Nomsmag Ice cream festival has just started. I always enjoy each vendor's limited items. This time, I visited Sweet 7 and offers WOrld cup themed dessert! What I got: Go Canada! FIFA World Cup Sundae Vancouver's FIFA World Cup 2026 tribute. Strawberry sauce and vanilla soft serve in red and white, decorated with maple leaf cookies, soccer-themed candy, coconut jelly, and a Canadian flag pick. Amazing presentation. I liked maple leaf cookie and Canada flag on the top. Strawberry sauce features Canada 's signature red color and soft serve was white color. Coconut Jelly and soft serve paired so well. Soft serve itself was nicely sweet. I found the soft serve melted a bit too quickly. Other than that, , It was a fantastic item! Highly recommend this item to cheer on Canada! read more

I came here on a whim and am so glad I did. I needed something refreshing from all the walking we were doing while on vacation from Hawaii. In Hawaii, we have a lot of tea drinks that have boba and are mostly watery. I decided on a favorite, the coconut mango sago. You're instructed to shake it beforehand. Came here on a Saturday evening after eating dinner Nextdoor and got 3 different mango drinks. Their original pomelo sago, their cheese foam, and their green tea. For the portion size, their prices are quite good in comparison to some of the other bbt places in the area. Taste wise, I enjoyed mine, although I'd say the slush was a bit watery. It's hard to compete with Macu just a few blocks down the street, but if you're craving mango off-season, this isn't a bad place to stop by. read more

Honestly a really good alternative to heytea and macu tea for their mango drink! I remember there being a lot of hype around the store when it first opened and they're around the same price and the massive drink too! Stopped by for an evening sweet treat and ordered the Signature Mango Pomelo Sago (70% sweet, all slush). It wasn't busy, and my drink came out quickly, but honestly--it was super disappointing. I've tried tons of mango slush drinks from other Asian spots like HeyTea and MacuTea, and they do it way better. This one wasn't tasty at all. The mango flavor was barely there, the sago was overwhelming, and the overall texture just didn't hit. Maybe it was a quality control issue, but honestly, save yourself the visit. Sweet 7 has a great selection of bubble tea, but my go to order is actually their ice cream. Their signature mango pomelo sago sundae is so good and you can choose coconut soft serve! The staff here are very efficient, so you never have to wait too long even though there are usually long lines. There's a surprisingly spacious seating area inside to enjoy your desserts in as well. read more

Yum so addicting. Wish we had one in Orange County California so I can go get one of these sweet refreshments whenever I want. The mango and coconut milk and jasmine jelly...creamy & delightful to the senses. Service is quick & the workers are always nice. The music is annoying at times but I try to tune it out when I'm hanging at the shop. Great spot for mango lovers! I walked by this new mango-focused dessert spot on Robson this past weekend and was happy to see that they had just soft opened. They were offering 15% all orders for soft opening weekend, so of course I couldn't resist and got myself a drink! The space itself is decently large. It doesn't look big from the outside but it's very deep, with several small tables for customers to sit and enjoy their drinks. Their menu is pretty straightforward and is split into several sections: mango pomelo sago, mango-based drinks, milk tea, fruit tea, latte, slush, and soft serve. Some drinks can be made hot as well, if you're looking for something to warm you up on a cold winter day. There are thumb up signs next to their recommended drinks to make deciding easier. Since it was my first time here, I got their signature mango pomelo sago drink ($6.75 for a large) with 70% sugar and no ice, as it was freezing outside and I didn't want my drink any colder than it needed to be. It came out in a couple minutes and was full of mango-y goodness. My friend and I shared the drink and killed it in minutes. Highly recommend for mango lovers out there like myself! They specialize in all things mango. Prices are super reasonable - $6-7 for fresh fruit bbt. Many bbt places charge the same amount for powdered flavorings! We got the mango pomelo sago and the mango milkshake. I love that they have fresh mango chunks in their drinks. For the mango pomelo sago, the only bad thing I have to say is that it is not pomelo but grapefruit - it even says grapefruit in their stickers. It is misleading. I did not taste the grapefruit at all. The mango flavor was really good. For the mango milk shake, it has much less mango flavor but very milky which my husband really liked. We stopped by last Thursday afternoon for our first sweet drink/boba of the day. One of my friends rave about their mango drinks here and it seemed like a go-to spot for him every time he's in Vancouver. I got the MANGO POMELO WITH JASMINE JELLY (their signature is the mango pomelo sago, but I really wanted to try their seasonal jasmine jelly) for CA$7.75. The drink was very large and I wasn't able to finish all of it because it was too much liquid. The drink was creamy and generously filled with mango chunks and jasmine jelly. There was some pomelo pulp that was citrusy and added a light bitter flavor that went well with the juicy and sweet mango. There's no sugar level adjustment here (I think the default is 75%) but it was perfectly "not too sweet". Light and enjoyable for a breezy PNW summer day. I can say it definitely did not disappoint! Got their the Signature Mango Pomelo Sago and it was so good that we had to come back on our last day! It tastes like a mango dessert in a cup. Their coconut mango pomelo sago drink can possibly be a meal replacement (for me) because there are so many layers of chewy goodness in that drink and was quite filling. We asked for 30% less sugar in our drinks and I feel like it could still be a tad less sweeter. Service was quick because we went on a weekday after lunch and the street was not busy. i got a sudden craving for a tall drink, so we swung by sweet 7 and slipped in 40 minutes before closing on a monday. we beat the clock before my no eating (or drinking, except water) rule kicks in after 8:00 pm. surprisingly, the joint was buzzing. i was keen to try their 1 litre drinks and found out they only offer two options: the fruit tea with apple and orange slices, crushed grapes, and jelly or the classic milk tea. i opted for the fruit tea, custom made at 30% sweetness. for my spouse, i went with the signature mango, pomelo, and sago at 30% sweetness and slush. they ran out of green tea but switched it up with oolong - crisis averted, and my craving was quenched. read more

For the Mango Pomelo Sago Sundae, they gave us little bits of sago and pomelo (not as much as their picture) with more pink boba instead. They should have indicated the pink boba on the sign with the picture because customers might not know what it was. It was more like Mango Pink Boba Sundae. They did not give us taro paste as the topping with the Roasted Oolong Latte; they gave us little cubes and bits of chewy taro instead. They looked gross and you could not taste them because they were tiny. We were surprised that they deceived customers this way. P.S. We asked them about the pudding as the topping and the server told us that the pudding was tasteless. Also, the iced latte came in a hot cup with ice in it rather than the plastic cup for cold drinks. read more

This was a special ish summer drink, so maybe that's why it's a bit more expensive. If you choose other drinks from their menu, it'll probably be a bit less expensive. Don't quote me on it though. We pick up as they don't deliver. Their fried chicken is Fritou and they originate from Quebec in the late 90's. Duffin's is the only place that served Fritou fried chicken and they are really good. I always order the 3 pieces (1 wing, 1 drum & 1 thigh with fries or rice) for $9.39. You can ask for a mix of spicy or original but think the spicy is better and not too hot. I usually can't finish and take the rest home. Open 24 hours and considered the best deal in town for the portion of food you get. The decor is not fancy more like a hole-in-the-wall but that is what I love about it! They are here to impress you with the food and not the decor. The colourful orange and green bench seatings were originally from their shop on Main and 33rd so I love seeing them as it's reminded me of their good old days when you see motorcycles mixed with Mercedes cars in their parking lot.

Our server suggested that, because it was happy hour, a pitcher would be cheaper and save us money. I specifically asked how many ounces the pitcher was and was told 32 oz, which sounded reasonable since we planned to get 15 oz beers. When the pitcher arrived, it was clearly 64 oz. The server apologized for the mistake, and I let it go, thinking we didn't have to drink it all. However, when the bill arrived, the price didn't match the quote. We were charged $25, not the $20 we were originally told when the 64-oz pitcher showed up, with the explanation that the regular price was $35 and that we had "saved" money. In the end, we were served twice the beer we wanted and paid twice what we intended, based on information that kept changing. Whether this was incompetence or intentional, it left me feeling frustrated and uncomfortable. The food and atmosphere really were great -- but the experience was overshadowed by feeling manipulated. Enjoy the food and beer, but pay close attention to what the wait staff tells you and what ends up on the bill.

Unfortunately, the lobster roll was a letdown. It wasn't very warm, the lobster itself didn't have much flavor, tasted off and the whole sandwich was just kind of dry. Thank goodness I also ordered the prawn cocktail because it saved the meal. It wasn't anything fancy, but the prawns were a good size and gave me something I actually halfway enjoyed. Overall, I didn't have the experience I was looking forward to.
