I placed a rental with GSR on October 7th and paid a deposit of $571.49. On October 25th when they should have deducted the balance of the rental they instead deducted the full amount of $1142.97 from my bank account. When I called to ask about the error I was told it must be a computer error. They say the credited me but I won't see that for 3 to 5 business days. My hubby and I are not made of money. We run a nonprofit and were throwing a party on the 26th (hence the tent rental) to support Ronald McDonald House. I am also recovering from extensive knee surgery and had a cleaning lady scheduled to come on the 25th. Due to their mistake I had to cancel the cleaning lady and a hospital bill that I had paid bounced. I understand that mistakes happen but the feel that I got from the company was they did not care. On top of this the guys that set up the tent did not anchor the walls down so they flapped everytime the wind blew. My husband ended up fixing this. All in all our experience was poor and my finances are all messed up until I get my money back. We will not be using them again. Thank you read more

They ought to call this place :"Gunner's Got It" Going into this small rental depot just outside of Duvall brings back serious memories for a guy who used to work in sound, stage, and studio. Massive amounts of potential kinetic energy lying around just waiting for you to come and get it. Think large industrial space crowded full of pretty much everything you could need in the realm of machinery and hardware including tables, chairs, and other 'event' requirements. And yes, their staff may not get the Miss Manners award but then again remember that they are sizing you up to decide whether to trust you with a machine that in some cases literally could tear you limb from limb, so either grow up or stay away from the power tools kids. =;^) read more

Rented a trencher a week or so ago...overall it was a good experience getting it, however the person who 'checked me out' on it had no idea how it worked. Not a big deal to figure out on my own...but the controls were very sloppy. Machine wouldn't go in a straight line, had trouble driving and moving around. Upon return I was asked how it was and I said, "that machine is very tired." And was told, "oh yeah, it is." Not sure why you wouldn't remedy mechanical issues instead of just saying 'it's good enough.' read more

Last minute I needed to rent some tables and a tent for a bridal shower and I found GSR to be the closest and cheapest in the area. I love that they have the same price for 1-day rentals but you get them for 3-days. The staff was super friendly and the equipment was in pretty good condition. I have to say that compared to other rental places, GSR cares about their customers and that they are more affordable. I totally would recommend them and I will most definitely be renting from them again. read more

I rented a hydraulic log splitter and Gunner was very helpful getting me loaded up and even connected the trailer for me. They have a great selection of small tools and equipment and their rates were definitely reasonable. Now that I know they rent out little track loaders, I plan to never use a wheelbarrow again. read more

For a rural rental service, their customer service could stand to improve. When I call to check availability of rentals as well as cost or even alternative locations if they do not have rentals . . . they've been short ot the point of being rude each time I call. One would be better served to find a rental store that is happy to have your business read more

The owner was VERY rude yelled at me. Even his employees seemed to shrink from his yelling at a costumer. I will never recommend this place or use it again. I will pay more to rent from someone who is not rude. read more

I called the main # on their web page at 1:45 PM on a Thursday. No one answers and I get a message about thier new location, with their new phone #. I called the "new number" and no one answers and I get the same message. There's no other message. It doesn't say "leave your # and we'll call you back," it doesn't say "please call back in a minute, as we're helping other customers, they might as well be in France for all the info you get. I left a message saying if they expect to rent equipment they need to answer their phone, so people can ask if they have a particular item in stock, that's all I said: no foul language, nothing else. A few minutes later I called their 1-800 # and someone answers, they have what I'm after and I reserve it for that afternoon. A few minutes after that someone calls ME and asks if I was the guy reserving the floor sander and who left the message about not answering their phone. Yes, I say. Then "Gunner" -- who claims to be the owner -- says he doesn't appreciate my "nasty" message and he has no floor sander, then hangs up. What a complete goofball. I assumed it was a disgruntled employee about to be fired, but no, apparently that's the owner. I can only imagine what Gunner might say if anything actually went wrong -- as does happen with rental equipment -- if this is how you treat a new customer.
