I was in an accident July of 2019 and was unaware of the care I would be needing and the advice on dealing with the convoluted insurance world. After talking to several attorneys offices (never an attorney just the person who would intake the call) I called Sweet James. When I called Sweet James there was the "intake" person, however that person took my information and within 15 minutes Ian returned my call. Ian was an actual attorney, on a Saturday no less. He took the time to listen to what happened and he also reviewed my pictures from the accident. After he reviewed my information he called back and explained a lot of different options I could pursue and discussed what it would be his firm would do if I choose to proceed. There was no pressure and no rush. Which was different than the other attorneys offices where I wasn't given the option to speak to an attorney and would send the paperwork for me to sign. Ian also gave me the background on the person who if I decided to proceed would come take my statement and complete my paperwork. His name was David. A retired law enforcement officer who was professional, knowledgeable and a class act. Who also came to our home that same Saturday. David took the time to again explain so many things in a way I could understand and that made sense. Jessica Davis was assigned as my Case Manager. Jessica has gone above and beyond for me. Even when I was frustrated with the process and she was the person that either by phone or email was on the receiving end of my frustrations. Which there were a lot of when it came to trying to save my car from being totaled! Even though Sweet James firm has no control over what the insurance companies decide to do with the vehicle Jessica put in the extra effort and time of communicating with the adjusters and myself advocating for me when I was at a loss. After I obtained Sweet James I learned how convoluted my case was as the driver who got me was driving an "Uber" rental and ended up having not 1 but 3 insurance two of which I knew about the day of the accident. When I found out about the 3rd policy from my adjuster I immediately called the office. 4:55pm on a Friday and left a message for Jessica who was out of the office that day. Within a about a half hour Rana Abuershaid (the attorney assigned to my case) called me back. She let me know who she was and that she wanted to take the time to let me know they were already aware of the 3rd policy. They actually knew before my insurance company. She also took the time to answer a few other crazy questions I had because she didn't want me to worry about things over the weekend. The firm has been so such a blessing to work with even when I made a move to Arizona 2 moths after the accident. Which was a bit of a challenge when moving out of state in the middle of treatment.
