I came in hoping to grab a few treats for my son's 3rd birthday... I left wondering if I should've just canceled the party and moved into the bakery. We have a big family with six boys, so desserts don't just disappear... they vanish like socks in the dryer. Every single thing we brought home was demolished. The cupcakes were ridiculously good, the pastries were fresh, and the flavors were the kind that make everyone suddenly "just want one more bite." The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. They helped make my little guy's birthday even more special, and seeing all the kids with frosting-covered smiles was worth every penny. If you've got a birthday, a celebration, or just survived another week of parenting, do yourself a favor and stop by Got Cakes Bakery. Your diet may file a complaint, but your taste buds will throw a standing ovation. We'll definitely be back... probably sooner than my waistband would prefer! read more

From the moment I walked through the door, I was welcomed with such kindness that I immediately knew I chose the right place for brunch. The entire family was incredibly friendly and made my visit so enjoyable. I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and avocado, and it was absolutely delicious, flavorful, and perfectly made. For dessert, I had the Pig's Pickin cupcake, and it was perfection! It was the perfect sweet treat to finish an amazing meal. Great food is one thing, but exceptional customer service makes all the difference, and this bakery has both. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in town. read more

Absolutely delicious, Everytime. Definitely grab a cheesecake bite, I recommend the Oreo or strawberry, so good and delicious. They have different sizes & a variety of flavors that are baked fresh daily. It's more of a Bakery/Cafe. If you want something more savory grab a jalapeño &cheese bagel, sandwich and/or Panini. They also offer coffee and dirty sodas , which are also good. Everything is full of flavor and good size portions. The ambiance is also a plus. As soon as you walk in your greeted by friendly staff who treat you like family. You can also order customer cakes and cheesecakes for special events . Make sure to order with enough time place and you won't be disappointed. Did I mention he offers private baking /cake decorating classes too. Ask for me info. I could on and on about how good this place is but just go and find out for yourself. Thank me later :) read more

This place is so good I been craving their foods everyday. The paninis are so good. I have tried the hot Cheetos crunch and the Cali Mex and both did not disappoint. They sell cupcakes, cheesecakes, scones, puffed pastries, cinnamon rolls, and bagels everything looks so yummy! Love the choices of different flavors and choices of cupcakes. The owner is so nice. This place should be more busy than it really is and maybe it's because people don't know how good this place is. Store is clean and nicely decorated. If you haven't tried their foods give it a shot, you won't be disappointed!!! Recommend checking them out in person for the full awesome experience, but they are also available on DoorDash! read more

My friend n I wanted to try this place as there were many positive reviews. We ordered the six pack cupcakes and a crinkle cookie. We had high hopes but the items cupcake and cookies were not moist (our preference). The sweetness was on point-not to sweet just right. I was so bummed that I missed the Grand Opening! I decided to come in today and checkout this place because I just love dessert. This bakery has just about everything you can imagine. Something sweet and something savory...just so many decisions that look mouthwatering delicious!! I had to ask customers around me for recommendations. The owner/ baker, Cody is really passionate about his business and it shows in his professional and personal demeanor. It's so nice to see so many people supporting this business. I took my order to go and shared with my mom and brother. Mom loved her strawberry lemonade Agua Fresca. I took a couple of cheesecakes and cupcakes to share with my mom and brother who love dessert as much as I do. Everything exceeded our expectations and anticipating to return real soon for our upcoming special events and just because. read more

The moment we walked into this new bakery the Lucious smell engulfed my senses! Then we were greeted by friendly staff! I came in for the bagels, but left with 5 gourmet cupcakes! My reason for the 4 star rating versed a 5 star rating is the prices! I paid almost $50 for a dozen bagels, 5 gourmet cupcakes, and a small strawberry cream sandwich type dessert! I haven't sampled the cupcakes yet, however, my granddaughter sampled hers and gave me a double thumbs up! And they are so visually appealing! I did just have a bagel! It was a pepperoni bagel (that I didn't order) and it tasted like I had just visited a New York restaurant! I will definitely go back, but I'm going to utilize my self control and only buy bagels!! read more

Got Cakes? We do now! Yesterday was my first visit to this new bakery and it definitely won't be the last. A friend and I went for lunch just to try their sandwiches, but once we were inside we couldn't help ourselves. Two sandwiches, a freshly brewed iced coffee, German Chocolate cupcake, a freshly baked pizza roll and jalapeno cheddar bagel later...we were more than satisfied! The whole experience was great. The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful. There's a bit of a hipster vibe which is always fun. What a great addition to Downtown Marysville. Go treat yourselves, you will not be disappointed. read more

Cup cakes and food is okay- some overcomplicated items, some hard to eat, flavor is okay. Really not a fan of the AI created menu as it is too large, confusing and shows inaccurate photos of the food items. Service and people are amazing. Really hoping they get better! read more

WOW! The Jalapeño popper melt was so good that I'll be coming back for more routinely. Can't wait to try the rest of menu as well, everything sounds so good! read more

First time customer this morning. I really appreciated the customer service. Even let us know they'd be right with us a few times. all while they were still running to get everything rolling. We were a few minutes early to be fair. Cool to watch his father helping and another family member helping out too. Both our coffees were very good. I had the brown sugar iced coffee. Definitely will order it again flavor was on point. My wife had the strawberry matcha she liked her beverage also. We both got bagels with cream cheese. Both the pepperoni and the jalapeño cheddar were good. Very nice texture on the bagels with perfectly toasted edges. Cream cheese was the perfect amount to enjoy the flavor and not have it drip out of the edges. Ordered a tres leches cupcake to go and two small cheesecakes. Again both the cheesecake and tres leches cake were excellent. The texture of the tres leches is something that I will crave until my next stop in. Blessed to have this new bakery/cafe in our town. The decor is very cool and I really like the floors. Nice job. read more

Cakes by Cody never disappoints! The bagels are hands down the best I've ever had--I've tried bagels from all over, and nothing compares. The second you walk in everyone greets you! I'm a very picky coffee drinker and the cinnamon sugar iced coffee was ON POINT (sugar free options available)! Avocado toast is the perfect size and I love that it's on sourdough bread! We also tried the carrot cake and it was amazing! Such a cool vibe inside. All over great experience. Will come back! read more

The customer service is top notch. It's cute and colorful inside. Everyone is so friendly and greeted us immediately. There is a benches but I didn't notice any tables inside. We got a cheesecake, cupcakes, and a pastry. The cheesecake and pastry were yummy. The cupcakes had whipped cream frosting so the frosting was light and not too sweet. Our only critique is the cupcake was quite dense, which some may prefer, but we like a lighter/softer cupcake. Overall good experience. We'll plan to go back and try the drinks and paninis. read more

I had called to inquire about a special order and said that I needed it done the next day. I was told by the owner Cody that unfortunately they were completely booked and wouldn't be able to make my request happen I believe judging by my disappointment, and I'm not gonna lie. I was pretty much pleading haha he jumped right back in and said you know what will you take a substitution ? which was very similar and he offered to do that I thought it was a beautiful example of improvising and going the extra mile to meet the needs of his customers really showed his true character I picked it up the next day and it was one of the most beautiful cheesecakes I think I've ever seen in my life.!!! 10 out of 10 the most delicious dessert I've ever had ! Compliments from all who tasted it also I had a delicious strawberry lemonade, so good !!! I will definitely be back.
