I was offered a mimosa instead of boring water or soda! She must have felt my stress, LOL! My esthetician was on time and equally as kind. She explained all the details necessary for me to take better care of my skin and how to proceed. In a world where customer service seems to be non-existent, this place still has it and will be my forever go to place from now on. Yes, I did speak to the owner about my dissatisfaction with the services and she only made things worse by treating me like a 2nd class citizen as well - oh no, I believe 3rd class or worse is in order. Unless you want to walk out of a "spa" with pieces of your skin ripped off from your wax or your face looking like Freddy Krueger's, I suggest you go elsewhere. Erin, you are right. Not just equitable service but good service should be provided to all. These post were created for customers to disclose the good, the bad and the ugly. We shouldn't have to worry about owners underscoring someone's experience. Even if the personnel "disagrees with how they think someone should feel", they should take the time to think about what gave them that lasting impression and what they could do to improve their business. P.S. Bella's Med Spa is right up the street, literally 2 minutes away, and they offer many of the same services with rigorously trained, kind, and down-to-earth staff. I just moved to the Wesley Chapel area. I looked on yelp and found that this place that was right across the street from our community. I made an appointment for a facial the day before. The women on the phone was very helpful and scheduled me in with Keli. I arrived for a morning appointment the next day and was delighted when I walked in. The place is decorated so well and so relaxing. The front desk women Jeni greeted me happily and gave me some paper work to fill out. I arrived 15mins early so I had time to look around at all the products and to look over the services they provide. I informed Jeni that I found them on Yelp and wanted to know if I could use the coupon for checking in for a free eyebrow wax. She happily added the service. Keli greeted me a few mins later. I informed her that I am having issues with my skin now that I am in my 30s. She was very informative. She did suggest that we do the Elite facial but I decided that I wanted to see how I react to this one first. She began my facial and all I can say is Ah-mazing!! It was so relaxing I could feel my skin drinking in all the yummy smell good things she was applying. She always asked questions even when we did the eyebrow wax. Im super sensitive so she did the hard wax. Never had that done before and now I can't imagine doing anything else. No redness or burning. Keli gave me some samples to try and also showed me the line of product she used on me. And which one would work for me in the future. I signed up for the monthly membership. I asked her to see if she could by my girl flowers and she let me Venmo her money and she bought the flowers at fresh market and she gave them to her after her massage and facial... I was amazed I got my girl a haircut and color this week and they even made a spot for her and had a stylist stay late because she had golf practice... Can't give it one star because I really liked my esthetician (Brittany). Tried Bliss for about 8 months when we first moved to the area. I have never been to a "day spa" that charged a monthly membership. I do not really like that concept because maybe I do not want a facial every month. While Bliss was not the best facial I've ever had it certainly was not the worst --- what stank was the owners of this business treating me like a second class citizen. Sorry, I am not going to dress up in a Chanel suit and Jimmy Choo shoes to get a facial. Wearing a pair of Levis and sweatshirt was my attire for a facial or massage. The last time I went into Bliss -- the owners daughter offered a water to the lady sitting next to me and completely ignored me. (Wow -- this lady sitting next to me was in on a Groupon deal and was being treated like royalty -- I was there every month and was treated like I did not exist). Granted, this lady was dressed in executive business suit, but isn't my money just a green as hers even though I was dressed in jeans and a sweatshirt? It was not the first time this had happened and I could not ignore it any longer. Moral of my post -- you never know how much money someone has in their bank account just because of what they are wearing. read more
