This hidden gem is so good. It's about an hour for me to get there but it's well worth it. Everything is fresh, delicious and amazing. Diane is truly the sweetheart of the place and makes it worth the drive. Today I got blueberry muffins to share with friends and we'll be back for a breakfast or a lunch. There's also fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers and other local wares.

Sweet Diane's in Oregon House is a gem. I had the best carrot cake ever--moist, perfectly spiced, and baked to absolute perfection. Along with all the fresh baked goods and local treats, it's the perfect stop before heading out to the nearby lakes. Whether you're off to Lake of the Springs, Collins Lake, Lake Francis, or Bullards Bar Reservoir, Sweet Diane's is where you want to pick up picnic essentials for a day by the water.

Cute little spot for coffee, pastries, fresh fruit and vegetables and food. We got amazing local honey and some good gluten free desserts. The truffle was our favorite. Small but nice local food.

Clover cafe, just one of the only spots in Oregon House. We've come here 3 times now. We came back…read moreout here because of the beautiful Sierra views of the woods. But each time I've tried to give this place a chance they have failed. Waste of so much money. The only reason it gets two stars is the young women who are working the front of the house. They are so kind and sweet, however not knowledgeable of the wine. It seems ironic to have local vineyards and cannot taste some of the wines by the glass? Also, the "local" wineries are private or you have to have an appointment!? Phone numbers do not work. And the only place to "taste" the wine is Clover Cafe? Very odd and not normal coming from the Bay Area/Napa. "Renaissance wine" what's up with your wine? And that vineyard. Weird vibes and the lady at the gate when protecting this vineyard told me to go to Clover Cafe and made us seem like we couldn't afford the wine at their "private" winery! Weird. The restaurant when you pull up is on the corner of the main road and has lots of parking, the inside of the restaurant and outside are pretty nice! Lots of space. However; the food takes 20-30 minutes to come out and when it comes out the presentation is not appealing, and the food from the menu described is not what is served. The BBQ pork sandwich was soggy. And the fries over cooked. The breaded chicken sandwich was also sloppy and is bigger than the bun. The tomales Bay blue cheese spinach and walnut salad is only spinach with crumbles of blue cheese and walnuts and dressing sloped all over the place. It had minimal flavor. The barbecue sauce on the barbecue slider was also had a strong vinegar taste. The wine was not good, it was very pricy as well. The wine tastes like old wood and had other little pieces of debris flowing in it because the glasses were dirty and had spots all over them and that has happened to me each time. I have ordered wine here twice. This is based on giving them a second chance. Being that this is supposed to be "an upscale restaurant" for the town you would think that they would keep things clean and make sure they are everything. Also, the town has a weird vibe in Oregon Town. Like I said the young women working are the only thing keeping the customer service and place alive. I definitely will not be coming back to Oregon House being this second/3rd experience was the worst. Sadly this seems like they pick and choose the chosen and everything is private property. Will not be back in Oregon house.

We sat outside on the patio, which was lovely, and the staff were friendly and attentive without hovering. I ordered the Jam Session sandwich and I'm still thinking about it. It had roasted turkey with cream cheese and this incredible cranberry bacon jam that completely made the sandwich. The flavors worked so well together and everything tasted fresh and made to order. The fries on the side were hot, crispy, and really good too. Honestly, this place felt like something that could have been dropped right into Palo Alto or Santa Clara, CA. The look and overall vibe reminded me of a Silicon Valley café, but the prices were much more reasonable than what you'd expect for that kind of setting. Definitely a great spot in Oroville and I would absolutely go back (especially for that sandwich).

The inside of the restaurant looked like a great spot to enjoy a meal. The drink I had was outstanding. Super fresh and just the right amount of alcohol.
