Honestly, I think this place is overhyped. Yes it's been around for so long so I am sure it had its perks, but I was quite disappointed. It wasn't bad, but it definitely didn't have that fresh mango taste I was expecting from a whole mango. It had a smoothie texture and was way too thick for what it was. Loaded with ingredients but didn't really give.. a whole mango. Service was decently fast for how busy it was. However, the workers weren't the friendliest. I think service is one of the key players even if the food is only decent. read more

We were four, so we got 4 Mango Lover(s). But they have a special where you buy 3, get 1 free! Great deal! We also bought a bag of roasted chestnuts. They were small, but sweet. The Mango Lovers were really good and refreshing. It had coconut milk, mangoes, pomelo and tapioca. It's perfect! It's in the food court, so you order off a large tablet ---very easy. The order came out reasonably quick. There's a lot of tables in the food court. Atmosphere is very lively. read more

A whole mango is located inside the Yaohan mall food court. I got the Mango Lover which has mango, pomelo, and sago. Every mango drink is made with one whole mango. I was surprised at how good the drink was considering it's not mango season. The drink was super satisfying and not too sweet. It is pretty pricey though. They take debit or cash. I don't think sitting in a food court can ever be rated highly. This specific location has very cramped tables and it was difficult getting in and out of our table. So for this reason, I rate the ambiance/atmosphere 1 star, but the drink itself and value is 4 stars. read more

Checked out A Whole Mango after a foodie run at Yaohan Centre. It's located right near the entrance, and the line was short -- we got our drinks quickly. They specialize in mango-based drinks, with trays of freshly chopped mangoes ready to go. Their signature drink is the Mango Lover, so of course we had to try it! The mango lover is ok. Def not a whole mango in each drink as advertised. For $8+, it should have been outstanding but it was ok only. Expected more for the price. Barely any bits of mango in each cup. It wasn't even that sweet. Didn't have much mango taste considering a whole mango should have been used. Disappointing for the price read more

After hearing about all the hype with this place, I was glad I was finally able to try it. We waited over 45 minutes for our order, which was expected given the amount of orders placed before me, roughly 20-25 orders. They had a promotion for the mango lover drink: buy three get one free, and we had to order it for the value alone. The mango lover included a whole mango in each drink, and the follow toppings: sago, coconut milk and mango chunks. Overall the drink was what I expected, and was very refreshing on a hot summer day. The mango tasted fresh, and the coconut milk added to the creaminess of the drink, however, you could feel the ice chunks quite often in the drink taking away from the overall smoothness and mouthfeel of the drink. The mango chunks were sweet and the sago added a fun chewing experience. Given the time I had to wait, I honestly wouldn't order it again as I've had similar quality mango drinks from other stores in Vancouver. I'm glad to have tried it and if there wasn't a line, I would be open to trying their other mango drinks. read more

This is located in the food court area of Yaohan Centre. Lines can get long but they seem to churn out orders fairly fast. Got a mango slush and it had great mango taste and chucks of mango. Sweetness level was perfect. read more

Yummy place! Really does taste like fresh mangos and there are fresh mangos in the drinks. There was a good deal going which was buy 3 get 1 free. This is perfect for if you are a family of 4. The service was pretty quick. It's located inside Yao Han food court. It's a pretty small stand but cleanly looking. I would come again to try the other drinks but I got the mango lover because of the deal/promotion. read more

My kids used to like the old A Whole Mango. Now the woman running it is really rude. she does not put much mango in the cup either anymore. she even questioned why I took two straws when I bought one bubble tea. She is cheap and miserable. The quality of the drinks has deteriorated drastically. Do not recommend. read more

The drinks are very fresh and refreshing! Since A Whole Mango is located inside the Yaohan food court, there are a few parking lots outside the mall (not street parking). There was a short line when we got there and our drinks came out pretty quick. They were running a Buy-3-Get-1-Free promotion for their Mango Lover drink, which is what we ended up getting. The fresh mango taste mixed with the different textures in the drink made for a yummy combo - I ended up liking the drink more than I thought I would. If you're a mango lover, I would definitely recommend A Whole Mango and the Mango Lover drink (haha!) read more

First time ordered tea was strong. Second time Inorderred was just right. Not too bitter or not too sweet. Refreshing! They give you a ticket once ordered .Have number board to let you know when it is finished. They do take credit cards. Seems like a popular place due to lines. A new place (for me) that has some really good mango based drinks. This is located in the Yao Han food court area. This place is really good that I can back again before heading home. My first visit, I ordered the Mango Lover - mango, coconut milk, grapefruit, and sago. I asked for less sweet and it was perfect. It's really refreshing and just easy to drink. My second visit, I ordered the Mango Snow - mango, raindrop jelly, white pearls, and mangomilk Snow. This drink was also very good. Seriously refreshing mango place in the Yaohan Centre food court. Parking is available in the Yaohan lot. The place advertises that each drink contains a whole mango. Can't completely confirm that, but they only sell mango drinks here. Also there are staff clearly chopping up entire large bowls of mangos in the back. As of the time of writing, there is a promotion. Buy 3 mango lovers, get 1 free. Has to be the mango lover drink only, which kind of sucks to be honest. The drink is definitely refreshing. I like how it isn't too sweet, despite picking the "regular" sweetness. In my books this beats out most bubble tea places out there. The drinks are nice and lump at the top. The mango chunks are clearly visible. Pricing is up there with some of the pricier bubble tea shops, but this is real fruit, so I can't complain. I'd gladly come back. Recommended. read more

Saw this place on Instagram and made it a must visit spot. It's located in the older side of the golden triangle where the market and food court are. Mangos we're extremely sweet and fresh but the drink is missing that something that makes it stand out. It honestly just tasted like mango blended with water. Service was fast and there's plenty of seating at the food court. read more

We were walking around Yaohan Centre and spied A Whole Mango at the end of the Food Court. This was disappointing after we made it a point to try after dinner, since they're open until 8pm. There was a line to order and waited at least 20 minutes to get our drink. We ordered the Mango Lover since that seemed to be the most popular. We watched drinks get made and a blenderful of mango puree was poured out into 3 different cups, which means you might get 1/2 to 2/3 of a mango at best per drink, not the whole mango per cup as promised. Our Mango Lover was made with fresh pureed mango, coconut milk, grapefruit & sago and topped with bits of mango and grapefruit. It did not have a lot of flavor. I was expecting a punch of mango flavor like biting a fresh cut slice but it was barely a fizzle. The sago gives it some good texture, but it failed on many levels. I'll stick to Mango Mango, which does a way better job delivering on mango dessert drinks. read more

After a night of chowing down excessively, my friends and I needed some dessert to cap off the night. We couldn't really come up with anything we really wanted in particular nor could we point at a place we had to check out. After strong indecisiveness, we ended up at A Whole Mango for drinks. The set up is kinda scattered. The order window and the pick up window are in the same spot. You can kinda see the issue right off the bat. We slightly struggled figuring out where to line up, and others after us had the same issue as well. There's a pretty decent array of options. I'm not sure how popular the other drinks without mango are as it seems to defeat the point of coming here without having a mango drink. I ended up grabbing the Mango Snow. I'm not much of a mango person but I really enjoyed it. There was a ton of mango in the drink and the drink itself was flavored well. I really liked the amount of toppings provided. It was a bit pricey but I felt it was worth it for a once in a while indulgence. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was happy to have dropped by here. It'll always be in the back of my mind as a dessert option when I'm in Richmond now. read more

Every mango drink at A Whole Mango is supposed to be made using one whole mango . I ordered the Mango Jasmine Tea and while it was a tasty and refreshing beverage I really couldn't taste that much mango in the drink. It tasted more like Jasmine Tea than mango. The mangos looked to be a decent size so I'm not sure why the mango flavor was so weak in my drink. It's a decent place to grab a drink with your meal if you happen to be dining at the Yaohan Centre food court, but if Mango flavour is what you're after, then I'd look elsewhere. We were here to get a bite to eat and shop a little too. We decided to get a couple drinks here; to go with some noodles. I got the yogurt mango drinks and a mango slushy. Both drinks were decent and tasty. I think I prefer yogurt mango drink bc it had a little more texture from the purple rice in it. Tip: if I had gotten 3 drinks the 4th drink would be free. I just didn't want that many drinks. They were also selling roasted chestnuts at the time. Not sure if it was bc of the season. They also have other food items for sale; but the main is mango and fruit-based drinks. read more

Came across this while at the mall and had to try it. We ordered mango slush and mango lover. What is interesting is that mango lover has pomelo in it and mango slush is all mango... mango slush should be mango lover, in my opinion, but I digress! Mango Slush 5/5: this was super smooth and super mango-y. It also has little bits of mango on top. This is probably one of the best mango drinks I've had. You can adjust the sweetness, but it kept it at the regular level, which is probably 100. It doesn't taste artificially sweet, which is good! It tasted like very ripe mangos and it even has that great smell to it. Thinking about it makes me want one now! Mango lover 4/5: although this was good, I'm not a fan of pomelo, so mixing pomelo in already wouldn't be my favorite. This has a little bit of coconut milk in it as well. There were so many things mixed in, which took away from the mango itself. Would definitely recommend the mango slush if you love mangoes! read more

The Whole Mango is located in the Yaohan Centre in front of the food court and across from the TNT Supermarket. My daughter and I ordered the Mango Jasmine Tea and the Mango Lovers drinks. There were 3 workers behind the counter. They had a worker roasting chestnuts when we ordered but they were so backed up, he came and joined the other 2 workers. The drinks were good. I think when regular mangoes are used vs. ataulfo (aka champagne) mangoes, the drinks aren't as sweet, which is what it tasted like to me. It wasn't bad but I prefer ataulfo mangoes in general. We ordered a half pound of roasted chestnuts. They were good but either you like them or don't. I found when they were cooled completely, they were easier to shell but roasted chestnuts are best when they are hot. Overall, I would give this place a 3.5 due to the fact that we waited 20 minutes, which was quite a long time for 2 drinks. We visited on he Thursday after Christmas around 3 PM. read more

This is every mango lover's dream. They go through a TON of mangoes for their drinks and there's a wide array of drinks and desserts to choose from the menu. Located at the food court of the Yaohan Centre, it's super convenient to grab a drink and the wait time isn't that long. I got the mango jasmine tea and it was just refreshing enough. If my stomach allowed the room, I would've opted to get the mango yogurt or mango daydream as those are some of the most popular items. Yum! read more

we were at yaohan centre in richmond around 3:30 pm on sunday and headed straight for a whole mango at the food court. this place was busy and specializes in mango drinks. there were two of us, and neither could say no to a good deal, buy three get one free seemed to be a no brainer. they claim to use a whole mango in all their drinks. the mango lover has fresh, not frozen mango, coconut milk, grapefruit and sago, $7.43. mango lover is thirst quenching and reminded me of 8 juice's house special but with grapefruit instead of pomelo. the drinks are freshly made, while you wait. no need to specify ice and sugar level, and there's only one size with only a few items on the menu to choose from. when we were there, they had three people working behind the counter and maybe one person in the kitchen. there's a blue tv screen that shows your order and indicates whether it's ready or being prepared. at the time we were there, ten orders were ready for pick up and they were preparing eight orders. it took roughly 11 minutes for our drinks to be ready. there was an aroma of roasted chestnuts as they have roasted chestnuts available ranging in price from $14 to $20. credit cards are accepted. read more

If not, there are tea or yogurt options along with different levels of sweetness and temperature. It wasn't super sweet as you can imagine it isn't mango season. Does it have an entire mango in the drink? I don't know , but I'll give the benefit of the doubt and say that there is. For a drink with a whole mango in it I expected a more intense mango flavor. Otherwise it was ok. It's too sweet for me. Next time I'll order with no added sweetness and see if it's better. Update: now selling roasted chestnuts. read more

I love mangos so I figured I can't go wrong with a place called "A Whole Mango," and I was right! I loved my drink here. They're located in the Yaohan food court. I'm not sure how long they're offering this promotion for, but they were offering buy one get one 50% off when I went. The promotion sign was written only for their Mango Lover drink, so I'm a bit unclear whether it applies to all second drinks or only the Mango Lover. I was too lazy to ask, plus the Mango Lover was what I wanted anyways, so I got two cups of it. Normally it's $6.49 for one cup, so two cups cost a little over $10. Not bad! I got my drink a couple minutes later. It was really good and had just the right amount of sweetness (i.e. not too sweet)! As far as I can tell, it has coconut milk, sago, and mango puree, with plenty of small chunks of mango thrown in for good measure. My friend and I both loved this drink, and I'm already thinking about my next trip there! read more

A Whole Mango unsurprisingly uses... a whole mango in each of their drinks (disclaimer they do not sell whole mangos, go to the grocery store next door if you want that). If it's anything like how a whole orange only actually squeezes out a little bit of orange juice, that's not all that shocking. Nevertheless this place was amazing. We got their mango sago drink, which had mango chunks, coconut milk, and sago, and it was not too sweet (which is perfect for Asian standards), refreshing, delicious, and decently priced. On our two day Vancouver trip, we came here twice. And everybody got their own drink. That's how good it is. I can't speak for the other drinks but based on the one we had, I imagine the others are all amazing. I will admit - mangos are one of my top favorite fruits, so maybe I'm biased. But everyone else in my group was equally obsessed. 5 cause it's an entire whole mango!!! read more

He got the mango pomelo Sago with Jasmine jelly. My wife is supposed to share with me but she says it's good and hasn't given me a sip yet:p. Update: my daughter took the other half and also said it's really good. I'll have to come back another time to try myself!
