The menu is easy to order from and highly traditional. It's simple and delicious. The packaging of the boba is cute too . The film over the plastic boba cup has cherries on top . It's too cute. Hands down the BEST boba tea in Salem! We happily stumbled across this tea shop and wish we would have sooner as we would have not only had boba tea here but lunch as well. They carry a great menu of sandwiches at very reasonable prices- especially being in a touristy area. I'd definitely recommend coming here for a cafe lunch instead of the more popular spots on Essex Street. We decided upon a lychee fruit tea with lychee jelly and a brown sugar milk tea (less sweet) with boba (regular size $5.75 each). Both drinks were absolutely spot on! We experienced the friendliest of service too. Parking was easy as well. We were able to park on Derby Street via a coin meter, but the South Harbor parking garage is steps away, too. They serve more than just Bubble Tea. They serve boba drinks, milk teas, smoothies/slushies, cookies, macarons, and more. So we came here on a whim. My sister, brother in law and friend really liked their drinks. I ordered the Taro. To be honest, I like mine too but it did not taste like Taro. We liked the chocolate chip cookies. I like how the macarons too. Service: the people were friendly (super nice). I accidentally left my favorite tumbler in their store and they held it for me until I was able to pick it up. Little confusing to order, but chalk that up to inexperience. Sorry for whomever's drink we took!!!! Delayed service and a super warm sitting area kicked the experience a bit, but one cannot possibly argue to quality and mettle of their product. My kids and I found this place as we were touring the Salem Witch Trials landmarks. Staff very nice and the boba milk teas were delicious. We ended up going each time we went out to explore. We popped in and ordered a pineapple smoothie and waffle cone with coffee ice cream and whipped cream, and I wondered why it took longer than I had expected to get the ice cream until it came out. It was enormous, and the waffle was still warm. We expected a typical waffle cone, but this was a freshly-made waffle folded into a cup and topped with ice cream. They were out of whipped cream, and my daughter was disappointed until she took her first bite, and then she no longer cared about the missing whipped cream. My sister and I grabbed two quick drinks from their typical menu. I opted for the mango green tea with less ice and lychee jelly since I was planning on having it the next day. My sister got their honey dew milk tea with boba. They did not pass my boba test as it was way too soft and squishy for my liking. I could also tell they used powder for the honey dew base from the chalky consistency. Since I had a simple drink, it wasn't anything special. Great to find a Boba shop whilst touring the Salem area! Went with the mango smoothie with boba. Large cost $7.22 without tip. The smoothie tasted a bit artificial, no pieces of fruit to be found. This wonderful place is located in downtown Salem mass. When you walk in there is a board full of different items they offer. From smoothies, waffles and cookies. The staff is very friendly and quick when ordering your drink. The price is right for a large I got a Thai smoothie which was good. Let's start with the good! The tea and slushies were very good! The lady making the slushies was apologetic for the mishap. The not so good-We placed our order for 2 teas and 2 slushies-i added a 15% tip (NEVER AGAIN)-one tea and slushie arrived quickly. Two different sets of customers arrived after us and placed their order. In the mean time, after all customers were taken care of, I asked for a glass of water for our dog-they charge $.50 which I find RIDICULOUS, especially after paying $28 including a tip. Then our other slushie plus one for a customer after us came out, leaving us still waiting for a milk tea. The girl taking the order is TERRIBLE, she lacks any social or customer service skills. Moral of the story-don't add the tip until they do the job! That cashier didn't deserve anything extra! Charging a paying customer for a cup of water if INSANE, leave that fee for someone not paying. read more

Visited Salem this past weekend and went to Sweet Boba 3 times!!! So good, and reasonably priced. I really loved that you can control the sugar level of your drink. That way you're not getting something too sweet or vice-versa. Highly recommend! read more

It came out pretty fast and you can see them make them behind the counter. Although the bubble waffle was good, I think it's a bit more of a novelty experience. Its easy to share with a friend because the waffle tears into the bubbles so easily and you can dip it into the ice cream. The contrast between the warm and cold is quite pleasant. read more

Very excited to have a dedicated Boba Tea shop come to Salem. They have a clean simple setup with a few types of drinks and limited baked goods. I got the Taro Milk tea with Boba. It's awesome you can customize the sweetness and ice amounts so that it's not overwhelmingly sweet. The taro milk tea had a good sweet/earthy flavor and the Boba was a good texture. The woman who made our beverages was so kind and helpful with describing the teas. We'll definitely be back to try more teas and their waffles! read more

I've found my new boba place! I'm not sure when they opened but I was waiting outside at Back Alley Bacon last night and saw the sign and, of course, had to go in. Very friendly staff. I loved the paintings of boba and other treats. They had a huge selection of macarons (which I will for sure try next time I'm not taking a boiled dinner home to eat). The fruit and milk tea selection is nice. I noticed there's a board behind the counter with more flavors than what's hanging directly above. I ordered an oolong milk tea. Really nice flavor. And - no lie, the boba really tasted like brownies to me. I don't know if they were meant to taste like chocolate or I was just crazy but they were so good.
