Food: they primarily focus on small pastries offering dulce de leche and cream filled goods. They also had a dulce de leche Napoleon style treat, which was out of this world, albeit a little messy. Aesthetic : there is very few bakeries that I have gone to that have had so much stock in their display casings, and everything looks freshly baked. A few small seats and a lot of room.

Food at Doctor's Sub-Acute Care in Patterson, NJ is not appealing & my dad needs to grain his strength to get out of there. Delivery service has to be within walking distance. The menu through GRUBHUB's app does not allow for you to add jelly, hot sauce, etc. and there are no drinks on the menu. So, I had to call it & see if it can be added to my order. The charge was $1.50 for the hot tea & they don't place charges under $5. GRUBHUB small order fee is BS, total order $13.07 for fish, grits, toast and hot tea but you I understand there's a COST for CONVENIENCE. I reached out to the GRUBHUB driver to again to thank for the service & to remind him/her to make sure everything was in the order. I even had last minute request from my dad. He wanted cheese on the side & it was in the middle of his grits but he was able to remove it. Everything arrived in the order, it was hot, and according to my dad, the meal was great! He was satisfied and that's all that matters. I would call this a success!

Small empanada shop located on the Belleville Pike that I pass every day and finally gave it a try…read more I got three empanadas, one ham and cheese, one buffalo chicken, and one guava and cheese. I ranked them in that order as well. The Ham and cheese was pretty good, the Buffalo chicken was really good, and the guava and cheese was outstanding. I would love if they sold a dipping sauce too but I didn't see any. I could have missed it if there were to be honest. The service was excellent and the price was right too......under $10 for three. The parking is a little dicey, it's street only and you have to find it on the side streets. I'm glad I stopped and I will stop again on the way home to try other combinations.

My partner and I were looking for a local breakfast spot when we came across EmpaBake. Right away,…read morewe noticed the display filled with pastries and a tempting selection of savory baked empanadas. We ordered a caramel latte and a cappuccino to start, along with a ropa vieja (shredded beef) and sweet plantain empanada that we couldn't resist. Since they're baked, the empanada crust is light and crisp, with a generous, flavorful filling. It was a little on the dry side but still good. For our main dishes, I had the two egg breakfast with bacon and home fries, while my partner went for the Tres Golpes. Both plates were delicious and served in large portions. We were also surprised with a complimentary warm sesame bun, which was a lovely touch. To finish, I ordered a cortado bold, smooth, and just the right kick. The staff is friendly and always ready with the warm greeting especially for their regulars. The decore is simple but I did enjoy the large window painting. We'll definitely be back to try more empanadas and maybe a pastry (or two). Street parking only, but finding a spot wasn't difficult.
