I truly believe this firm has zero working lawyers . In the 15 months they had my son's case never once did I speak to an actual attorney . I only ever dealt with Eva , who is very unpleasant and unprofessional. When my husband settled she told him to do a good review or wouldn't give him his check. She also spoke to him about personal issues of her and her husband. EVA in Phx is a joke ! Our last conversation on 1/22/26 we agreed she was going to reach out to the adjuster to let them know I did not accept the offer and would like to take this in front of a jury. So 3 1/2 weeks go by and today calls my husband thinking he was alone telling him they were dropping my son's case because I was being uncooperative and not agreeing. She started stuttering as soon as I said wait we last agreed you were contacting the adjuster right ?? Crickets ... Isn't that the job of an attorney to contact adjuster/ and take it to trial if client wishes ? Not this firm . They are lazy and want the easiest way to get their cut! She also called my husband back asking him why I was calling admin to speak to her boss and I have that recorded. This lady is a psycho ! I also spoke to the adjuster at progressive who confirmed she had not spoken to sweet James since12/20/25 she had been waiting to hear back then got a dropped letter today . This was the worst experience of my life. They ate beyond disrespectful, trying to make me feel bad because I couldn't make doctor appointments due to my truck being totaled & couldn't get a rental car from my insurance or the faulted parties insurance. They (Attorney and his assistant), lied to me on numerous occasions. If I didn't know better I would think they were protecting the party who hit me and was faulted for the accident. I was involved in a bus collision out here in Phoenix. Immediately, I sought out a lawyer which I found, but there were just so many that didn't know which one to go with. Finally, I settled on Sweet James, they came, to me, the very next day and signed me up, they immediately sent me to a physical therapist, locally, that began assessing me and giving me therapy. They even came and picked me up, to and from all my appointments. Which Shawndra helped me coordinate. My lawyer, that was assigned to me, was Tracy S. And I'll tell you, she was amazing from the beginning till the end. She always, replied to my emails, took my calls, and told me, all the time frames, of what was to happen, where we were at, so I never felt like I was just waiting or felt that I was in the blind. If all the attorneys are like Tracy, wow, I gotta tell you, they have an elite squad. But I was blessed to have Tracy advocating for me. She was so good, that the insurance company wanted no smoke. Tracy got the entire amount to what the insurance company had in their coverage, without any hesitation, the insurance company laid down. She is that good. Thoughtout the entire process, Tracy and Sweet James have been there. They even helped me out way before the settlement. The accident happened in March, and everything was settled in July-Aug, then came lien negotiations, and finally in Jan, the disbursement. At one point, I even asked Tracy on what i was to expect and whatnot, and her estimation, ballpark figure, was spot on. She did one heck of a job, settling my liens and negotiating with my insurance company with the medical bills. And at the end, the figure i expected, was close to spot on. I'm sure some law firms might tell you one thing, and at the end you get something entirely different. Not with Tracy, she fought, she negotiated with all the liens in order to stay close to the amount that I was expected to get. And God bless her for that. Very accurate, on the ball, at all times. Sweet james took 40%, 10000 even the rest was medical bills and i got just about 5000. This place is an absolute scam!!!!! They will draw you case out past the 100 days to charge you 40%. I can honestly say that if you are thinking about using sweet James as your accident injury attorney, don't. Run away as fast as you can. They are not what they claim to be. They pass you around to different people without your knowledge, making it difficult to talk to someone about your case. They do not help with any property damage settlement issues. As far as the injury settlement, the only people who get anything in their pockets are the Dr's and sweet James attorneys. Plus it takes months to receive a settlement. I signed off on my settlement in December 2021 and just recently received my settlement after numerous phone calls. I wish I had listened to my gut before I hired sweet James. If I knew then what I know now, I never would have hired sweet James. I know for sure that I will never hire them again and I will discourage anyone that I know from using them. read more

Dean fox was my attorney. He accused me of lying to him because I didn't know who my attorney was. So I called the main number and the reception gave me the name of my attorney who was not dean fox. So I emailed this other attorney and he emailed me back and told dean was my attorney. Dean dropped me as a client based on a phone I phone call I had with him. He told me he would not charge me. Would like to put zero rating. First ambulance chaser I was sent to was a chiropractor that gave me a treatment plan before an exam 2nd doctor was great but on a Friday. I was told to not go to any more dr. Appt. On that Monday, they dropped me and suggested I do it myself because they would not win /would not make any money. Left me high and dry without any recourse. Uh, did me a favor by "no recovery, no charge" what they don't say is you are responsible for medical bills that had a line including a mri. Never did speak to an attorney. Be careful and check out beforehand the providers they refer. They are not transparent. Not upfront about pixies and procedures. A nightmare. read more
