One star even seems like too much…read more Update - DJ David attacked "me" for my political views due to a flag at my venue, and told me I can't act like he ruined my day when "we both know that's not the case". I have been nothing but calm and professional a sincere apology would have been huge but instead have been blocked on all forms of social media, and phone number. As someone who is also in the service industry I am the first to be understanding but this is inexcusable. Sharing my experience so another bride doesn't have to go through the same thing. Colton and I hired DA Productions DJ & Lighting for our wedding. Following our event I reached out to David (See Message Below) to express my thoughts and have been completely ignored. As Brides we spend so many hours thinking, and planning and I would hate to have someone else have a similar experience. I wasn't expecting money back, or to change the outcome but a sincere apology would have gone a long way. "Hi David, I wanted to reach out following our event last night. We are extremely disappointed with our investment and unhappy with the service you provided. It began with you not being able to be located 5 minutes prior to our ceremony to mic up our officiant, and then entering the home numerous times to get things without asking. Had this been a traditional venue those things would have not been okay you would've gone to the commons areas along with others. After spending hours perfectly curating the music it was truly disappointing, when you played the wrong song for my dad and I to walk down the aisle. To end the night you were found sleeping in your car on multiple occasions, and then taking nearly 2 hours to clean up. I do not feel like as the bride, and paying customer I should have to be clear that just because it is a family friends home that venue rules still apply. Your behavior and lack of professionalism would have not been acceptable at any venue."

We got married at my parents' home in the Seattle area, but we were living in Madison, WI and Chicago, IL respectively over the course of our eight months or so working with Megan. Nonetheless, Megan found time to work with us, making three-way conferences calls at all kinds of times of day to help make sure our wedding was exactly like we wanted it to be. On the day of, Megan and her staff did an incredible job making sure that we had everything we needed, from wine with dinner to pens for signing our wedding license. They even whipped up some salad dressing in my parents' kitchen when the caterer forgot to send it. With a wedding at private residence there were all kinds of small snafus that could have been bothersome, but not a single guest noticed a single hiccup. In fact, they all commented on how seamless the day was, and we attribute that to Megan and her staff. They even found time to clean up afterward, making the next day a breeze! We cannot recommend Megan highly enough! You will not regret having her be a part of your wedding.

I sincerely wanted to explore every inch of the property and take a million pictures, but unfortunately, I was Non weightbearing on crutches and really couldn't! I appreciated that the bathrooms had a good grab bar and felt safe. If I get lucky enough to attend another event there, I would not sit by the speaker in the dining area because it was extremely loud and it was hard to hear the people at my table, will leave that table for the younger generation! lol. The food from the Cabbage Patch in Snohomish was outstanding. The beef tenderloin and the spinach salad with homemade raspberry vinegarette was delicious.
