Fresh fruit does not always mean fresh taste. Kiwi Smoothie ~ $7.38, yes real fruit, a bit too runny. Was not thirst satisfying at all. The work station was a jumbled mess that needed a deep clean.
We had their House Special. We could not taste the coconut milk in the drink because it was extremely sweet. It tasted like sugar syrup with homo milk and mixed with mango, sago and pomelo. There was not much pomelo in the drink (only bits of pomelo), and they did not blend the drink well (there was a big portion of sago at the bottom of the drink that had no mango/liquid; just clear sago). For $10 a cup, the drink should be substantial with genuine ingredients. Since they neglected the coconut milk, that means they lied to customers because the drink was not authentic. Moreover, the servers left the drinks on the counter for awhile before calling customers to pick them up. They should call the customers right away after the drinks were made because there were a lot of people waiting (and people kept asking the servers about the drinks). Also, the servers themselves might mix up the orders if they just left them on the counter. So the wait was very long. P.S. The photos were from many years ago so the prices were different but the ingredients should be the same.
A nostalgic spot for fruit juices and smoothies at the Aberdeen food court. I got the large house special and came to $9.60. I like the mango sago coconut milk combo but it didn't taste as good as before.
I got the house special small, which is a juice consisting of mango, pomelo, and coconut. For 7.80 CAD for such a small size, it is not worth it at all. When I tasted the juice, it didn't taste that fresh and felt like they used fruit concentrates than actually fresh fruit blended in. I was a bit disappointed about their execution of the drink, but it was still an okay dessert after a meal.
I needed something healthy and fresh to combat all the rich, sweet and soon to be greasy food that I was going to consume...hellllloooo food court. I grabbed an apple, beet, ginger and lemon juice and it was super delicious! Fresh, super sweet. The wait was super long because this is a popular spot. There is some confusion on prices, they don't match what is posted, so just be aware.
found ourselves at aberdeen again, on a sunday, at around 4:30 m and it was crowded. stopped by 8 juice for our usual order, two large house special #1 and the wait was about 23 minutes. i think they changed their recipe, it tastes more orange citrus than mango.
Love their green juice. Purchased 5 green juices last time, they juice them fresh, the downside was a 20 minute wait. I appreciate the punch card reward system. However, it does get rather expensive. Wish there were a deal like buy 3 or more and get 20% off.
Located in the food court inside Aberdeen Centre. Their 5 green juice caught my eye as I wanted a drink on the cleaner side. Let me tell you, this drink tastes exactly as it sounds. Super fresh and the bitter melon gave it a strong kick at the end of each sip. It took a while for the drink to come out but that's because they are freshly preparing the juice. Like others said, it was a bit on the pricier side.
A must have drink when coming to aberdeen! I swear every time I go to aberdeen I always end up treating myself to their delicious freshly made drinks! * 2X large house special ($8.57/each) ~ this is the mango pomelo drink which is super delicious and made with fresh mango! It's sweet and delicious from the mango and chewy from the tapioca and mango bits. The portion is good too! And if you look closely you can see the load of goodies and stuff inside! * 10/10 ~ sooo good I absolutely love getting this! Despite the price it's always so good and refreshing! * 6/10 ~ it's pricey holy! But you can see they use fresh ingredients and they make it right in front of you! Total bill before tip for 2 drinks $18.00
I come here only for this juice and this juice alone: beet, apple, ginger, & lemon. It's pricey, but I guess that's the price you have to pay for delicious healthy juice? The signs can be misleading bc it literally said includes tax so my drink was only supposed to be $8-9, but somehow I paid $10? It's okay bc it's a small asian owned business (hopefully) so I didn't make a big fuss about it. They were kind enough to give me a separate cup for ice bc who drinks hot juice? Not me. Don't forget your reusable straw! PS don't ask me for any other recs bc I *only* get this beet apple ginger lemon juice :) I don't remember what those drinks from 2017 tastes like ok hehe
After making my rounds around the Aberdeen Center food court I ended with 8 Juice and ordered their signature #1 House Special which was a mixture of mango, coconut and sago. The mango and coconut flavors were not strong enough and it could have used more mango bits in the drink. I was already forewarned by my friend that another place served a better drink of the same kind but I was not going to make a special trip to that restaurant even though it was literally just across the street. Now in hindsight, I wish I did.
This place is a classic! Everytime I'm here in Abderdeen, I tend to get a juice from them - usually the watermelon slush juice. This time I opted for #8 - Blueberry Watermelon Slush. This drink was perfect and definitely satisfied my thirst. The process have slightly gone up over the years, but well worth it.
Juice made with fresh fruits and many different categories of blends. Make sure if you are also going to get food from other vendors, order from here first because it takes 10-20 minutes for them to make it. Other then the wait, the drinks are great!
Conveniently located inside Aberdeen Centre, which made it an easy stop right after dim sum. We ordered the Pina Colada and the Banana Strawberry Smoothie with Mango Jelly. The strawberry banana drink was perfect - smooth, flavorful, really sweet. The Pina Colada, on the other hand, missed the mark. It tasted more diluted than expected and lacked that rich, tropical punch. A small perk they do offer are stamp cards (buy 10 drinks, get 1 free). Overall, I do feel like the drinks here lean a bit heavy on artificial sweetness compared to fresh fruit flavor, which holds it back slightly. read more

This might be the worst drink I've had from a food court mall. I waited 15 minutes to just place the order. After you order, there's another 20 minute wait. We ordered the strawberry smoothie and kiwi smoothie. It doesn't taste like any fruit was used. It's not fresh fruit maybe some frozen liquid as base. The kiwi smoothie has no colour just brown. There is no fruit taste at all just a bunch of ice and water. The strawberry smoothie was equally bad. Each drink costed $ 9 dollars. Very poor quality drink for price paid. A worker was changing her bandaid and had no proper gloves on over the bandaid on the injured hand to prepare the drinks which is very unsanitary. Would not return. read more
I was told 8 Juice has been here for a while and was recommended to try them. There was a long wait, it took about 15 minutes. The drinks were very light in flavor and I didn't understand the hype. It seemed a bit pricey and although I'm not from the area, I did try a couple of boba shops in Vancouver with fancier drinks for cheaper. It has prime location right as you enter the food court. Otherwise just a mid juice shop. read more

I tried their House Special (mango, pomelo, and coconut) which was display on the menu, but they added tiny tapioca balls to the House Special which wasn't specified on the menu board. The drink was a little too sweet with a mostly mango taste to it and there was definitely added sugar/syrup due to the syrupy taste to it. There wasn't much of any coconut flavour or traces of any coconut at all and I could only taste small bits of fresh pomelo fruit in the juice. It took a very long time for the drink to be ready (over 15 minutes) and I don't think it was worth the wait for a drink that was swimming in tapioca. read more
There a variety of juice here from healthy to sugary drinks. The drink taste pretty good, could improve with some more ice. I ordered #68 which is healthy side and my wife ordered #1, which is the sugary side. My was not cold at all. It would have been better if it was cold. This experience is like I am in Asia where ice is scarce. read more

The specialty drink is overpriced and overreacted. Rather have a McD's smoothie at half the cost read more

My friend Andrea P. always raved about their House Special #1 Mango Smoothie. i finally had the chance to try out this drink when she visited me. You can choose to have this drink cold or hot (I chose room temperature aka no ice). After a 10 minute wait, my drink was ready for the ritual straw stabbing through the plastic top. This drink definitely put the smooth in smoothie. It wasn't overly sweet or bitter like some mango drinks I've had. It was a perfect mango sweetness, very natural but of course, since it's made from all natural ingredients. The special part I enjoyed most was the sago - tiny balls of tapioca love. The pomelo was a good texture twist as well. I haven't tried anything else yet but in the future I will... maybe... because I might just keep ordering this delicious mango drink* read more

Decided that I wanted a quick, non-bubble tea drink while in Aberdeen Centre. I picked this drink place that specializes in juices and chose a banana milkshake. It was the perfect combination of sweet and banana flavor. Seems like a solid place that watches their recipes. read more

Great alternative to a Booster Juice in Aberdeen. Their signature Strawberry/Kiwi is definitely great bang & taste too. Tasted pretty fresh, and didn't seem to have any added sugar as it didn't taste any more sweeter. But their mango with tapioca was amazing : packed with exploding flavours, and so much tapioca to make those fine dining Chinese restaurants out to shame. I can't believe I gave a juice place 4-stars! read more

Decent juice place! This was highly recommended by 2 of my friends. I had doubt about this place in the beginning because it is kinda expensive for juice. I got the house special drink and it's unique.... Don't really have much comments, the special is not outstanding, but I don't have anything negative comments about this place. read more

I have a friend. He is allergic to almost everything except for vegetarian food (so I dedicate this review to him). Not only is it hard to find any restaurants to bond with, in Richmond, it's almost impossible to find an Asian place that isn't filled with rice nor a bakery. Even certain vegetables with too much starch causes a reaction. Now, being the good friend that I am, I did my very best to find a hang-out spot where the dunces behind the counter isn't scamming us with a chemistry lab final nor substituting the honey with that sugar-version of MSG. But first things first, the back counter of 8 Juice is filled with fresh fruit, that's always a good sign. Perhaps they should buy more blenders, after I ordered my drink, a cloud of impatient Asians started condensing around the tiny stand. Yawning while getting up from a nearby table, my heart sunk a few inches as my medium blueberry milk (~$5) is as big was the snack size for Booster Juice. At least the taste did a number on my sadness. Knowing fully well that they were in season. It's no haute cuisine but least it was honest food, served in plastic. read more
Can't believe I've frequented Aberdeen food court for the last 8 years and have just stumbled across this drink! Gotta get thr house special. It's a blend of coconut and mango with pomelo bits and tapioca. It's super delicious. Only complaint is the cost of the drink. But everything is made with fresh fruits. read more

As you can see in many of the other reviews, the house special is amazingly good. It is my go to drink at the mall. The mango, pomelo, coconut and tapioca flavours are perfectly balanced. The line ups are long and prices are a bit higher than its completion. However, it is worth the line up when you are in the mall to try at least once. I have tried other flavours but always go back to the house special. I wished the cashier did not wear the plastic gloves while handling cash. It gives the impression she is touching money and then touching fruit to make the drinks in the same set of gloves. read more
